New York was being torn apart by good hands stained in blood and vengeance. Y/n swung, lept and ran through the city and on top of buildings to get to the Empire State Building where her mentor was starting his reign.
On the ground, the alpha team fought against Kraven and Sandman, trying to get the two away from each other so they would be easier to take down. With each punch and kick thrown at the other, blood would drip from the cuts and stain the concrete ground.
Everyone would remember this day, no matter how it ended.
"YOU DON'T HAVE TO DO THIS OTTO!" I yelled at my mentor, landing on the roof of the building.
"Nice to see you again, y/n. A shame you don't want a part of this." Otto walked towards me, his brown hair flowing widely in the wind.
"This isn't you Otto. The man I know wouldn't want mass destruction! The man I know is good!"
I ducked under one of his metal arms aiming for my throat, backflipping over it when it came at me from behind again.
"THAT MAN IS DEAD! And I have you to thank for that." Otto screamed.
I shot a web at one of this metal arms, encasing the claw as I charged towards him. I hissed when another claw sliced me in the stomach, ripping open the fabric of my suit as a flow of blood spilled onto the rooftop.
Flipping over another arm, I managed to spin between two oncoming ones and punch the scientist in the face, cracking his black goggles in the right eye.
"Please Otto! Whatever your reason is, it's not worth the lives of innocent people!" I grunted, getting knocked backwards by another metal arm.
I gripped the arm in my hand, shooting a web at his face with my other as I pulled the metal arm with brute strength, tearing it right off from his suit.
Doc Oc roared, the neck vein being prominent as it stood out against his cherry red face. Grunting, I tossed the metal arm straight for him as I charged him once more. Sliding under another one of his arms, I punched him in the dick, his body heaving over and falling onto the roof.
I made my way over to the tesseract machine as quickly as I could while I had the time, trying to pull apart the many wires powering the machine.

My body arched forward, wrists becoming enveloped in the metal arms I helped create as another one tore through my stomach straight through the other side.
"FUCK!" I roared in agony, mouth open in a silent yell of pain as I tasted crimson on my tongue.
"I really should thank you, y/n. If it wasn't for you, none of this would have been possible. These people's blood is on your hands just as much as mine. Embrace it."
The metal arms creaked as he turned my broken and bleeding body around to face him.
"What do you- ah!" I gasped when the grip around my wrist became painfully tight, "What do you hope to gain from all this?"
"First Norman Osborn will pay with his life, and the next," A deep and dark cackle bubble up his throat and tumbled past his chapped thin lips, "I'm creating a new breed of monsters. One that starts from your blood. People will learn to respect me."
"Nobody will respect you! You're building a world made from the ashes and bloodshed!" I spat.
"Then good thing you won't be conscious to see it." The brunette removed the metal claw from my stomach, detaching the others from my wrist as I fell to the ground in a pool of my own blood.
"Sandman is down! How you doing up there y/n?" Cap breathes heavily through the coms.
"I've been better." I chuckled, wincing as pain shot through my veins.
"We've got Kraven badly wounded. We'll be up there as soon as we can."
"Take your... time." I coughed.
"Y/n what's going on?" Nat asked, panic lacing her voice.
"You know, the usual." I chuckled, coughing up more blood. "Got to go."
"They won't miss you. You're easily replaceable." Ottos robotic arm kicked my body across the roof.
"Is that why you hate Norman so much? Because he forgot about you and replaced you with someone better?"
My body skidded across the scorching hot roof once more, rolling in a trail of my own blood as Otto hit me.
"You know, if you're going to kill me, get on with it." I lifted myself up slowly till I was wobbly standing on my feet.
"Y/n, y/n," his tongue clicked against the roof of his mouth, "I don't need to kill you when I have people to do that for me."

My body was too weak to react to my spider senses going off and at least try to dodge the robotic arm coming for my throat. Soon I was being lifted into the air and coming closer to the scientist.
"Enjoy, Venom." He cackled, stabbing my with a glass syringe in my shoulder.
"What!?" I grunted, pulling the syringe out of my shoulder.
"You think I only had one specimen of it? HA!"
My adrenaline kicked in full force, or maybe that was the symbiote healing me from the inside.
"Kraven is down! I repeat Kraven is down!" Cap yelled.
"We're coming baby, hold on!" Nat rasped.
Everything began to go in slow motion as I screamed in rage, tasting my own blood as I stabbed my mentor, my friend, my own father figure in the neck with the syringe, breaking the glass in half as it lodged further inside his skin.
My body dropped to the ground, seeing the black strings of venom take over my body once more.
"I SHOULD HAVE KILLED YOU!" Otto roared, lunging for me as he tried to stop the gushing fountain of blood spewing out of his neck.
"Yeah, you should have."
By now the entire symbiote had taken over my body as I caught his metal arms in my hands, some tentacles coming out and catching the other two. I ripped the greatest thing I had ever created apart till it was nothing but scrapes. Picking up Octavius wounded and dying body in my hands and threw him at the machine housing the tesseract.
The roof shook as the machine blew up in a large puff of smoke.
Hello y/n.
"Who are you?" I fell on my ass as I saw an alien head state straight at me with pure white eyes and slimy teeth.
I'm Venom.
"Why am I speaking to you now?"
I've grown to like you.
The symbiotes tongue licked my face as I trail of slim rolled down my cheek.
"You're killing me from the inside. Is that true?"
The alien head nodded.
Yes but I can also save you. I can't live without you and you can't live without me.
"Sounds like I don't have much choice in the matter." I huffed.
You don't.
"Y/n? Y/n where are you?" Nat called out for me.
Keep her. She's a good one.
The symbiotes head disappeared inside of me as if it was never out in the first place.
"Over here!" I called back, seeing team alpha run towards me.
"Where's the doctor?" Steve asked looking around.
"Dead." I replied.
"You did good kid." Tony patted my back, "Let's go get shawarma, on me."
I laughed, nodded my head as Tony and Steve walked a little further away from Natasha and I.
"You injected the symbiote in your veins..." Her bruised jaw clenched.
I shook my head no, pushing a strand of hair out of her face revealing a rather deep cut.
"Doc had a sample left and injected it in me. He thought that you would kill me in return."
"The chances of you surviving this time are-" her sea green eyes welled up with tears as she looked down at the ground.
Lifting her chin up with my finger, I gave her a small smile, "Hey, I'm not going anywhere. I can.. talk.. to this thing now. It heals me."
"So this thing... it's apart of you now?"
I nodded, sighing through my nose, "Yeah, it seems that way. Still want to marry me?"
Nat smiled broadly, leaning in to kiss me softly and lovingly, "I wouldn't have it any other way."
"Good, because I wouldn't want Banner thinking he has a chance." I joked, pulling her body into my side.
"You guys coming?!" Clint yelled.
"Yeah one sec!" Natasha yelled back.
"After this, how about you and me go get married. Just the two of us." Nat bit her bottom lip, batting her eyelashes at me.
"You don't want Clint there?" I asked incredulously, knowing bird boy was her best friend.
"Mhmmm he can come to the reception. I just want to spend a few weeks with you alone without any missions or saving the world from evil mentors." She chuckled.
"I couldn't agree more."

Nanocultivation Chronicles: Trials of Lilijoy
When the singularity occurred, humanity was not invited. Join Lilijoy in an exploration of what remains, in a post-post-apocalyptic world where clans feud over the technology that allows them to upgrade their minds and bodies. The gamelit and xianxia elements are uncovered at a slow pace. ******************************** Notes: If you are looking for lots of fast moving action right away, this story may not be for you. There is some violence that is visceral and realistic early on. Some things are not what they appear to be. Character viewpoint narration is not always reliable. Tropes are cherished, subverted, and then cherished again. Science is used, occasionally misused, but (hopefully) never abused. This story assumes that humans have the ability to impact the environment on a global scale. Other tropes and tags beyond those previously noted include: Young MC, Mystery, System Building, Philosophical Taoism, Gender Ignorance, Science Fantasy, Fantasy Academy, Training from Hell, Dualism, Crafting, Magic, Mild Mind Control, Scientific Terms and Concepts, Computer Overlord Certain contemporary companies, governments and cultural identities are fictionalized and imagined in a future setting. There is no sex, and almost no romance. Updating Sunday, Thursday until further notice.
