《Help Me》Chapter 3

"It's a pleasure to meet you Bella," Esme said.
I look over to see Bella visibly shaking from her nerves. I gently squeeze her hand to help calm her down.
"Th...the pleasure is a...all mine Mrs. Cullen," Bella stutters out. It is so cute when she stutters. Bella is one adorable human.
"No need to be nervous dear. And please call me Esme, Mrs. Cullen makes me sound old."
"Sure thing Esme," Bella responded. She slowly rocks back and forth on her feet not knowing what to do.
"How about we go inside and meet the rest of the family. Also, Carlisle needs to check up on Bella," I say. I lean in close to Bella, so she can hear me say, "Bella sweetie, there are going to be men in here. They will not hurt you and I will be right by your side. Can you handle it?"
"If you don't let go then I'll be fine. Just please don't let go of my hand."
"I won't babe, okay. Are you ready?"
"The faster we get this done, the sooner I can cuddle up to you. So yeah I'm ready."
I chuckle at her reasoning, and lead her into the living room. We walk into the living room where everyone is at. Rosalie is looking at Bella closely to see how she is taking the accident. Rosalie understands what Bella is going through, and she doesn't like it one bit.
I say to low for Bella to hear, "How is she Rosalie?"
"She's taking it suprisingly well, but you can tell she's scared of every male here," she responds. I give her a grateful smile before I turn my gaze to the whole family.
"Family this is my mate/girlfriend Bella." I can tell Bella is a little nervous, so I give her hand a gentle squeeze.

"Hey everybody," Bella shyly says. She gives a little wave. She is so adorable.
Carlisle steps foward. "Hello Bella, I'm Carlisle." He slowly reaches out his hand for her to shake. She slowly shakes his hand then steps back.
Edward and Jasper step forward. "Hello Bella. I'm Edward and this is my mate Jasper," Edward says. They slowly step back not wanting to scare her so much. Even Jasper can't read her emotions, Bella is one complex, adorable human.
Emmett comes up, and you can tell he is trying not to intimidate her. "Hey Bella. I'm Emmett, and I can tell we are going to be great friends," he says with a cheeky smile. He sticks his hand out and Bella once again slowly shakes his hand. He slowly steps back to his place by the wall.
"I guess they saved the best for last didn't they," Rosalie says walking up. You can see Bella visibly relax because it's a female walking to her. "Well Bella I'm Rosalie, nice to meet you." Rosalie cautiously walks up and gives Bella a hug, which suprisingly Bella eagerly returns.
"Hey how come she gets a hug and I don't? I'm even your girlfriend," I feign being hurt. Bella quickly let's go of Rosalie and pulls me into a hug. She wraps her arms around my neck, and mine go around her waist. "Hmmmm... I like this," I say gently.
"You're not the only one babe," Bella returns. She sighs in content and buries her head in my hair, and gently kisses the top of my head. I can tell my family left to give us some privacy so we just stay there for a little bit.
"I called your dad, and you are sleeping over for the weekend," I tell her remembering the quick phone call I did on the way to get Bella.

"Good because I don't won't to leave just yet. How about we go up to your room?" she asks.
I nod and pick her up. I carry her to my room, and lay her down on my bed. I walk into my closer and pull out some pj's for her.
"Here you go. I'll turn around so you can change," I say and hand her the pajamas. I hear the clothes swishing, and I can tell that she's done. I turn around to her and see that the clothes fit her perfectly.
"Can we umm... uh you know cuddle?" she stutters out.
"Of course we can Bella. You never have to ask to cuddle with me." We lay down on the bed and she instantly cuddled into my side. "Go to sleep my Bella. We will talk in the morning," I tell her. She mumbles out something then falls asleep for the rest of the night, cuddled up to me.

Homeland
NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER -- In Cory Doctorow’s wildly successful Little Brother, young Marcus Yallow was arbitrarily detained and brutalized by the government in the wake of a terrorist attack on San Francisco—an experience that led him to become a leader of the whole movement of technologically clued-in teenagers, fighting back against the tyrannical security state.A few years later, California's economy collapses, but Marcus’s hacktivist past lands him a job as webmaster for a crusading politician who promises reform. Soon his former nemesis Masha emerges from the political underground to gift him with a thumbdrive containing a Wikileaks-style cable-dump of hard evidence of corporate and governmental perfidy. It’s incendiary stuff—and if Masha goes missing, Marcus is supposed to release it to the world. Then Marcus sees Masha being kidnapped by the same government agents who detained and tortured Marcus years earlier.Marcus can leak the archive Masha gave him—but he can’t admit to being the leaker, because that will cost his employer the election. He’s surrounded by friends who remember what he did a few years ago and regard him as a hacker hero. He can’t even attend a demonstration without being dragged onstage and handed a mike. He’s not at all sure that just dumping the archive onto the Internet, before he’s gone through its millions of words, is the right thing to do.Meanwhile, people are beginning to shadow him, people who look like they’re used to inflicting pain until they get the answers they want. Fast-moving, passionate, and as current as next week, Homeland is every bit the equal of Little Brother—a paean to activism, to courage, to the drive to make the world a better place.
