Being busy and being in this type of relationship can present some difficulty because your little demands time and attention from you. On this topic, there are only a few pieces of advice to offer.

-Manage your time: as a student, you might have a lot of work to do outside of school. It's a good idea to try and get as much of it done at school without overworking yourself. Another great time is when your little is away or doesn't need you for the time being. This also leaves more time to spend with him/her.

-Be as present as possible: It isn't always possible to get your work done before your little may need you or you want to spend time with them. That's okay. Just be as present as you can. What this means is if you're working on something but your little needs you badly, just spend time with them while doing your work. Let them color while you work or cuddle you. They'll appreciate the attention even if it's split.

-Don't put a world of pressure on yourself to be with your little all the time: sometimes life happens, and you have to say you have to work or do things. As long as it's not a constant mood where you no longer have or desire to spend any time with and for your little, that's totally okay. Caregivers have to take care of themselves too.
