2 weeks later

Cadets are assembled in the hall...and Mr. Batra is addressing them...

: Good Morning all ... Today you all have been assembled here to inform that you all have completed half of your training today...

All the cadets clap in unison...

: So with this good news accompanies another news of your examinations... the academy management has decided to conduct your examinations so that your progress report can be made and the academy can show results to the ministry ... I wish you all , all the very best for your examinations...your examination schedule has been pinned on the notice board and they are in the next two days first we have physical training tests and then academic training....Hope you all shine in your performances...

The cadets look at the examination schedule and discuss among themselves...while Monami walks alone stressed at one corner...Karan notices her alone and walks over to her...

: Why so stressed ...???

: Examinations...the schedule is quite tight and you very well know I have spent one week in the hospital...not only I missed my academic training and am behind in in thay but also physical training...I don't even know if I am physically capable enough to give the exams...Karan what is the policy for failing I mean if a cadet fails...will he or she be asked to leave the academy...

: Relax Monami...

: What if I am asked to leave the academy...You just had bagged about me being being one of the best cadets...I can't even go home...without completing mu training...where will I go...

Karan places his hands on her shoulders...

: Relax Monami...when I said you are one of my best cadets, I meant it...trust me you won't go anywhere...

Karan notices everyone around him and lifts up his hands from her shoulders...

: Post evening snacks ... my room...Clear..???

Monami nods though in utter confusion...

Evening

Monami knocks and enters Karan's room...She sits down on his bed...while he sits on a chair in front of her...He hands her the syllabus printout and asks her about the topics which she has not studied... She informs him... Karan brings a register and sits next to her on the bed...He starts teaching her and sits next to her... Monami moves closer to Karan to clear a doubt their shoulders touch and they share an eyelock.. Monami smiles and moves back ...

Karan brings out a book and marks the pages for Monami to read...and she complains about hunger... she informs him about her midnight cravings...Karan gets noodles for her which are half cooked... He insists her to continue studying and feeds her with his own hands...Monami eats the half cooked noodles happily without complaining...

Monami and Karan sleep while studying ... Monami's head on his shoulder and his over hers... Monami wakes up and looks at Karan she places a hand under his neck ... trying to not wake him up but ends up waking him... They both wake up and feel a little awkward... Monami rushes to her room before someone sees her...

Monami feels a little breathlessness and butterflies in her stomach...she brushes the thoughts off her mind... She sleeps and gets ready the next morning....entire day she sits in her room studying the previous lessons and revising what Karan has taught..

At night she meets Karan in the indoor training area and Karan helps her in polishing her physical training... Karan ties a tyre to Monami's waist ... while she takes rounds of the inner training ground Karan performs push-ups... He sweats excessively and removes his hoodie due to heat... Monami stares at him... He comes closer to Monami and unties the tyre... He then picks her up and asks her to hold the monkey bar above her head... Karan also grabs the monkey bar.. He holds Monami's legs with his...and helps her in performing exercise... Monami's hands slip and she grabs Karan... Karan grabs her waist from one hand and helps her in landing safely...

Karan wishes her best of luck for the exams and shows his confidence on her... Monami goes to her room to study but Karan's thoughts couldn't get off her mind...

Karan on the other hand finds Monami's behaviour a little strange...

Exams take place and Monami tops them when the results are declared... She goes to Karan to inform him about her results and hugs him in excitement... Karan reciprocates the hug without hesitation... but suddenly Monami breaks the hug... He and Monami smile ... and Karan congratulates her for the results... and asks her to give a party... Monami raises her eyebrow and questions him .. Karan shakes his head and replies he asked her as a part of culture...

At night in mess Monami cooks Karan's favourite dish about which she got to know from Baby... Karan smiles eating her dish...and the entire academy thank Monami for the party... After the all the people leave the mess..only Karan remains there...He walks closer to Monami and thanks her... to which Monami replies Both Karan and Monami smile and share a laugh after this ....
