Chapter-XIII
January 2nd-1:36pm
"Thank you all for this emergency meeting." General Greek said as he stood before a mass amount of marines, spec ops, and Templars.
"Now as you all know, the colony of Venus has become overrun with a new form of hybrids, as well a new...bug-like enemy. Now seeing as we have no idea what these hostiles are, we have to our allies, the Klaxians for information on this new enemy type."
As he said this, he pushed a button on a hologram projector. When he did this, a Klaxian official popped up from the projection. He had shiny white armor, and he spoke in a deep tone, and he was adept at the English language.
"Greetings humans." He said as he gave a slight bow. "As your general said, you have been facing new enemies. We would send forces to help, but we are currently occupied in stopping a civil war from erupting." He turned around to activate a computer console for a moment.
"Now these creatures are not normal hybrids, they are a reanimated form caused by these life forms."
He brought up a picture of the bug-like creatures.
"Now these creatures are an ancient life form from hundreds of years ago called the Galarians. These creatures must have been hiding on Venus in secrecy all this time."
The general looked surprised as the Klaxian general said these words.
"Thank you for your help." General Greek said as he switched the hologram off.
"There you have it." Then general said. "Any questions?"
"What about the colony on Venus?" Christopher asked the general.
"We don't exactly know yet." The general said. "Other generals are suggesting we glass it."
"G-glass it...?" Nathan said. "As in, destroy it?" He finished nervously.

Chapter-XIV
January 2nd-2:11pm
After the meeting, Chris approached general Greek with a question.
"General Greek." Chris started. "I have a team member still somewhere on Venus."
"I'm sorry to hear that son." The general said coldly.
"But general, with all due respect, I-"
The general interrupted Chris's question.
"Son, look. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Venus has been overrun the Galarians. Your teammate is most likely dead."
Chris stated at the floor.
"It's hard, but accept it." General Greek said. "Now, I have an assignment for your team Captain Christopher." The general continued as he handed Chris a yellow file folder.
"Yes general." He said with a sigh.
"Russia has something big planned. We don't know what, but they've been shooting down our satellites so we don't have any view on what they're doing." We want you to infiltrate the small Russian base on that map. And gather any useful intel that you can find."
"We'll get it done general." Christopher said as he went to brief his remaining sugar in the mission ahead.

Chapter-XV
January 2nd-4:00pm
As Chris and his team were on the edge of Russian airspace when Chris began to give them his speech that he gave before every combat mission.
"Okay team. Let do this for Stephanie!" Chris said, hoping to inspire his team.
Nathan and Trinity gave Christopher a slight look of hope, even though they were still mourning the loss of their teammate.
"This is the drop zone commander." Nathan said as he prepared his parachute for launch.
Then, in unison, Christopher, Trinity, and Nathan all jumped out of their dropship and plummeted toward the earth below them.
Not a moment too late, all three of them opened their parachutes to break their deadly fall. As they hit the ground, the had their weapons out and trained in all directions.

As they trekked through the somewhat dry desert, they came to an open clearing. Suddenly, Trinity noticed something.
"Commander, we have hostiles." She said, looking through her sniper rifles'a scope.
"Get down." Chris ordered, ducking down. "Trinity, how many so we have?"
"Seven." She said, still looking through her rifle scope. "Two on the roof, the rest are scattered around the front of the base. Some are escorting a black box."
"So how are we gonna tackle this?" Nathan asked Chris.
"I can stay back and snipe while you two go and clear them out." Trinity suggested.
"Go idea. Lets go." Chris said.
As Chris and Nathan ran down to the base and took cover behind two pillars, they waited for Trinity to get into position.
"On three." Chris said as he counted with his hands.
When he reached three , he tossed a flash bang out from cover and Nathan followed Chris' lead.
Soon, the desert was in a haze of billet smoke, screams if dying soldiers, and blood. As Chris and Nathan finished the Russians off on the ground, Trinity fired on the Russians on the roof. As the two soldiers hit the ground, dead, Trinity met Chris and Nathan in the field.
"Well, what do we have here?" Nathan said, pointing to the black box.
"Let's see." Chris said, opening the box.
"What the hell..." Trinity said.
Before them, in the box was the body of a Galarian.

Glass Cannon
Mortal Coil is the best VRMMO in the market with millions of people playing it! In this game, two best friends made a bet with each other. Whoever becomes the #1 ranked would win. Such a simple bet, but to them, it was like a declaration of war. Being two of the most stubborn individuals on the planet that saw loss as a personal offense, they made this last bet before cutting off their friendship due to some... complicated matters(Don't worry It'll get explained in the book). The problem was, that one was super talented at the game, and the other was super shit. This story revolves around that player. No, not the talented one, the shit one. Hated by many for his rather "uncouth" strategies (one of which included hitting a guy in the back of the head with a wooden board, stealing all his stuff and leaving him stark naked in the middle of the woods), his name is Jack. Oh, and did I mention he's a min-Maxed for health which drives people insane? Unfortunately, as luck would have it, he stumbles upon the worst possible hidden class for him. Warrior of Glass. A class with insanely high attack power... and insanely low HP. He's also given a quest to retrieve a sword in the middle of the Ashen Forest (lovingly nicknamed "Suicide Woods" by the players) and another quest to kill 7 insanely powerful demon lords that roam the lands so he can fulfill his predecessor's legacy. Now, armed only with a veeery high damage output, an unbendable will of steel and his almost nonexistent sense of guilt (emphasis on almost), he still aims to become the #1 player. This time, with some serious handicaps.
