Narrator's POV
The plan was set, and the Light thought that the Dark had extinguished itself.
The Dark was currently relaxing, refreshing itself after the challenging war —though the fight was far from over.
The LeStranges had decided to go on a vacation to the Amazons and the rest of South America; the Lovegoods decided to go on a trip throughout Europe and America; the Malfoys had decided to stay home mostly, occasionally venturing to France; Hermione, Barty, Theo, Verity, and Rowan decided to go to every beach in the world; and Remus and Sirius had decided to go to a private island while the wait was on; so, Tom and Hadrian were alone in Riddle Manor most of the time.
But before Hadrian's godfathers left for their island vacation, Tom had asked something of them and they happily agreed.

On a cool summer night, Tom and Hadrian were having a romantic, candlelit dinner in the garden.
On this night, they ate Chicken with Creamy Mushrooms paired with a sparking rose wine.
While they are, the couple chatted about random things.
Once finished, they sat sipping at their wine.
"Darling, I have something I want to ask you." Tom casually says
"What?" Hadrian asks, taking a sip
"I've tried to follow tradition as best as possible, love, but seeing that I couldn't ask your father, I asked your godfathers instead." Tom continued, pulling something out of his pocket "I want to know if, well... I want to know if you'll marry me, Hadrian?"
Hadrian was stunned.
He knew this would happen soon, but he couldn't believe that it was already here.
The Queen knew that it would be best for them to get married and bonded while the standstill was going on, but he was still shocked.
It was a silver ring, it was shaped like several infinity symbols covered in emeralds and diamond with a larger diamond in the center.
And engraved on the inside it said "Our forever begins with I do."
Hadrian blinked several times before saying, "Of course I'll marry you, Tom."
Tom smiled as he slipped the ring onto Hadrian's left ring finger, then pulling the younger male into a soft kiss.

The next day, still bubbling with bliss, Hadrian entered the diary horcrux for the first time in two weeks.
Once appearing in the Chamber, he was pulled into a hug by Tom.
Suddenly, Tom let go and looked at Hadrian's hand.
"He asked you to bond with him, didn't he?" The diary sadly asked
"Yes, he did last night." Hadrian answered, confused on why Tom was upset
"Completely unfair." The Slytherin whispered
"What's unfair?" Hadrian carefully asked
"I'M the one who taught you all the magic you know, it was ME notHIM. You got kidnapped on HIS watch. And time and time again HE'S kept you in a bubble, I'VE been the one to expand your skills." Tom said, almost begging

"Aren't you both Tom?" Hadrian ask the diary
"Not really, Hadrian, we may have been one person once, but we are two different people now. We both have are own feelings, our own love for you, and our own jealousies." The diary explains
"How am I suppose to make a decision like this?" Hadrian asks
"Listen to your heart, love, do what it tells you." The Slytherin soothed, as Hadrian left the diary —not knowing who to choose
***
Hadrian, who had appeared in the real world again, was stumped.
He was expected to choose one half of his soulmate's soul over the other.
The Slytherin teenager or the Dark Lord.
The one who taught him magic or the one he ruled beside.
Unable to make a choice, he watched a butterfly with green wings fly from a blue iris to a red rose.
Suddenly, an idea hit him, what if he could have both?
***
Hadrian ran back into the manor, up a flight of stairs, straight into Tom's office.
Lord Voldemort, who was calmly reading some paperwork regarding the war to come, looked up at his soulmate.
"What's wrong, darling?" Tom asked, concerned
"How do I make a horcrux?" Hadrian asked
"There's a book about it in my bedside draw with some notes, why?" Tom asked
"I'll explain later." Hadrian answered, zooming out of the office and into their bedroom
***
Hadrian pulled the book, "Dark Arts Over the Centuries" out of the wooden drawer, he flipped through the aging pages to a page titled "Horcrux" and read it.
"A Horcrux tethers half of the soul inside your body to an inanimate object of your choice. By doing this, you are unable to die. But to do this you must commit a murder and recite this chant. 'Celare animam meam.' After chanting that, point your wand at the object you wish to become your horcrux and it will be so. Warning: Do not make more than three horcruxes or else you will cease to be human and become insane."
***
After collecting Tom's diary and asking a house-elf to bring up some prisoner, Hadrian waited in an empty room.
The elf appeared with the prisoner, a girl: who had fake blonde hair; plain brown eyes; extremely short clothing that barely covered her clevage; and under the layer of dirt, you could see that she was caked in makeup; she was clearly a prostitute and a muggle.
"Let me go." The muggle girl cried
Hadrian decided to kill her quickly —not out of mercy, but convenience to himself.
The Queen quickly threw the killing curse at the girl, who promptly fell dead, and said the chant, then pointed his wand at the diary.
He gasped painfully as half of his soul left his body and into the diary.
Hadrian quickly recovered and re-entered the diary.
***
Once he entered, he saw Tom sitting on the floor.
"Did you make your choice, love? Did you choose me or him?" The Slytherin asked
"Him." Hadrian answered
"I knew it." Tom muttered
"But I also have something for you." Hadrian added, as a figure materialized next to Tom
The figure was revealed to me Hadrian, dressed in Slytherin robes and scarf.
"You made a horcrux?" Tom breathed, looking at the new figure
"I didn't want you to be alone, so now both of you get a piece of me." Hadrian explained
Tom sprang up from the ground and held the new horcrux in his arms, "Thank you!"
"Have fun you two." Hadrian chuckled as he left the diary, watching the two horcruxes run to a different section of the Chamber to be alone with each other (A/N: insert horcrux hanky-panky)...
