《Up In Smoke - Jax Teller》two

+++
The following night is the same, same crowd and same special. Alexandrea regrets wearing her Snake Pit tank top, it shows a lot of cleavage but it's exceptionally hot out. Her shorts show off her long tan legs and shapes her ass and the guys can't get enough of her. Sig thankfully volunteers to help her out again, he mentioned something about a meeting but she only half listened. "Alex!" He shouts getting her attention. She's been thinking about that blonde heartbreaker in a leather vest with those stupid white tennis shoes as she scrapes dried dip spit off an ash tray. "Just toss that. I'll get a new one. Can you grab a couple beer pitchers please?" She nods, dropping the glass tray in the trash can next to the sink.
"Everett, nice to see you again." She says with a smile, sliding him his usual order, a John Collins. "You let me know if you want somethin' else, alright?" She squeezes his shoulder before slipping to the back to grab a couple of pitchers. "Where do you want these?"
"Just put them under the counter for now. Those boys should be here soon." Sig glances at the clock.
"What boys?" She asks, making herself a Bouldevardier. "Since when are we holdin' parties?"
"Not a party, believe me." He gives her a look that makes her anxious for what's to come. Sig is nervous and she can tell. He continuously scratches the side of his head. Last time he did that was during a health inspection, he rubbed his skin so raw that he had bloody scratches down the side of his face.
She rolls her eyes at some of the comments she's getting from some customers, mostly the men older than her. "I'll take over. Fill those pitchers up and take eight or uh nine glasses over to that group of guys." He points in a vague direction but she understands. She grabs the three pitchers in one hand and four glasses in the other, heading to the table of guys in matching leather: the Sons of Anarchy. She grabs the remaining glasses and a couple baskets of wings and sets them on the table, heading back behind the bar.
The door opens and in walks Jackson Teller. The two make eye contact, both glaring at each other as he makes his way to an open chair that faces her. Alex rolls her bluish green eyes, turning her attention to a mess of peanut shells on the counter top. The door opens again and there stands her old flame or her ex best friend with benefits, Opie. Her heart drops in her shoes then grimaces when she hears her name being called. "Want me to handle that?" Sig whispers to her when he sees her reaction.
"No, I got it." She gives him a playful elbow before plastering a fake smile on her lips, heading over the the group of guys. "Something I can get for all y'all?" A couple of the guys order drinks including the guy with the scars, that dark haired weirdo from the night before, Opie and of course, Jax. "Be right back."
Opie comes up to her. "Can I, uh, change my drink?" He asks the back of her head.
"Sure." She looks over at him and he finally recognizes her.
"Alexandrea Miller." He chuckles. "How long has it been?"
"Five years easy." She tucks a piece of hair that's fallen out of her messy braid behind her heavily pierced ear. "How're you doing?"

"I'm doin, y'know. Day by day." She smiles with him, sliding her hands into the pockets of her apron. "What about you? I haven't seen you in a while."
"Well-"
"This isn't social hour, kid." Sig says from the opposite side of the bar.
She blushes and looks down at her worn up converse. "When do you get off?"
"As soon as the cows come home." She visibly cringes at that stupid southern saying she picked up in Bama. Alex glances over at her boss who sighs and nods, silently agreeing to whatever she's going to as him. "Midnight-ish."
"Cool, I'll see you then." He winks at her as he picks up the drinks and takes them to his table. She glances at Jax. He's already got his eyes on her, giving her a look that makes her entire body buzz and pink coloring her face.
"You're okay if I take off 'round midnight, right?"
"As long as you help get some clean up done." She nods and gives him a pinky promise, laughing at the gesture. He pats her on the back, heading to his office for a few minutes.

As promised, Opie's sitting on his bike outside the dive bar around midnight. He gives her a smile when she shuts the door behind her. "Hey." She says, adjusting her purse strap on her shoulder.
"Hey." He nods. "So, nothing's really open except this..."
"We can go back in." Opie nods and holds the door open for her, following her to a table in the back corner of the bar. "What's been going on?"
"Nothing much really." He laughs awkwardly. "You haven't been here for a while."
"I moved to Alabama." She says as she twists a chunky ring around her finger.
"Why?" She looks up at him, her eyes raking over the long bushy beard and long brown hair that he hasn't cut since she left.
"Just needed..." she glanced off at the random beer signs on the wall. "A fresh start."
"It's nice to see you, Alex." Opie says, putting his torn up hand over hers, wrapping his fingers around it. "Missed having you around."
She blushes as she looks down. The way their relationship ended was difficult. He was her first love. When his father died, Jax turned to Alex for comfort; she's the only person that knew exactly what he was feeling and that turned into them hooking up. Alex loved Ope but deserved better than her. "It's nice to be back."

After a few hours of catching up and laughing, Opie decides to head home. He presses a kiss to her cheek before hoping on his bike, riding off. Alexandrea sighs, turning back to the door on the right then heads upstairs to her apartment. She exhales heavily as she tugs her tank top off, standing in her shorts and bralette, kicking her liquor and dust stained sneakers off to the corner of the room. She sighs again, making her way to the kitchen, noticing an open bottle of beer on the counter. She furrows her brows as she sets it in the sink, heading to the bathroom.
The doors closed but the light is on. Alex swings the door open, shrieking when she sees Jackson Teller standing in front of the toilet, pissing like it's his place. "What the fuck!?"
"Privacy please." He says, kicking the door closed. She paces in front of the bathroom, waiting for him to finish so she can kick him out.

"Why are you here?" She shouts, grabbing him by his cut, shoving him towards the door. "Get out!" He grips her arms and pushes her back as he leans against the door, giving her that smirk that makes her belly tingle and heat up. "Now, Jackson."
"After everything we've been through you're just gonna kick me out?" He says as he still has his hands around her wrists. "After everything?"
"Nothing happened, Teller."
"I think about you all the time, that night-"
"You're why I left. Everything that happened was because of you." She cuts him off, pulling her arms free from him. "Ope's forgiven me for what happened. Get out." She grabs the front of his shirt again, trying to shove him out of her apartment but he quickly pins her against the wall making her breath hitch and her cheeks go pink.
"Nothing? Really?" He sounds kind of hurt. "That look on your face tells me you've never forgotten." His smirk returns. "We'll see what goes down between you and Ope." He adjusts his cut and t-shirt, letting himself out. She's left standing against the wall, her chest heaving at what the fuck just happened.

Those guys in matching leather vests come to the bar every Saturday. Alex gives the same drink orders to them in addition to different types of shitty dive bar foods they serve. Opie hasn't been in for over two weeks, she's kind of disappointed but she gets it. He was her first love; they were slowly moving on to be more serious and with the way things went down before she left she understands why he wouldn't want to be around her.
She sighs as she dries a glass, tossing the towel over her shoulder before turning back around to the rest of the room. She makes eye contact with Jax, her cheeks going bright red at the look he gives her, like he's stripping her with his eyes. She clears her throat as she squeezes past Sig, heading to the bathroom.
Alex splashes cold water on her hot skin, looking at her flushed reflection in the dingy mirror. After a couple minutes of silence, she returns to her spot behind the bar, a lit cigarette between her lips with another behind her pierced ear. Her eyes flicker up to the tall man leaning against the counter. "You okay?" Opie asks quietly, she'll always have a special place in his heart.
"Hm?" She asks, handing another man a beer. "Oh, yeah I'm fine." She forces a small smile, holding her cigarette between her fingers. Opie chuckles at her, her stance hasn't changed in over five years. "Can I getcha somethin'?"
"Uh yeah. Jax wanted a Boulevardier." She gives the blonde a dirty look as she prepares the drink, her favorite drink. She leans her elbows against the bar top, reaching out to fix the collar on his shirt, running her hand against his chest, feeling Jax's eyes stare daggers at her.
"I get off work in a few tonight. Eleven." She bites her lip, twirling a loose strand of hair around her finger. "And I'm livin upstairs."
"I'll get a pizza or something then."
"Sounds good." She smiles, handing him Jax's order. "See you then, Hank."
He rolls his eyes at that old nickname. "Sounds good, Lexa." Her ears get hot. They know they both get annoyed with those nicknames so they use them to tease each other. She smiles to herself as she lights another cigarette, sliding Everett his usual.
"That's that girl?" She hears from the group of bikers. Alex refuses to look at them while she wipes down the counter, her cigarette hanging from her mouth. "She's a lot hotter than I pictured her."
She rolls her eyes, turning to Melinda. Melinda is a taller, heavier woman with frizzy brown hair and kind eyes. "You okay, baby?" She asks. "Those boys causing you trouble?"
"They're just bein' boys." She hates that saying but she doesn't want to tell her what's going on. "Sig said I'm off at eleven." The clock reads quarter till. "I'll wash up these dishes and clean off those tables before I go." She says as she pulls a towel out of the bag from the underside of the counter, grabbing a spray bottle of cleaner then heads to vacant tables. Alexandrea feels the many pairs of biker eyes checking her ass out while she's bent over the high top, standing on her toes. When she walks past Opie, she runs her hand over his back and shoulders, giving one a squeeze before she picks up a full bus tub to take to the back sink to be washed.
It's past eleven and Alex is finally off the clock. She says her goodbyes to her regulars and co workers before she heads upstairs. She takes a quick shower and tidies up her place before grabbing the cheap box of wine from the top of her fridge, pouring herself some from the tab on the front.
There's a soft knock against her door. She hops off the counter and answers it. "Hey Ope." She smiles, leaning against the wood door. "Forgot how nicely you clean up." He lets himself in holding a twelve pack of PBR and an extra large pizza. "What a gentleman."
"So, tell me everything, baby." He says between chewing, sitting down on the old plaid couch against the wall. "There's gotta be something new that's happened in the last five years."
She sighs as she looks down at her wine glass, refilling it before joining him with her own plate of pizza. "Nothing much happened." She shrugs. "I moved to Alabama, told you that earlier. It was beautiful there. I worked at a lot of different bars and restaurants and tried to finish my nursing degree but I, uh, didn't make enough money." She looks down at her wine glass, standing to refill it. "What about you?"
"Been in with the Sons and that's it."
"Huh." She brings the box of wine back to the couch with her. "Aren't we just a couple of crazy kids?" Opie laughs and rests his arm on the back of the couch behind her, leaning in. "How's your old man?"
"He had to be put on oxygen and he was told he's not allowed to smoke anymore."
Alex stifles a laugh. "Is Piney actually listenin?"
Opie shrugs. "Haven't seen him light up since." She smiles that smile that stole his heart all those years ago. He looks down and chuckles. "I, uh, missed you."
She blushes. "I missed you too." She scoots a little closer to him, setting her wine glass on the coffee table before leaning up to kiss him hard, her hand sliding to the side of his face as he kisses her back. He guides her to his lap, sliding his large hands over her body, his fingers tucking under the hem of her shirt. In one movement, her top comes off as does Ope's.
Soon enough they're racing to her bed, the rest of their clothing hits the floor and moans fill the air.
It's nice to be back.

The Novel's Extra's Extra
As a reader, Cristopher always looked for things that entertained him, didn't matter what the "critics" said, all that matters was his own opinion on the novel, so he started reading "The Novel's Extra", a webnovel that despicts an author who is transmigrated to his own novel. It was fun and all with its own good and bad points, really, one of his favorites novels at the end of the journey, and that's taking into account the little fact that he didn't have too many things he was able to enjoy, not in that empty shell that was called life for him... Why could someone be born like that? With a void inside, an endless void that slowly consumes oneself... But... for better or worse... everything changed one day, the same day he woke up to discover he had the same faith of the author whose novel he just finished reading, becoming an extra in a novel, becoming The novel's extra's extra... /Ok, now that's the description I thought of... first of all, for those of you who are reading this, if any, a few points I have to make clear: 1. I'm not an english native speaker, so if you find anything wrong in the text, please let me know, that would help me learn, and I would be thankful for that.2. I'm writting this out of pure "enjoyment", so while I'll try to be constant, I'll not make any promises.3. True reason why I'm writing this is because I'm going through a moderate to crippling depression right now (and no, is not because anything trully bad and horrendous happened to me, it seems to have something to do with my brain's malfuctioning, among other things), and doctors told me to try writing as I enjoy reading. So yeah, this is more like a self-help excercise, to keep myself distracted while trying to be safe from my self.4. I choose to make a fanfiction of "The Novel's Extra" as I don't trully know how to write, and because I really loved that webnovel, though there are some points I didn't particulary liked.5. If you see some (let's be clear, really much) self insertion on this series, well, that may be me trying to escape reality, to which I make an early warning and disclaimer, and also ask for forgiveness, as I said before, this is more of an excercise, so don't take it too serious.6. I'll be a slow writer, as I have to still check a few things from the novel, even when I've read it like 3 or 4 times already, and because I know shit about writing a novel or a series.7. If you get to enjoy this, then that's good, I would be glad about it, maybe even more motivated, but I don't really expect this to be any good. Thanks to you all who may, or may not, be reading this novel./
