"Hyung please you have to help me this time. Just help Jungkook save his company and I'll not pester you anymore. I'll not even ask you to help me find evidence against Mr. Kim. Please. I beg of you. This company is Jungkook's dream. We have to help him."
"Tae I'll help you. Don't worry. But you'll have to show me the files related to this deal and don't tell Jungkook about it."
"Are you sure hyung? Will it help?"
"Tae trust me on this. I have to see the files before I can do anything else."
"Ok then. Seojun hyung come to the Jeon mansion tomorrow and look into the files. We have to be quick and do it before the trial."
"I'll be there."
A loud sob left Jungkook's mouth as soon as the recording ended. He pulled his hair in frustration. "I b....blamed him for everything. I l....left him all alone that too when all he did was sac....sacrifice for me." He stuttered. His heart was breaking for his lover. A pure person who got ruined by this world's cruelty.
"Why did you betray him Seojun? WHY?" This time it was Jimin. He really wanted to kill the man infront of him. "You see her." Seojun pointed towards the little girl who waved at Jimin with a big smile on her face. The child was unaware of the tension in the air. "She doesn't have a mother. Just me. She's my life Jimin and I can even kill to keep her safe. You all can think whatever you want to think about me. I don't care. I killed my conscience everyday just to ensure that my daughter is safe from all this mess. Han-Gyoel is not a human. He is a devil and I did everything I could to keep him away from her. I know I was wrong but that was the only thing I could do. I'm not as strong as you."

Nobody could say anything anymore. Seojun was a victim too. They couldn't blame him for being a good father. "I didn't want to betray Taehyung." The man continued. "Instead I had started helping him a little. These past months I told him everything that was happening inside the Kim Corporation. During those conversations I had with Taehyung he told me about the company being your's. Then one day that Han-Gyoel heard me talking to Tae. He kidnapped my daughter immediatly Jungkook. I had no other option than to tell him everything. He planned all this just to separate you two. I was used as the goat. My daughter was released today only after the plan was successful. I felt so guilty that I couldn't even face her so I decided to follow you and tell you everything. I was on my way when Han-Gyoel sent his men to kill us. Luckily I was able to fight them and come this far. And now I'm sitting here telling you everything."
"Why is Han-Gyoel doing that to Taehyung?" Han-na asked. Her voice was heavy with emotions. She felt heartbroken for the boy she had once considered a part of her family. She couldn't even imagine what Taehyung must have gone through.
"Kim Corporation belongs to Taehyung." Seojun revealed. "Han-Gyoel had married Taehyung's mother, Kim Soomin for her money and property. She was naive and pure just like her son. She believed every lie that monster told her but one day she came to know everything. Han-Gyoel was building his mafia behind her back and she couldn't take it. Soomin filed a divorce but that man manipulated her again. She was in love and it was easy to fool her. That monster started to slowly poison her. Everyone thought that she was getting ill. We all thought she had cancer but she saw him giving her poison one day. She even tried to do something but it was too late. Her organs were already damaged." He took a deep breath gulping down his tears and continued.

"She was not a fool though. She named every property under Taehyung. Han-Gyoel never told anyone about it but he was burning inside. He was jealous of Taehyung. A twelve year old boy who had lost his mother. That man controlled him for years until he found you Jungkook. He was so happy those days. But Han-Gyoel couldn't see him that way. He took away everything from him a...again." Seojun broke down this time. He was feeling extremely guilty. The feeling was suffocating him. It was killing him from inside.
Jungkook on the other hand wiped his tears and stood up. "Get the cars ready. We are going back right now." He instructed the guards standing near the door. "Seojun hyung I don't blame you. You did everything to save your daughter and now I'll save both of you. I'm so thankful to you for telling us everything. Come with us to the Jeon mansion. I'll call a doctor and treat your wounds there. Your daughter will be safe. You will be safe." He said looking at the crying man.
"Thank you Jungkook. Thank you so much." Seojun fell down on his knees and cried in relief. "Thank you hyung. I'll be able to save my relationship because of you." Jungkook retorted.
He looked at the others in the room. "I'll never let that idiot away from my eyes. I'll take him in my embrace and never let him go. He has suffered enough. Let's give him the love he deserves." Everyone nodded. They wanted to make things right. They were ready to do anything for Taehyung now.
Jungkook walked towards his mother and gently took his son in his own arms. He kissed the baby on his forehead who was intently staring back at him. The ravenette smiled with tears flowing freely from his eyes.
"Let's go back and celebrate Christmas with your Appa. With my love. My world."

A note from the Author: PLEASE leave a review and alert me of any plot holes, weak portions, and anything else. I am in desperate need of beta readers and feedback. I wrote this around the new year, 2020. It's about 40k words and the first in a planned series that follows Gar "Alany" Darron and his agency of detectives as they track missing persons in the city of Throne. I have the sequel planned but not written. Once this one is completely uploaded, I'll be uploading another, unrelated series that as of right now is roughly 160k words long, and somewhere in there, I'll write the sequel to Frame of Mind. I plan to go back and forth between the two series for the foreseeable future. Thanks for reading.
