"So Bella what do you want to do today?" I ask.

"Anything but shopping. I don't think I'll be able to handle the crowds. Maybe we can hang out with your family?" Bella as shyly. Awww she's blushing.

"Of course!" I exclaim. "Emmett has been waiting for you to play video games with him ever since he found out that I liked you."

"You'll be right there beside me right. I kind of like to have you beside me. For some reason I feel safe and sound just by your scent," Bella rambled.

"That's probably the mate's bond, but also it's because I saved you from your attackers," I shrug. I look calm on the outside but inside my head I'm like, "Yes she wants me beside her. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!" Okay that mental freak out is over.

"Okay let's go downstairs then. I want to be able to be beside your family without being scared."

We head downstairs slowly because Bella hurts from what happened to her yesterday. She wouldn't allow me to carry her today or yesterday. We make it to the living room where Emmett was playing his Xbox already.

"You couldn't wait five more minutes till we got down here?" I ask jokingly.

"No! I have to get this started. That way Bella wouldn't get to see what game we are playing. By the way Bella, this is my favorite game," Emmett says without turning around.

Bella's heart speeds up a little bit with the male presence, but she walks foward a little bit. I can tell she is scared some but she is improving.

"Hey Bella. Ummm... Do you maybe want to sit here," Emmett pats the spot beside him when finally turning around and looking at us. "I promise not to touch you, but if I accidently yell at the game and you get scared I'll move farther away. I don't want you intimidated by me. Especially because of my size," he says.

"S..sure," she stutters some. "And if you accidently yell, you don't have to move. Alice is going to be beside me the entire time, so I'll just turn to her real quick," Bella says surprising us. "Also I'm not intimidated by you or your size, it's just that the male population is not really good people right now," she finished. Wow I never would have thought that Bella could speak like that.

"Wow Alice. I think you got yourself a keeper her. She might even be able to talk her way out of trouble when you're mad at her," Emmett jokes.

"Shut up Emmett. Maybe you and Bella should play your game now," I respond.

"Okay okay. Bella are you ready to loose at some basketball?" Emmett asks.

"Just so you know I grew up around some boys, so bring it on," she responds. Wow. She is pretty hot when she gets sassy. I like it.

We sit down and you can see Bella get more comfortable around Emmett while they start picking their teams. I start to zone out because basketball holds nothing of my interest. Emmett speaks up after a while.

"Let the game begin."
