After being in the locker room with kenma, I was ready for action. If he wasn't ready to go yet, then I would have to find someone for the mean time.
I decided to go sit back by kageyama and sugawara since they still weren't playing.
But as I sat down next to them, coach ukai came up next to us.
"Mind if I watch from here"? He asked us as we shook our heads.
Oh yes. Here it is.
Coach ukai sat down beside me on my right, with the other two boys to my left.
and I couldn't be any happier.
"Hi coach". I sort of whispered to him.
He kept his eyes straight ahead and slouched in his seat. Damn- the way he looked now made it hard to resist myself.
He was wearing a tight black shirt, loose black warm ups and a watch on his wrist.
He had his hair pushed back with a headband but a few pieces managed to fall perfectly onto his face.
"Y/n". He greeted.
I was happy he remembered my name.
"You almost look like one of the players". I said.
He sort of smiled and put his elbow on the arm rest, leaning his head on his hand.
"Oh do I"? He asked sarcastically.
"Mhm". I nodded back, copying his body language.
"well I'm not that young". He stated.
What should I say?
I don't know what type of girl he likes.
But I think I should find out.
"Do a lot of people get you confused with a teenager"? I asked him.
He shrugged. "A good amount". He responded.
"Well doesn't it flatter you that people think you're so young"? I questioned.
"Mm.. I don't know about flatter- it's not like I mind being my age". He said.
He was still staring at the games ahead, it's like he refused to look at me.

Kageyama and sugawara weren't even paying attention to me anymore, which is weird considering how I... nevermind.
"Oh so you like being older"? I smiled.
"Old? Woah wait a minute- I'm not THAT old.. I'm barely learning about life". He laughed.
"You're not that old, I agree". I smiled wider.
It's like he was spelling it out.
He seemed to realize that I was gaining hope.
"Well I mean no, I am old to YOU". He revisited his previous statement.
"You're not that old to me". I said leaning further onto my arm rest towards him.
"What's old to you"? He asked me.
Now he was actually looking at me.
"Mmm... probably 30 is my limit, but they have to be super hot".
"WOAH". He nervously laughed as he looked around frantically. "I didn't really- mean it that way". He said trying to hush my talking about hot older men.
"Oh- I thought you did". I lied as I grinned inside.
"No- of course not". He whispered.
"Now that you know what's old to me, tell me what's young for you". I crossed my legs.
"20". He instantly said shutting me down.
"Haven't you heard 18 is the new 20"? I joked.
He was still looking around making sure no one heard me.
"Not the same". He responded.
"Some people are mature you know". I stated.
"That's just what pervs say to younger girls". He rebuttled.
"You're right. But when the girl says it- it's different, sometimes you're ready for things ahead of your time". I concluded.
He licked his bottom lip and then covered his mouth with his hand.
Was he blushing?
"Can I tell you a secret". I whispered.
He looked at me from the corner of his eye, sighed, and then nodded.
"I have a crush on mr takeda". I smiled.

His face lit up red and he turned away completely.
"Why would you say that"?
"He's so cute though". I giggled.
"No he's not.. he's way too old for you". Ukai told me.
I shook my head.
"23 is far from old, and plus, I think maybe he likes me too". I pressured a reaction from him.
He sighed again.
"It's all in your head". He said.
"No way- I can tell when someone likes me". I nodded.
"Well the two of you aren't right". He spoke.
"Why? Is there someone else"? I asked.
"Yeah. Someone your own age". He mumbled.
"23 is perfectly fine for me. After all, I'm 18 almost 19, I can have whoever I want now".
Ukai looked at me and we locked eyes.
"That's a dangerous game you're playing with older guys". He informed me.
"Maybe. But I know a lot myself". I smiled.
"Older guys know more". He continued.
"Including you"? I raised an eyebrow and our shoulders touched.
He stayed silent for a second, then he looked away.
"I know a lot sure". He said.
"Like what"? I pressed on.
"You wanna find out"? He whispered.
My body got hot all over, and I balled my fist out of excitement.
"Yeah". I whispered back, staring at him.
He faced me and looked me in the eyes yet again.
He put his palm out in his lap, signaling me to grab his hand.
Is this real?
I placed my hand in his and he grabbed it.
Wow.
Then he suddenly clenched my fist and pushed a finger down, cracking my knuckle.
I pulled my hand away.
"Ow". I whispered shaking my hand in the air, the brief pain was enough to make me whimper.
"That's how to crack your knuckles with no hands". He sarcastically said with the biggest grin on his face.
Ukai. You're just a kid.
