《Xanilian Prince's pet》02- Auction house

I woke up feeling groggy among of 2 human women and men all around inside a big cage.
"You alright?" One of the women asked in a thick accent.
"Where are we?" I looked around sitting up.
"They're finally gonna sell us." Another woman replied. "Men were starting to feel crazy." She threw a disgusting look at men. "So we had to surround you."
The men on the other hand seemed like shitting themselves off. All of them kept muttering in a frightened way and roaming around.
"Cowards." The thick accented woman spat.
"Irene, maybe they saw stuff we didn't get to see or had drugs into their bodies."
"They're army men for fuck's sake Cindy! They were given the same honourable treatment as us!"
"Well they can't handle the fact that they of all people are being sold."
"All that was honourable treatment?!" I asked shocked.
"These aliens seem to worship warriors." Irene said. "But their feelings are conflicted because we're humans. So yes. This is the best treatment we could ever get as an adult humans."
"LET ME OUT!" One of the men screamed while banging the bars.
"SHUT YOUR CAKEHOLE DICKHEAD!" Irene screamed back.
"I DON'T WANNA DIE!" He banged not noticing Irene.
Irene didn't reply back as Cindy touched her arm to silence her.
I quickly stood up and banged at the bars as well.
"LET US OUT ALIEN FILTH!" I screamed out my heart.
Irene sighed. "Like I'm trying to say. It's of not use. Why do you think me and Cindy are sitting here quietly?"
"No no no, this can't be it." I muttered around clutching my hair. "I—I haven't confessed to Damien, I haven't gotten ranks, I—I—" I struggled to speak farther.

"Maybe they gave her the drug as well." Cindy noticed. "When those men fought back, they were stabbed with something. Maybe she fought back too."
"What do you mean you didn't fight back?"
Irene and Cindy looked away.
"We—have no reason to fight back anymore. They took our husbands and children long time ago. When we did fight back for them, we were caught." Irene said. "And now, we're here."
"I think mine's dead." Cindy finally broke down crying. "He's— He's already 50. He's not exactly healthy. They must have eaten him. And Sara— oh god!" She started full on sobbing.
Irene shook her head. "Cindy, we— we did our best."
"Silence humans!" An alien came by. I could finally see him. He was just like humans, except ash coloured skin and looked slightly taller than human men.
His eyes had no whites. It was all black. But all other features seemed human enough.
"I expect you to behave in front of the Xanilian Elites with elegance and composure." He struck a stick on the bars.
"Any one, who misbehaves will be offered as food. Do you understand?" He barked.
All of us were silent in fear.
"I take that as a yes." He turned away signalling his underlings to remove the curtains.
Hundreds of Xanilians were seated in front of us. All of them looked nothing like the alien who handled us.
They had burning red skins, women with hair beaded and decorated with pearls and gold and men with neatly plaited hair. As they turned around I could see diamonds and platinum twinkling on their neatly plaited hair in dim light.
Their eyes sparkled the same colour as gold or silver or rubies in some cases with eye liners highlighting their beautiful fish like eye shape. And mostly they had horns in different shapes adorned on their head.

"We're in hell. They're the devils we've been warned of our whole life." The man near us said in a frightened way.
"Silence!" The alien whispered. The man shut his mouth with his hands trying not to cry,
"Ladies and gentlemen." The alien spoke to the restless crowd of Xanilians.
"We begin our auction with this particular human." He pulled out the man near us. "And I believe you already know the conditions to own a human. But I'll repeat it here just for safety."
Xanilians started to mutter quietly to each other discussing which human they will buy as they weren't really interested in instructions. As if they had heard the instructions thousand times. Only few of them actually listened.
"Rule number one—you can only own an human only if you are not in a marriage.
Rule number two— you can only buy them only if they respond to your mating calls. And don't be disheartened if they don't respond folks.
This bunch notoriously has strong minds to withstand your mating calls.
Rule number three— If you are to be wedded with another after the purchase, make sure your finance has the opposite gender human." The alien finished as he looked up from his scroll.
"No. 1 starting as 10,000 Drouts." The Alien started.
Suddenly several hands shot up at once.
"20,000 drouts."
Hands seemed to lessen. But it was still quite a lot.
"Let's increase shall we?" The alien grinned greedily. "50,000 DROUTS!"
Only one hand remained.
"Ah, Ms 1005. We have the final test." The alien beamed at her. She looked at an older Xanilian man near her who was likely her father for permission to go to the stage. The father agreed proudly and she climbed onto the stage.
She let out a shrill growl from her diaphragm as she came closer to the priced human.
The man knelt down with a weird expression on his face. As if— as if he was enjoying it.
"Congratulations miss! This human is yours now!" The alien applauded, others followed him as well, with the father shouting out "That's my girl!" Proudly.
Irene finally seemed scared.
"What did she do to him?!" She clung to the bars.
"They said something about mating calls." Cindy responded. "But—but we're not wild animals to respond to them. Definitely not that stupid growl." She said as we saw him being collared by the Xanilian girl and him almost melting and enjoying her touching and petting.
"Please." He panted as he held her hand on his face. His face at this point was all rosy red.
She simply smiled sweetly at him as she stroked his face and hair more.
