We had just gotten back from our honeymoon and were unloading the car. Today was Oakley's first birthday. Hard to believe that one year ago, I gave birth to a baby girl. A beautiful blue eyed baby girl. "Mom, we're home. Where's my baby girl?" My mom walked up to the front door, handing Oakley to me. "I missed you so much, baby. Happy first birthday!" Keegan followed behind me, taking Oakley from my arms. "Happy first birthday baby girl! Daddy loves you so much." I then took Oakley from him and took her upstairs. I sat her on the floor on a blanket, pulling out my phone and taking a picture. I opened the instagram app and captioned it: 🙏🏼❤️

I shut my phone off and picked Oakley up to lay her in her crib. "Nap time. Maybe after you wake up, we can have cake and ice cream." I laid Oakley in her crib and kissed her forehead. I walked across the room to shut the door and I then walked downstairs. "Is she laying down?" "Yeah. Where's my mom?" "Oh, she had to leave. She said to tell you she loves you and she'll see you later." "Why'd she leave?" "She said your sister had something to tell her. I don't really know." "Oh." I stepped off the last step and walked over to the couch. "Keegan?" "Yes?" "What if I told you that there's a possibility I'm pregnant?" "Wait, are you?" "I'm not sure, but I think so." "Well, I'd be happy that our family is growing." "You wouldn't be upset?" "Not at all. After all the complications we've had with pregnancies, it'd be a miracle. But what makes you think you're pregnant?" "I got sick when we got home and I never get sick. Only when I'm pregnant." "Well, do you wanna make an appointment?" "Yes. I'll make one for tomorrow." "But if you were pregnant wouldn't it be to early to tell?" "They're doctors, Keegan. They can do anything." "Ok, well I guess make an appointment for tomorrow then." "Will you come with me?" "Of course. We can drop Oakley off with your mom if you want." "Yeah. I'm gonna go lay down. You coming?" "Nah. I think I'll stay down here." "Ok. I love you." "I love you too, T." I got up off the couch and walked back upstairs. If I'm pregnant again, maybe I can have two successful pregnancies.
