Chapter 33

Truth.

The next morning, Kalego is the first to get up, he is an early riser and lets his wife sleep and quietly opens a tunnel to go to her room; to avoid chatter in the corridor.

He then gets dressed and goes to breakfast and then thinks about what training he can give her, which is not easy since he is not a demon, so he thinks about it again and when he comes to a solution he comments:

"Yes, it can go and this the only way."

Next, the rest of his servants greet him when he passes and then he goes towards the room of the woman who when he opens the door softly hears:

"I have to tell him, I have to tell him that I am human... I have to do it, strength and courage!"

Kalego in thought: "What is he mumbling about? What's the story?"

And again, as he sees her pacing nervously in the center of the room:

"He has a right to know how Balam says... ."

Kalego: "Balam? What?"

As he enters and always very quiet he approaches.

She: "he must know that I'm half Anubian and half ... human ... that's right ... ."

And when she turns around, she finds herself face to face with Kalego, with her arms crossed and a stern look and says: "What's this all about?"

She with a surprised but at the same time frightened face:

"That half of my race belongs to that of humans ... ."

Him: "Eh? Are you kidding me ?!"

Her: "No ... I can read forbidden books."

Him: "You priestesses are very cultured and for sure you have contacts with them."

Her: "They can be counted on the hand! And then as you can see I'm not equal to them!"

Him: "On Inb there aren't those similar to you?"

She: "No, we're rare! I'm half human and I was afraid to tell you because demons eat humans ... and I thought that you too ... well ... ."

Him: "What would I have eaten you? Seriously? That's a fairy tale to make us feel superior to them!"

Her: "I humbly apologize if I didn't tell you before ... ."

With this, Kalego is now furious and a powerful purple aura begins to emerge from his body and he cannot believe that she too has betrayed him with this big lie!

However, he just turns around and leaves the room, slamming the door and she just a sad look.

He goes back to his room more than angry at her where he meets Balam, who entered with a portal and who tells him:

"Day Kalego, did you sleep well?"

And he pissed off and points at it with his index finger:

"You! You knew she is half human! Isn't that so ?!"

Balam surprised: "Yes ... I knew ... so ... did she tell you?"

Him: "That stupid traitor!"

Balam happy: "Excellent and finally! No wait, why a traitor?"

He who now walks in the center of the room nervous:

"Because the trust that is the basis of our relationship has now gone to hell! And you knew it! Why didn't you tell me anything ?!"

Balam: "Mmmm because did she have to tell you and then really sorry? Do you find the only living being who can stand and support you and want to send her to that country? Really ?!"

Kalego still enraged now stands in front of the window, clenching his fists and where he also lets out Cerberion as much as he is angry that he growls at him afterwards:

"You too I see that you are no less! Disappear! Get out of this room!"

Then the partner understands that he must first calm down and then does as said, concluding:

"Sure I'm going ... but think carefully about your next move."

After at least two hours Kalego has calmed down and is now in his thoughts and he still cannot believe that half human is married, the very lesser creatures that they can easily master!

But then he thinks about what they've been through together, how he endured and helped him and demonstrated his trust in him more than once and also courage in some situations and so he really wants to break the union he has with her own. now that he has found his perfect mate? Next he puts his hand under her chin and still thinks that to be half human she was also brave to face that world where she eats them with a bite, so she finally made his decision of him.

He returns to her who is sitting on the pouf, where before her he looks at her and she:

"Now are you going to file for divorce and tell the demonic border police?"

Him: "Stupid half human ... ."

And after that, he bends over and kisses her like the first time, that is passionate and after he is done: "After this, do you think I'll do what you just said?"

Amazed she replies: "No ... but doesn't it bother you?"

"Mf! Our relationship is already outside the demonic norm, why should I break up? After all, I'm the one who had to understand everything from the start."

His words that lift her up, because he tries to take some of the blame, even if he doesn't say it openly and afterwards, she gets up and hugs him! That he stays there first, because he's not used to it at all, but afterwards he lets himself go and reciprocates by hugging her gently. There is no divorce with her, he wants her with him even if he is half human and then he adds:

"Remember that half of your blood belongs to an ancient demonic race, with this the human part in this world is almost completely invisible, so don't make any other problems."

And after they broke away, she replies with:

"Yes ... and I'm happy to be your wife Kalego."

With a smile, what goes on in his heart! Since this is the first time he hears it:

"Tz! Enough now, have breakfast and then join me outside the villa."

She just nods her head happy.

In the garden of the villa, Balam:

"So you got it clear, right?"

Her: "Yes."

Him: "Oh how beautiful and how happy I am!"

Kalego who just arrived:

"Happy? And what bad infamous thing! I have not forgotten and I will not let you get away with it! Remember that I am the head of the faculty and expect some extra demonic work and also on holidays!"

Balam: "What? Oooh but what a bad guy ... ."

Him: "Tz! Of course I'm a demon."

Next to the depressed face of the partner, followed by an embarrassed look from Annabel and after this, someone approaches saying:

"Kalego, it's been a while since we last met."

He is surprised, because he has recognized the voice, turns and sees it.

Tall, with hair of the same color and an even more severe look and responds with an open mouth and eyes that sparkle:

"F-brother Narnia... ."

She: "Brother?"

Balam: "Wow, Kalego's older brother who works in the police who patrol demonic borders ... I didn't expect to see him live!"

Her: "Woa ... in fact they look alike."

Narnia, always impassive, tells him:

"What does it mean that you got married to a human? Kalego I want some answers."

And he is thrilled and cold sweats.

Balam: "Ohi ohi this didn't take us... ."

Instead, Annabel thinks things will go from bad to worse.
