GOD WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME! I HAD THE PERFECT GIRL AND I FAILED TO KEEP HER! UGHHHH. I grab the bucket of ice from the hotel cabinet and throw it at the wall. "AGHHH!" I scream and scream until the people next door finally send a complaint to the front desk. But then I remember, Troian never called off the engagement and never broke up with me. Smiling I change into jeans and t-shirt before heading out the door. I jog to the little store in the hotel to pick up some flowers for her before heading to her hotel room.

Before knocking I hear Lucy, "Keegan's going to love it." I hear the door opening and I hide behind a crook. After making sure Lucy left I knocked on the door.

I hear a knock on the door and I walk across the room to open it. "Oh Patrick. Hi," I say surprised. He hands me a bouquet of flowers and asks if he can come in. "Uh, of course," I slowly walk back and close the closet door that held my outfit for dinner with Keegan. He sits on my bed as I place the flowers on the desk. "So I know you called off the wedding," he starts. "Yeah," I nod slowly. "But we're still engaged... and dating," he says matter of factly.

"Yes, and," I say impatiently. "Do you want to go on a date? Rekindle the fire?" he asks expectedly. "Tonight?" I ask nervously. "Yeah. We can check out of the hotel and drop our stuff at home before going to that Italian place you love," he says with hope in his eyes. "Uh, maybe not tonight. It's been a dramatic day I think I'm just gonna get some rest," I lie.

"Oh ok," I can tell he doesn't buy it. He gets up and walks to the door before opening it. Before he can walk out the door he looks back, "Have fun with Keegan." And with that he slams the door. Sighing I plop down on the bed and manage to open the closest door with my foot. I get up groaning and examine the outfit I laid out. A white dress with black feather-like decals that has a black peter pan collar and a thin black belt at the waist. I take my hair out of the braid I had thrown it in earlier to reveal waves in my hair and sigh. I touch the tiny ripples running through the middle of the dress and throw on some black tights.

I hear a knock and sigh. Not Patrick again. I open the door and am shocked to see Keegan. "Oh! Keegs you're early!" He smiles as I look at his red shirt with thin black stripes running across and his signature jeans. "Uh let's go!" I slip into my black heels and grab my purse filled with the necessities. He puts his hand on his waist to form a triangle and I slip my arm through the crook, "What a gentleman." We both laugh and throw our heads back. 

"So I was thinking of going to that Italian place you love," Keegan suggests. "Sounds good!" I say thinking of what Patrick said to me. He opens the passenger door of his car for me, "Oh wow! I guess today is just a gentleman day for you." He laughs, "Real funny, Troi." He closes the door and gets into the drivers seat. I turn to face him, "So what's up with your love life?" He backs out of his parking spot and steers his way onto the highway.

"Well, I actually met this girl. Chuck Grant," he says, "We're kind of dating, but I'm not sure. You girls can be quite confusing." "You're--you're dat--dating someone?" I ask as calm as possible. "Yeah," he says slowly, "Hey, are you okay?""Yeah why wouldn't I be," I say, "Better not mess it up with her." Keegan rolls his eyes, "I could never mess up a relationship. I mean look at me." "Wow real humble there Keegs," I laugh and whip out my phone.
