《Saints (SAINTS #1) | ✓》20

week passed a lot less chaotically. Although the sins were the talk of the school, no one dared to approach them as long as it was known that they were friends with her. It was a nice benefit of her surname and one she was glad with - her newly reformed persona wasn't looking forward to another huge mess.
And a mess was all the sins seemed able to make. Every interaction with humans they had caused some kind of fight and Jasmina felt like a mother solving all their problems, a feeling she certainly didn't like. She was glad when Friday neared it's end and she had two days of rest to look forward to.
Although she hadn't done anything big or ruined anyone this week, she still wasn't sure if this was the kind of reformation the devil wanted. So as she sat down in her living room on one of the lavish, white couches she opened her laptop and started searching.
"What're you doing, gorgeous?" Daichi said as he peeked over her shoulder, his arms folded on the couch as he rested his chin on them.
"None of your business," she said as she waved him off with a hand without looking up.
"Shouldn't you be nice?" Ari said from her seat in a matching chair to her left, a magazine in her hand.
"Shouldn't you -" she began, before correcting herself with a sweet smile as she looked at Daichi," I'm looking for charities to donate to."
"You are?" Ari said with raised eyebrows, before holding up her magazine in front of her face when Jasmina shot her a look," I mean, you're such a sweet person, I'm not surprised."
"Exactly," Jasmina said with a pleased smile," I'll be going to the Thompson Mall here, they have a place where I can donate personally."
"And?" Ari said as she looked over her magazine.
"And some very cute shops," Jasmina said, before sighing when Ari raised her eyebrows," becoming a good person doesn't have to mean I dress badly."
"I'm not judging you," Ari said," I'm coming along."
"Can I come along as well?" Daichi pleaded as he played with her hair.
"Don't touch the hair," Jasmina said," and if you don't bother me, you can."
"I won't," he promised with a bright grin as he wrapped his arms around her from behind.
"I'm surprised you didn't just go on without us," Ari said as Jasmina simply raised her eyebrows at Daichi and he let her go.

"You all would just follow anyway if I told you you couldn't go," she said with an eyeroll.
"You know me too well," Daichi said as he pressed a kiss on her cheek.
Before she could snarl at him he was already off, escaping through an orange portal he quickly conjured, leaving only the scent of chocolate behind.
"Your magic is really annoying me," Jasmina said as she took a nail file from her bag and inspected her nails.
"I disagree," Ari said as she held out her hand and gold flames danced around her fingers," it's the one thing I like about being a sin."
"Do I get a choice on what color I get in the chance I join you all?" Jasmina said," because I will fight with the devil if he gives me a tacky color like orange."
"Orange is Gula's color," Ari remarked.
"I know," Jasmina said," I haven't told him I find it ugly because I'm a good person now."
"And normally you would?" Ari said, before waving it off with a hand," that was a silly question, you told me I couldn't pull off black this week."
"And you're welcome," Jasmina said as she pointed the nail file at her," you look goth with black."
"Maybe I want to look goth," Ari said.
"Then you should wear black," Jasmina said.
"Now I don't want to anymore," Ari huffed, although it was good-natured.
Her eyes lit up as soon as they settled om something behind her though and Jasmina turned around.
"Luxuria," Ari smiled.
"Are you coming along to shop?" Jasmina said, before correcting herself when Ari shot her an amused smile," I mean, donate to charity."
"I would never turn down an offer to do both," Lucy smiled as she sat down on the arm of the chair Ari was seated on.
Ari's cheeks tinted pink as she looked at the sin who crossed one leg over the other and Jasmina chuckled. As Ira and Victor entered the room, she rose to her feet, ready to get out before all the sins gathered and she was going to be in the middle of the next fight again. Victor nodded politely at her, Ira flashing her a grin as he threw the basketball he was holding in the air and caught it.
"Well then," she said," I'm going to dress up, inform the rest of the sins you can come be good with me if you want to, but I'd rather you not. I'll meet you all outside within an hour."

Right before she left the room, she turned around, smile sweet as sugar as she looked at them.
"Also tell them that whoever is late, will be left behind."
"You're the one who's always late," Ira scoffed.
She walked up to him and she could see the suspicion in his eyes at her friendly smile. And then before he could do anything, she pressed her nail file into his basketball, causing the whole thing to deflate.
"I know," she smiled, before adding," don't let me wait."
Ira's eyes widened and red sparks appeared around him for a moment, causing Victor to squish them all out with his hands before any fires could start.
"What is that?" Jasmina frowned.
"It happens when he gets infatuated with something," Victor said as he slapped a spark away like a fly," stop acting violent around him."
"You are a dream woman, Jasmina," Ira grinned at her.
"You are not asleep," she replied easily, before turning around and walking away.
"I'll see you within an hour!" Ira called after her.
An hour and a half later Ira stepped into her room, Victor behind him in an attempt to calm him down as he stormed at her.
"An hour, you said," Ira said.
"I know," she said as she applied lipstick.
"We're leaving," he said.
"Leave then," she said with an eyeroll.
"No," he said," we're leaving."
And then he lifted her up from her chair with ease, throwing her over his shoulder before walking down the stairs.
"What the actual fuck?" she said," I swear to the devil, Ira, if my hair is messed up after this -"
"Spare me your threats," he said," just act on them instead, you know that fires me up more."
"We could also have done this the civilized way," Victor muttered behind them," but no -"
"Fight me, Victor."
"I don't want to fight you, go away."
"Are you kidnapping our human?" Priyanka frowned as they passed her.
"I'm not sure," Victor said.
Jasmina kicked him then and Ira grinned, flashing her a grin as sparks appeared again.
"Go on," he said," I'm sure you can kick harder than that."
"Oh, I can," she said," but let me spare both of our efforts - carry me princess style instead."
"What?" he said, faltering in his fast pace for a moment.
"You heard me," she said," if you're going to take me along like a barbarian, at least do it in a way I'll be comfortable."
"And why would I do that?" he frowned.
"Don't you want to see me at my worst?" she whispered at him," if you follow along, I'll show you exactly why the devil decided to spare me."
Ira's hesitation disappeared as he easily switched her from position and she carefully put her hair back in the right look.
"You're her bitch now," Priyanka said as she patted him on the shoulder in passing.
"Fuck off," Ira scowled.
"You know what," Victor said," I'm seeing how chaotic this expedition will be, so I'll just stay at home, okay pal?"
"No," Ira said.
"Superbia," Victor said exasperatedly as he looked at her," perhaps you'll let him listen to reason."
Priyanka sighed as she stopped in her tracks, turning around, her face unwilling as she spoke.
"Let Invidia be, Ira," she said.
"What are you, my boss?" he scoffed.
"I may not be the devil," she said softly as she waved her hand and purple ice shot out of the ground around him," but I can be just as bad."
Ira's eyes glowed red then and Victor raised his eyebrows, before he quietly disappeared into green smoke. Their postures tensed as they stared at each other, too immersed to notice Invidia leaving, and Priyanka raised her hand as Ira's lips parted.
"I don't care whether you both fight," Jasmina called out from her position in Ira's arms," but my hair doesn't do well with moisture, so can you remove the ice beside my head?"
"Ah, I forgot you were here for a moment," Ira said as he looked at her.
"What makes you think I won't just let more ice appear instead?" Priyanka said.
"That would be petty," Jasmina said.
"I learned from the best."
"Awh," Jasmina said as she placed a touched hand on her heart," I am indeed the best." She tapped Ira on his cheek then, eyebrows raised as she waved a hand at the door. "Now come on, get a move on, we're late."
"Thanks to you!" he said indignantly," and I'm not a car!"
"You are now," she said.
"I'm not sure which of you to wish good luck," Priyanka muttered then as she walked away.
Lucy walked in then, pushing her sunglasses up as she gestured at them to follow.
"Come on then," she said," let's go be good."
