*Lucy's POV*

Keegan and I were talking about out "relationship". Now that Ian broke up with Chloe, I might have a chance, probably not.

"This is pretend Keegan, they are going to find out that we weren't actually dating" I say, but right as I do I regret it. I hear someone walk behind me.

"What?" The person says. I turn around and see an angry Ian and Troian.

"Ian, Troian, Hi.." I say softly.

"Do you guys want to explain to us about your "relationship" Troian states.

"Keegan....?" I look at him and nudge him with my elbow.

"Um look. Lucy over heard that Ian was going to break up with her. She came crying to me, I didn't know that Troian stopped loving me until she showed up t my house saying that she didn't love me anymore. We cried for days, we only had each other, we got so mad at you we pretended to date and rub it in your faces. I wanted to get back with Troian and Lucy was fine with that, until we saw Ian with Chloe. I felt so bad for Lucy that i stayed with her until you guys broke up because she didn't deserve to get punished by you. First you break up with her because you don't believe her and then you cheat on her when she said she wasn't lying. You don't deserve someone like Lucy! She's to good for you!" Keegan starts to yell at the last part. A tear rolls down my cheek and so does Ian's.

"Lucy, I'm so-" Ian try's to say.

"No more excuses Ian" Keegan cuts him off.

"Keegan just let him ex-" Troian says but Keegan cuts her off too.

"We're leaving" Keegan grabs my hand and we walk away and call a cab.

"You didn't have to do that Keegan" I say as we are waiting for the cab.

"Yes I did, he doesn't deserve you and your love. He cheated and didn't believe you. I had to do something"

"Well thank you, Keegan. Really thank you for being a bestfriend"

"You're welcome" He says and smiles. I smile back and the cab pulls up and we hop in.

"Ian's POV"

Wow, Keegan snapped. I deserved it though, everything he said was true. I don't deserve Lucy of her love. Troian and I walk back to the picnic area and we start cleaning up.

"That was intense" I say and I break the silent.

"Yeah, Keegan shouldn't have yelled"

"He was right, about everything"

"That doesn't mean you're a bad person, everyone makes mistakes Ian, we all do" Troian tries to make me feel better.

"Thanks Tro" We pile all the stuff in her car.

"No problem Ian"

"I just wished that I can go back, you know. I wish that I didn't break up with Lucy. I should've believe her from the start.

I lost everything. Her trust, her love, I even lost her"

"You might've lost her but you haven't lost me. We're still bestfriends Ian" Troian says.

"We are" I smile.

We get into her car and she pulls into my drive way.

"Thanks! I'll see you at work tomorrow"

"Bye Ian, See ya tomorrow" She waves and pulls out. Tomorrow. Lucy and Keegan will probably call in sick. If they don't, tomorrow will be one awkward day.
