(Tuesday NXT 2.0)

Two huge tag team matches were on for tonight's show at the Capitol Wrestling Center.

Ilyas was at catering looking over the pictures Io sent to him from their hangout this weekend. As he was occupied, his mentor The Ring General startled him by tapping his shoulder.

Ilyas: oh my goodness General, you startled me

Walter smirked and took the opportunity to tease his subordinate.

Walter: looks like you had a good time this weekend

Ilyas: General, she is just a friend

Walter: your friend for now, but it will be more in the future

Ilyas: we're just in the getting to know each other stage

Walter: a good start

Ilyas: oh you saw the match card for tonight?

Walter: yes, and this is the perfect time for you to be a part of the group

The Descendant's eyes lit up.

Ilyas: I'm part of the group now?

Walter: yes, and I got an update on Fabian, he will return soon, he was dealing with an injury

Ilyas: oh I see

Walter: I want to see you and Marcel work together like a well oiled machine

Ilyas: you can count on us, General

Walter: good, I'll see you out there later

The Ring General patted his shoulder and left the young Descendant to himself.

(At the women's locker room)

Io was smiling while she was looking through pictures of her and Ilyas from their hang out last weekend. This caught the attention of the young NXT 2.0 star and her tag team partner for tonight's match, Cora Jade.

Cora: oooh, what's that?

Io's eyes widen as she was startled from Cora sneaking up behind her.

Io: Cora-chan!

Cora: oh sorry Io, I didn't mean to startle you

Io: it's alright

Cora: oh, were you hanging out with the new guy?

Io blushed a bit, but she couldn't hide anything from Cora since she saw the proof for herself.

Io: hai, but we're only friends

Cora: oh yes, from the start, but sooner and later-

Io blushed and covered Cora's mouth while the young star giggled and smirked.

Cora: just messing and joking with you, Io

Io: I know you were, but now let's focus on our match for tonight

Cora: oh yeah, I really want to take down Toxic Attraction, especially the head of the snake, Mandy Rose

Io: hmm, we are partners for tonight, but when the NXT Women's Title is on the line, we are opponents

Cora: I know, but let's focus on taking care of her sidekicks

Io: hai, let's think of a strategy

The two talk strategy for their match as they are dealing with a common enemy in the trio of Jacy Jayne, Gigi Dolin and Mandy Rose.

(In the ring)

Legado del Fantasma members Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza were all ready for their tag team match while their leader Santos Escobar was hyping his boys up. Then the classical theme of Imperium played while the silhouettes of Walter, Barthel and Ilyas was displayed.

As the lights returned to normal, the crowd were surprised to see Ilyas standing in formation with the two European Superstars. Walter began the charge as he leads Barthel and Ilyas to the ring, and remembering from what he learned from the Ring General, Ilyas wiped his feet before going inside the ring, adapting Imperium's ideology of declaring that the mat is sacred.

As the three men got in the ring, Ilyas and Barthel went to their spots and waited for the Ring General to take the front line position; then Walter called for the signal and the three put their arms behind their backs in sync.

(Match start)

The two to start off the match were fellow countrymen Ilyas Rizal and Joaquin Wilde. From the start, the strength from Walter's subordinate was displayed as Ilyas locked up and pushed Wilde down. The Descendant picked up Wilde and attempted for a short lariat, but Wilde ducked it only to be met by a hard chop to the chest from Ilyas, knocking the Legado member down. Wilde crawled to his corner while he's holding his chest in pain; Wilde tagged in Mendoza and locked up with Rizal.

(Minutes later)

The Impeccable German Marcel Barthel was on the second turnbuckle measuring Mendoza for a diving uppercut; however, Wilde was distracting the referee giving Santos Escobar the opportunity to push Barthel off the turnbuckle; however Walter played equalizer and pulled down Escobar before taking him out with his signature hard knife edge chop to the chest, neutralizing Escobar.

In the ring, Mendoza capitalized by nailing Barthel with a running shooting star press, but it was only good enough for two count as Barthel got his shoulder up at 2.

(Fast forward)

Barthel tagged in Ilyas and went right to work on leveling both Mendoza and Wilde. The Descendant took down Mendoza with the slingblade, and was ready to end it, but behind him was Wilde climbing up the top turnbuckle.

As Ilyas turned around, Wilde jumped but the Descendant swatted him in midair with a chop to the chest. He then got Mendoza and played a symphony by nailing the Legado member with three powerbombs. However, on the fourth and final powerbomb, Ilyas got Mendoza up in the position and Barthel jumped to execute an uppercut while Rizal powerbombed Mendoza for the Imperial Bomb and Rizal got the pinfall victory for Imperium.

The Ring General got in the ring and raised his subordinates' arms. Then the three Imperium members walked up to the stage and once again executed their military like stance.

(In the back)

Io was amazed of both Ilyas' performance and his tag team chemistry and communication with the Imperium members. Cora then took another chance to tease the Joshi Judas.

Cora: your boyfriend did well, huh?

She said with a smirk while Io blushed.

Io: he's not my boyfriend Cora-chan, and hai he did so well and worked perfectly with Marcel-kun

Cora: is he your inspiration for our match in a few minutes?

She continued to tease her more.

Io: Cora-chan!

The Joshi Judas was now a blushing mess.

Cora: I'll see you out there

Cora giggled and smirked as she rode off on her skateboard to the gorilla area.

Io was all ready to go and prepare to take down Toxic Attraction with the young star Cora Jade as her partner. As she went to the gorilla, she saw Walter, Barthel and Ilyas walking in. The Ring General saw the two looking at each other and smirked as he and Marcel walked away to leave the two to themselves.

Ilyas: hey Io, did you see my match?

Io: hai, I did. You really fit well with Imperium

Ilyas: well years of training under Walter made me adapt to their class and traditional methods of wrestling. And I see you're ready for a fight

Io: hai, tag team match with Cora-chan

Ilyas: well I'll be watching very closely

Io: arigato, well time for me to go kick some ass

Ilyas: good luck Io

Io smiled and walked off to meet with Cora while Ilyas couldn't help but to check out Io's thicc covered butt through her ring attire.

Ilyas: wow... Io has a nice booty

He blushed and whispered to himself as he went to his locker room to rest while he watched his new friend in action.

(In the ring)

Io and Cora already made their entrances and were ready for a fight against their common enemy, the trio stable known as Toxic Attraction.

The NXT Women's Tag Team Champions Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne made their entrance with NXT Women's Champion Mandy Rose by their side.

Gigi and Jacy got in the ring and stared at Cora and Io down as the non-title women's tag team match was about to start.

Cora and Gigi started off the match for their teams. Gigi got Cora in a side headlock, but Jade managed to push her off to the ropes only for Dolin to fire back with a shoulder block on Cora; she went to the ropes again only for Cora to fire back with a head scissors takedown, forcing Gigi to roll out of the ring to catch her breath and regroup. Jade took advantage and climbed to the top turnbuckle to jump for a diving crossbody on both Jacy and Gigi, giving her and Io the upper hand for the mean time.

(Fast forward)

Toxic Attraction turned the tables in their favor after a distraction from Gigi giving Mandy to push Cora off the top turnbuckle. Dolin ducked a punch from Cora and countered it with a German suplex pin combo, but Jade managed to kick out at the last second.

Cora created separation with a German suplex of her own on Gigi and slowly crawled to her corner to tag in Io who was like a caged tiger waiting for to be unleashed. Jacy managed to tag in to stop Jade, but Cora kicked Jacy from her and tagged in the Joshi Judas. Io got in the ring and took down Jacy with a German suplex and then taking down Gigi with a right hand shot. Io took down Jayne with forearm shot, making her roll out to regroup with Dolin.

Io took advantage and quickly climbed to the top turnbuckle. She measured and got all three members of Toxic Attraction in her crosshairs; then she jumps and takes down all three members with a moonsault. Then the Joshi Judas rolled Jayne back in the ring for a pin attempt, but it was broken up from Gigi. Cora got back in and takes down Gigi with a step up kick.

Then Cora tripped Jacy to the ropes for Io to execute a 619, the signature of her idol Rey Mysterio. Cora then climbed to the top turnbuckle and flattens Jayne with a senton drop; then Io climbed to the top turnbuckle and finishes it with her signature moonsault for the pinfall victory.

(In the back)

Ilyas smiled and nodded while he watched the finish of the match. He finished washing up and was already packing his stuff.

(Time skip)

Ilyas was leaving the Capitol Wrestling Center and saw Io waiting by the crates. The Joshi Judas turned to see the Descendant and smiled as he walked up to her.

Ilyas: Io-san, that was a great moonsault you did there and also a great match out there. You and Cora worked really well together

Io: yes and arigato, she is my partner for tonight, but soon will be opponent for the championship soon

Ilyas: well whenever that match will happen, you can guarantee that I will cheer you on when you win and when you raise that title high

Io smiled and feels appreciated of her new friend's encouragement while also feeling something inside of her, something warm and tender.

Ilyas: ready to go?

Io: hai

She said with a smile. Then the two left the wrestling center and drove back to their homes for the night, ready for the relaxing weekend ahead of them.
