Hmmm, I have a long way to go. I really want to complete this bucket list. I hope I can.

I enter the elevator with a sigh and press the button to the first floor. I just finished working out in the new gyn at the basement floor of my house. I'm so exhausting.

I enter Adam's sitting room and see him reading a book.

"Hi." I greet.

He looks at me. "Hey."

"How is your head?"

He looks surprise and then replies. "I'm good now. I guess I just needed some rest."

I nod. "Glad to hear that. Did Raf tell you what time they are coming?"

"No."

"Okay." I nod. "I want to show you something." I add nervously.

"What?"

"You'll see." I grin. "It's in the entrance hall."

He stands up and then comes over to me and we walk to the entrance hall together.

"What's this?" He asks.

It's the gift I got him from Italy. The jewellery I met advised me to get my husband something based on the things he likes. Adam said that he likes horses and horseback riding so I mer this guy who sells these big fancy horses.

"It's for you. I met this British guy in Italy and he sold it to me." I tell him.

He releases me and walks over to the horse to take a closer look.

I go on. "It's made with over eighty-two thousand Swarovski crystals. Do you like it?"

"Yes, I do. It is amazing."

I sigh in relief. "Thank God. I was really nervous when I was getting it but I know you said that you liked horses."

"I do, hank you."

I smile. "You're welcome, where are you going to keep it?"

"In my office." He replies.

I nod. "It will look great in your office."

"Yes." He agrees. "I really like it. Thank you."

I smile one more time then head to the maids' lounge room. The door is open so I just go inside and see Marina and Nina watching the TV.

"Hello."

Marina smiles at me. "Mrs, Amelia, do you need something?"

"Yes, do you please know what Adam's favourite food is?"

"Mr Black likes lasagna, anything with cheese really and sweet food." She replies.

Sweet food? I chuckle. "Alright, thanks."

"So this is my wife, Serena." Rafael says.

"Hiii." She squeals and pulls me into a hug.

Serena is mixed and she's really pretty. She is skinny in a supermodel kind of way. Her hair looks sleek and curly but she has it done in a nice messy bun.

"Hey." I hug her back.

She pulls back and tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. "It's so nice to meet you." She says with a British accent.

"Nice to meet you too." I smile.

She grins and claps her hands together. "Gosh! This house is so beautiful."

We are outside at the golf course. The only person that are here are Chase, Tyler then now, Serena and Rafael.

Emily, Jas, Chloe and Jacob are in Chicago for a Drake concert. I wasn't really up for it so I decided not to go with them. Nicole and Camilla also have this fashion thing so they couldn't go as well while Tyler just doesn't like Drake.

Colton Adams however, is on his plane to The Netherlands where Liam, Brian, Rob and Ian are. Apparently they got tired of Spain so they decided to go there.

I look at Adam who is wearing all white and fuck! He looks amazing. His white polo shirt looks perfect on him. He has paired it with white golf pants and white sneakers.

Our eyes meet and I instantly look away.

Twenty minutes later, Nicole, Camilla and Nick arrived. Chase said that Nathan is in LA with his girlfriend.

"So Nick, you're single?" I ask him while we're sitting on the grass.

He flashes me a grin. "Yeah, babe. Are you interested?"

I laugh and show him my ring.

He chuckles. "My mother keeps setting me up with girls that I'm not interested in. It's very annoying."

"Are your parents from Bluefall?"

He shakes his head. "New York. They moved here after they got married."

"That's cool. I love New York."

"We should go together sometime. I will take you to my favourite pizza place."

"I'd like that."

"So what's going on with you?"

"Just school." I shrug.

He rolls his eyes. "Boring."

"I also got an email that from Louis Vuitton asking me to be their brand ambassador." I share.

My mum said something about it yesterday but I didn't know what she was talking about. This morning when I was checking through my emails, I saw the it.

He widens his eyes, smiling. "That's great, congratulations."

"Thank you. I'm so excited." I smile. "I haven't told Adam though."

"I'm sure he knows."

"He seems to know everything, doesn't he?" I say with an eye roll and Nick chuckles.

"Amelia! Come and see this" Tyler calls so I stand up and run over to him.

Nicole joins us, wrapping an arm around my shoulder. "It's not enough that Adam Black is so fucking hot, his friends have to be as well?"

I bite my lip. "Tell me about it."

"I mean, have you seen Chase? He defines sexiness." She whispers.

"You're right, Nicole but if Adam is in the room, it's hard for me to focus on other guys." I smirk.

She gives me a look. "First of all, we are not in a room and secondly, when are you going to admit that you like him?"

"What are you talking about?"

"You like Adam." She declares.

"No, I don't."

She gives me a look.

I roll my eyes . "I like him as a person not romantically. I don't even know him that much."

"But do you think there is a possibility?" She asks in a more serious note.

I look over to where Adam is standing with Camilla. She has known him longer than I have because she dated Liam for a year and a half before he and I dated.

"I mean, it's hard for me to say." I brush my hair from my face. "He has this effect on me. I've never felt the way I do around him with any other guy. But I think it's because he is so different and that there is so much to him that his letting out."

"Oh my God. You like him."

"No. I'm just really interested in him. I want to get to know him. I want to know what is behind all that." I nudge my head towards him.

"Are you two done?" Tyler asks in a bored tone.

"Yes." I grin at him. "What do you wanna show me?"

"It's the pictures of our new house. Everything is ready."

"Oh, wow." I take his phone and start looking at the pictures.

The house looks really gorgeous. Jacob and Ty decided to hire an interior designer after-all and she really did an awesome job.

"Guys, let's start the game!" Nick claps his hands together.

"If we're doing teams, I'm on Adam's. He's the best player, right?" I announce.

I saw Adam practicing earlier and he seems to be a pro. I suck so the best thing to do is be on the best player's team.

"No, Raf is." Chase answers.

"Well, then I'm on Raf's team."

In a matter of seconds, I feel two hands on my waist and lips pressed to my ear. "You're choosing him over me?" Adam whispers in a sexy voice that does things to my body.

Where did he come from?

"Um...." I clear my throat then turn around to face him. His face is so beautiful.

"I'm disappointed, wife." He says with a playful intensity in his eyes.

"I'm not choosing him over him." I grin.

"Right, you already have."

I wrap my hand around his shoulders. "No, it's just for the game."

"Whatever." He says with an eye roll and I chuckle.

"That's a very beautiful vase." Serene comments looking at the three million dollar Chinese vase in the dining room.

"Thanks, my mother gave it to me as a wedding gift." I tell her with a smile.

"Aww." She says softly.

"My mum told me that your mum is hosting a soirée this Wednesday. Are you going?" Camilla asks me.

I shake my head. "No, it's just for her friends and even if it wasn't, I can't go because I have so much going on."

"We're going into guests week at Hardwood, right?" Nicole says.

My eyes widen. "Right."

Guests week is the week when the university invites famous people from various fields for each of the courses that are offered there to give us lectures. Last year, at the Architecture department we had George J. Efstathio, who is one of the architects that designed the Burj Khalifa, Rem Koolhaas who is also very talented and many more.

The biggest guest we've had is Bill Gates. He visited the Business department as well as the Computer department

"Adam and I got invited as guests." Chase shares with a smile and my eyes instantly widen.

"That's awesome." Nicole states smiling at him. "But I'm sure you guys are going to visit the business or the engineering departments, right?"

"Yes and I think Nathan is visiting hotel management." Chase adds.

"You might see him then, Ty." Camilla says.

"Yeah." Tyler says and she turns her attention to Nicole. "I wonder who's going to our class, Nicole."

"I'm going to go check on the food."

Five minutes later, I come back to the dining room with Nina. I have the salad bowl in my hand while she's holding the lasagna.

We drop the food on the table and I take a seat.

"It smells so good." Tyler comments. "What'd you make?"

I grin. "Lasagna."

Adam snaps his head up and looks at me. "My favourite." He says.

"I know." I wink at him.

"Ahhh, you really know the way to your man's heart." Chase grins.

I chuckle. "Too bad I didn't make a chocolate dessert."

"I'm sure what ever you make will be lovely." Nick says then looks at Chase. "Dude, her food is so fucking good."

"Okay then, I can't wait to try it." Chase says.

Everyone starts serving themselves. Camilla only puts the salad on her plate cause she's on a diet.

"Who taught you how to cook, Amelia?" Serena asks.

"I attended a culinary school in Paris when I was fourteen."

"So you're a chef?"

"Yes."

"Babe, you should go there as well." Rafael suggests.

She glares at him. "Stop. You know how much I hate cooking."

"Why are you so quiet?" I ask Adam.

"I don't have anything to say." He glares at me.

Okay. Is he angry at me or something?

"Do you like the food?" I ask then quickly add, "Tell me truth."

"You don't have to worry about Adam lying to ever, Amelia." Chase says. "He never lies."

"That's good to hear." I smile then look at Adam.

"It's delicious." He says softly.

"Really?" I ask.

"Yes, it's so damn delicious. I think I'm going to move to this house." Nick says and I chuckle.

He likes flattering me.

Nina starts going around serving everyone drinks.

"Nice shirt, Mr Black." She comments as she stands in front of Adam.

The room suddenly goes quiet.

My eyes snap to her then I look at Adam who doesn't say anything but his eyebrows are drawn together.

I feel like every eye in the room is on me except his. It's like they are all waiting for me to react.

I know that Nina has a crush on Adam but it has never bothered me because come on, he's hot. I can't really blame her and besides, she only comes in twice a week.

But this time, she has crossed a line.

I watch her leave the room with a frown.

"Excuse me." I say then leave the dining room, quickly following her behind.

"Nina, can I talk to you for a sec?"

She turns around. "Sure, Mrs Black." She smiles.

We have four maids in this house, Brenda, Nina, Talia and Marina and three butlers whose names I do not know.

Brenda and Marina are older women while Talia is just nineteen. Nina is like twenty seven years old. She is even older than Adam. I don't want to be mean or anything but what she did was really disrespectful.

I cross my arms over my chest. "How long have you been working for Adam?"

"Two years." She replies.

I nod. "I'm sorry to say this but you're fired."

Her eyes widen. "What?"

"Nina, you were flirting with Adam right in front of our guests. That is just wrong. This is not the first time you've done something like that. You have done it several times in front of me and I have let it slide."

"Mrs Bla-"

I raise a finger. "Let me finish. Flirting with Adam in front our guests shows that you have no respect for me nor for him either. Adam clearly gets uncomfortable every time you do that and you just keep on doing it."

Adam said that I needed to take charge. This is my house. Just because I'm young doesn't mean that I should be disrespected.

"I'm sorry, Mrs Black. It was just harmless flirting. I would never try to make a move on him or anything." Nina says.

I sigh. "Yes but even the harmless flirting is wrong. He is your boss and he has a wife."

"With all due respect, I know that you and Mr Black are not really together."

"I know that you know that but it doesn't give you the right to disrespect me."

"I'm sorry. I promise it won't happen again. Please don't fire me." She pleads.

"Fine. This is your first and last warning."

"I understand. Thank you, Mrs Black."

I give her a nod then go back to the dining.

I sit back on my chair then look at Serena and Rafael. "So how did you guys meet?"

"Adam and I went to high school together and since he and Rafael been friends forever, We met at a nightclub on his twenty second birthday."

"Was it love at first sight?" Nicole asks her with a grin.

"Not really."

"For me it was." Raf says giving her a soft look.

And I find myself wishing for someone that would look at me that way.

"Sisters, it is my pleasure to announce that this year, we will be having an after the ball fundraiser." Shayla Prentice says.

Everyone starts clapping and smiling.

"We all spend a lot of money buying dresses, jewellery and glamming up for the ball. This fundraiser is important so that we can share what we have with those in need. Most people never wear their dresses again. It would be awesome to donate them and other things." She continues.

So Adam asked Leah to sign me up as a member of the Blossom Sisters Club. Apparently it is one of my obligations as a 'wife' to be a member.

It's Monday. I spent four hours at Hardwood and then, I was practically forced to come to this thing.

The club is for young socialite wives of Bluefall. Leah said that everyone here is under the age of thirty and married to a rich person.

This is the last place that I would picture myself going to. My mum however loves things like this. She was excited when I told her that I'm joining.

But the truth is, I am sitting with a bunch of bitches.

Yes, I admire their passion for charity and I will of course take a part in it but since I arrived, they have all being throwing me nasty looks.

I don't even know any of them. The only person I recognise is Simone Fernandez. The girl that I met in Italy with Adam. He said she's his friend and she and I spoke in Italy but now, she is pretending like I'm not even here.

"So when is the fundraiser?" One of the girls asks.

"Next weekend. I know it's going to be hard to find a venue in such a short notice but it needs to be next weekend." Shayla replies.

Shayla is the chairlady and she is the person that wanted me to join. She is the only person that was nice to me when I came in.

We are at a conference room in one of the women's husband's family hotel. I'm bored to death, I wish I could run home.

"Are we giving it a theme?"

"I just want it to be an outdoorsy kind of thing like a fair. We can bake some goods and sell them, auction stuff and get people to donate." Shayla answers.

"Where will all the money be going to?"

"I have three foundations in mind. Tulip Diabetes Foundation, Light Foundation which is for kids with Cystic Fibrosis and of course, HOPE. I want us to impress the council."

A couple of agreements chorus around the room.

"I would like to donate a hundred and fifty dollars." Simone suddenly announces with an arrogant smile on her face.

"That's awesome, Simone."

"Gosh, you are so generous."

"That would we be lovely." Says Shayla then looks around. "Ladies." She says then everyone starts applauding Simone.

Gosh, I think I'm going to die.

I take off my heels with a sigh as I enter my house. "Is Adam home?" I ask one of the butlers who is passing by, holding a pile of towels.

"Not yes, Mrs Black." He replies and I nod.

I'm so hungry and tired. I only ate a banana during lunch at Hardwood today.

My phone starts ringing and I check the caller. It's Jasmine so I answer it.

"Amelia." She says in a weird tone.

"Hey, Jas, what's up?"

"There's a rumour about you going around and it's pretty bad." She says.

I close my eyes. Fuck! This is just what I need.
