Pinapatawag daw ako sa office ni Doc.

Pag bukas ko ng pinto nakita ko agad si Regina .

"Ay Narda! Tamang-tama—come in." —Regina

"Ahm pinapa tawag nyo daw po ako.?" sabay lapit ko.

"Yes. Ipapakilala lang sana kita Kay doc Ava." sabay turo nya ng kaharap.

"H-hello po. Narda Custodio po."

"I think i know you. Ikaw yung nasa news right? " sabi ng babaeng doctor matapos akong lingunin.

"O-opo."sabay tingin ko Kay Regina.

"Palagi ka ring nakikwento ni Regina and in that one incident ang galing-galing mo. No wonder why Regina admires you a lot."

*smiles

Napa tingin ako kay Regina na ngumiti naman.

"Gusto mo bang mag doctor? I can mentor you."

Luh, seryoso?

"O-opo kaso siguro next time nalang. Eh hindi pa po kasi kaya ng budget." nahihiyang sabi ko.

"It's okay. I will wait for you." sabi nya sabay abot ng kamay ko.

Hindi ko naman napigilang mapangiti ng husto sa sinabi nya. "S-salamat po."

"Hindi ko ini-expect na magkakaroon ako ng chance na mag aral ng medisina..." sabi ko habang sabay kaming naglalakad ni Regina galing office.

"Now you have the chance. I'm happy for you." nakangiting sabi nya.

"Salamat Regina ha."

"Wala yun, ano ka ba Narda. Magiging doctor ka rin and I would be the proudest girl when that time comes."

*smiles

"By the way, thankyou sa dala mong pagkain. Masarap." dagdag nya.

"Gawa ni lola yun. Eh.. Akala ko nga hindi ka kumakain nun."

"Ha? Bakit naman? Well... Hindi talaga ako dati kumakain nun but since it came from you I tried it. Sobrang sarap pala. "

"Grabe ka sakin. Anong akala mo sakin Maarte?" natatawang dagdag nya.

"Hi-hindi ganun Regina, akala ko lang kasi... Hindi mo magugustuhan."

"Narda. I like it so much. Kakainin ko lahat basta galing sayo."

"Wee? Kumakain ka ng isaw? Balut?"

"Hindi. Pero gagawin ko for you." nakangiting sabi nya.

"Ahh Regina salamat pala sa paghatid sakin kagabi. Pasensya narin nakatulog na pala ako."

"I know pagod ka so hindi na kita inistorbo."

"Sorry parin naabala pa kita alam kong gabing-gabi na pero hinatid mo pa ako, alam ko rin namang pagod ka. Kung hindi ako sumabay sayo edi sana naka uwi ka na agad para magpahinga." sabi ko.

"Pwede naman, gusto mo next time I'll take you home nalang?" seryosong tanong nya kaya na patingin ako sakanya ng diretsyo. Smiles* "Just Kidding! Hahaha!"

"Ayuko nga!" biro ko sabay tingin sa malayo.

"Why??" natatawang tanong nya.

"E-eh pwede namang sa bahay ka nalang." sabay lingon ko sakanya—biglang nawala yung tawa nya kanina.

Luhh baka di sya natuwa.. Nag joke lang naman eh..

"Joke lang din!—haha sige na Regina. Marami pa akong tatapusin. " sabi ko pero hindi sya sumagot at tumango nalang kaya nag lakad nalang ako palayo.

Luh may nasabi ba akong masama??

Kasalanan toh ni Narda... Hayyst!

I pick up my phone and check the time, it's already 11:30 pm. I scrolled my gallery and unconsciously smiled after seeing the recent picture I have. —it was Narda and I,i took a photo of her last night noong tulog sya sa car. Ipang bablackmail ko lang sana, medyo nakanganga pa kasi sya.

*chuckles

Minsan din talaga ang cute ni Narda, that's what I notice everytime I was looking at her. Yung feeling na kapag ngumiti na sya lumiliwamag yung paligid—ohmygod OA ba ako?

Haiist matulog na nga ako.

*pulled the pillow then cover the face with it while side lying.

Mahimbing ang tulog ng doktora na walang ka Malay-Malay na may ibang tao na pala sa loob ng kwarto kung saan sya natutulog. Hindi ito ordinaryong tao kundi isang extra —inilabas nito ang matalim na kutsilyo habang malumanay na humakbang palapit sa doktor.

Narda came in the office with so much excitement, nakangiti pa sya pagpasok ng opisina until she noticed na parang ang lungkot ng mga kasamahan nya.

"A-anong nangyare??"

Her co-employee didn't answered. Suddenly Regina approached with a devastated expression.

"Hindi ko alam kung anong gagawin ko. It was too devastating... Diba sabi nya magiging mentor ka pa nya, hihintayin ka pa nya. That's how passionate she was..."Doctor Armando said—he stood up and pick up the photo frame.

Narda's face can't hide the sadness in it. She was too shock for the sudden news. Kahapon lang ang saya-saya nya pero ngayon yung taong inaasahan nya na makakatulong sakanya ay patay na.

"Dalawang kaibigan na ang nawala saakin. Doc Ava was a very good friend of mine... Etong si Marcus Doctor din yan. Car accident naman... " he said reffering to the man in the picture.

"Narda! Narda WA-wait!" I called then grab her wrist to stop her from walking away.

She stopped but didn't looked at me directly.

"Narda..." I utter after seeing the sadness in her. "Hey..." I slowly held her hand.

"O-okay lang ako Regina..."

"Just like you Narda, hindi rin ako makapaniwala. She's a very good person... And I know what you feel right now. Nakita ko kahapon kung gaano ka kasaya and looking at you right now affect me a lot. I was so happy yesterday seeing you happy Narda..."

"Hindi lang naman ako malungkot dahil sa pinangako ni Doc Ava Regina eh... Nagagalit at nalulungkot lang ako kasi Sobrang bait nyang tao at hindi nya deserve yun."

"I know... I know Narda."

Regina parked the car at the side of a road then glance at the person sitting next to her who was so quiet the whole ride.

"Buti hindi ka nakatulog." she breaks the silence then smiled.

"Hu-huh?" Narda utter na para bang hindi nya naintindihan ang sinabi ng katabi.

Regina just pursed a smile not minding it. "Sabi ko buti hindi ka nakatulog... —hmm... Like this." she showed her phone screen.

Narda's eyes widen in surprised.

"Regina bakit mo naman ako pinicturan ng tulog!? Nakakahiya nakanganga pa ako oh—Akin na!" she tried to grab it away from Regina's hands but the latter pull it away from her.

"Oops! No you can't."

"Ehhh Regina paki-delete nalang—"

"Uh uh..." she shooked her head.

"Ang Sama.." Narda lean away pouting.

"Okay. Fine. In one condition."

*glance

"Ano??"

"Smile."

"Huh?"

"Show me your smile. Right now." Regina seriously said that paused Narda.

Narda sighed then smiled without showing her teeth.

"Yan na yun?? —tsk! Narda show your teeth."

"Ihhhh—ekey ne??" she utter in a forceful smile.

Regina's eyebrow raised then looked away. "Okay fine." she utter then was about to hide her phone inside her bag but Narda stole it from her hands—she was surprised to how fast Narda did that.

Narda smirked. "Kala mo ha."

"Narda give me my phone." she said in demand.

Narda ignored her then opened the phone. She found the gallery—opened it and found her photo. She was about to delete it but something caught her attention that she finds more Interesting.

It was Regina's selfies—dorky poses. She smiled as she never see this side of Regina before.

"Why are you smiling?" Regina asked in her serious tone.

"Wala. Ang cute mo dito." Narda showed her the photo, the one that she's pouting.

"NARDA —"

"OPPS!"

"Narda I'm not joking. Give me my phone.PLEASEE? " she offered her hand asking for it —Narda just glance at it.

"Matapos mo akong pag tripan?"

Regina tried to grab it but her seat belt pulled her back to her seat.

"Hahaha bakit? Cute mo nga eh."Narda take her phone out and opened her camera—Regina take her seat belt off then grab it.

"NARDA ANO BA—" She fall in Narda's lap instead—thier faces are inches away that paused them both.

*gulped.

Narda was staring at her eyes but Regina's eyes dropped down her lips.

"N-Narda..." Regina utter without looking away.

*gulped* "U-huh?"

They both flinched in surprised—Regina lean back awkwardly.

"So-sorry..." Narda handed her the phone back.

"It's okay..."

"Pero totoo, cute mo kaya jan. Haha." Narda awkwardly laughed.

*smiles* "Just promise me don't tell it to anyone. Wag na wag mong sasabihin ang nakita mo."

"P-promise."

Regina smiles.

"Sige... Goodnight." Narda utter then take off her seat belt —opened the door and step out of the car. She faced her.

"Ingat ka Regina."

"Ikaw rin."

"Sige..."

"Sige..."

"Bye..."

"B-bye...night."Regina pursed a smile.

Narda finally closed the door then Regina started the car engine and then drove away.

Narda's sadness came back as she entered the door of thier house.

" OH Narda! Tara kain na —si Brian andito " her grandmother called —Brian was eating with her family.

"B-Brian? Andito ka pala."

"Ate naman di mo ba nakita yung sasakyan nya sa labas?" Ding said.

"A-ahh.. Di ko napansin."

"Tara Narda kain." Brian called smiling.

"Bat ang tagal mo?" tanong ni lola habang kumakain kami.

"Oo nga. Naglakad ka nanaman?" —Brian.

"Hindi ah. Hinatid ako ni Regina."

"Ni maam Regina? Asan na sya?" Brian asked.

"A-ah umuwi na."

"Bat di mo inaya?" tanong ni lola.

"Kaya nga ate."

"Nagmamadali narin sya eh." sagot ko saka sinubo yung kanin.

"Okay ka lang?" Sita Ni Brian kaya na patingin ako sakanya.

"Huh?"

"Parang ang lungkot mo kasi pag pasok mo palang ng pinto."

"Okay lang ako."

"Sure??"

"Concern yarn?" sabat ni Ding sa tabi ko.

"Shempre." Sagot ni Brian sabay ngiti.

"Yieeeeeee"— Ding.

"Alam mo ba Ding si ate mo, unti nalang malapit ka ng mahampas."

"Hoyyy kumakain oh. Tama na yan." Sita ni lola.
