Day 1 of no Jane

Jane seemed to disappear..... the others looked high and low in the underground for her but it was like she was gone. They knew she was hiding somewhere in there to avoid either them or the aftermath of the Paul situation. When the Cullens brought the two girls home they had been grounded by Charlie. He was unhappy to see Edward carrying his daughter let alone that he pushed past him and took her to her room. Jane just walked in with dragging feet as she felt watched from the woods. She almost fell asleep the second she hit her pillow but she refrained. She lay there eyes staring at the ceiling listening as murmurs were heard on the other side of the wall. Her annoyance for Edweirdo rising as she realized he was probably staying the night.

She soon fell asleep and had nothing but nightmare filled dreams of her time in Italy. The crowds screams after entering the chamber.... There was children in the group. That next morning she expected Paul or someone to have messaged her to lecture her on leaving with the vampires but..... nothing but radio silence. She shook it off being stubborn saying she didn't care when maybe she did and wouldn't say. She was up all day just lounging around boredly. Finally Jane..... stubborn ass Jane Challis decided it was time to cave and just make up with the guy. She called. It rang twice before going to voicemail letting her know someone declined her call.

She tried a second time and it was the same thing but she shook it off and even tried to call Jake. With Jake it rang once before it did the same thing making her sigh. She hung up and began twiddling her fingers in realization, that maybe the pack was done with her for choosing Bella swan first. Jane would lie and say it didn't hurt but it did. Jane stayed that entire day as everyone watched her for any signs of weakness in the underground. She sat there thinking they'd call her back when they weren't busy or something...... but they never did. When Jane went to bed that night and everyone else in the underground did as well she snuck her way inside and began to wonder through memories the best place to hide there.

When the body woke up the next morning no one understood where Jane had gone so the Hangman's daughter stepped forward for the day. She painted outside a colorful painting as her mascara ran down her face from crying. It was raining like it always does in Forks Washington and it was day 1 of no Jane. She painted and painted until she felt watched but even then she ignored it until a figure was in her peripheral vision. "You'll catch a cold out here." Alice spoke with a soft smile walking to the girl who just sniffled and continued to paint the scene in front of her. "My painting is ruined." She sobbed as Alice came and stood beside her looking at it. It wasn't hard to tell the meaning behind the painting as it showed Bella standing with Cullens just like Alice envisioned would happen tonight. Bella taking a vote on becoming a vampire, Edward was gonna make Jane come to help his chances of convincing Bella to stay human.

"I don't think it's ruined...... maybe it all ties in together." Alice said comforting the girl who shook her head but grabbed the painting and walked to the garage. She threw it in there just like all the others she moved to hide in there. "Jane would you like to hangout with my sister and I today?" Alice asked but the hangman's daughter simply continued to walk away. The hangman's daughter shifting quickly so to hammerhead who was ready to make sure they weren't doing anything stupid while Jane was gone. But soon even she was growing impatient with how Jane still hadn't turned up.

Days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months with still no Jane.

Day 62 of no Jane 3 weeks from graduation

Hammerhead jammed out with red led lights flashing everywhere as heavy metal music played over the stereos. She was running around in a mosh pit screaming bloody murder and dancing around having fun. A man knocked her over on purpose making her fall to the floor and slowly bare her teeth as she pushed herself up. She was soon punching and knocking the daylights out of anyone who ran at her man or woman. She laughed as she took the last guy down and began jumping to the music once again as everyone watched her in shock.

She laughed deviously before she saw someone she knew would be there, in all her glory was Alice Cullen. She had been keeping tabs on Janes body since Jane hadn't come forward in a long time. Charlie was starting to worry..... he even told Billy who passed it along to the pack but Paul being Paul was stubborn. He had been hurt by Janes words and actions, of course he still worried for her it just seems his stubbornness had more priority due to his damaged pride. The pack begged him to reach out but he didn't.....

"Come on hammer head. Jane has school tomorrow." Alice said with a sigh as Hammerhead blew a raspberry in her face. It was currently Sunday and Bella was supposed to be coming home from Florida. Hammerhead avoided Bella knowing without Jane she'd probably behead the girl and put it on a bobble head for her personal amusement. Edward didn't understand why the cousins argued so much Bella simply said it was because Janes crazy but Edward knew it was more then that. Carlisle had been working on a way to bring Jane back, or at least start looking for her in there but- it wasn't working for him.

The vampires wanted Jane there for her own graduation but she seemed to be hidden well. Carlisle also got his hands on Janes file..... he knew everything about her. So did Charlie now..... but he couldn't talk to her because she was never around. That's also why he let her get ungrounded sooner saying she had suffered enough isolation in her young life. Bella was pissy but Charlie didn't tell her Janes secrets deciding that was Janes decision who she wanted to know. Alice had to drag hammerhead to school and even did her homework so Jane could graduate much to Charlie's displeasure. It pained him that Jane was just- gone. But he was thankful Alice was helping her through it. He was pissed that he knew the La Push group knew something about Janes weird disappearance yet they never came around. Not even Jacob which surprised him for both Jane and Bella's sake.

Day 63 no Jane

Edward drove the two girls to school like he did everyday, Bella in the passenger seat as a sleepy hammerhead snored in the back. Of course when he pulled into school Jacob black had to be there after they had just had a weekend disagreement. Hammerhead sat up and sighed aggressively about to stormed into the school when Edweirdo tried to tell her what to do. "If I asked you guys to stay in the car coul you?" He asked and stepped out. Not even a moment later hammerhead was out and walking away and Bella stood next to Edward like the stick up his ass she was. "Of course not." He muttered and followed after hammerhead who walked away not even noticing the guy in front of her at first. To be fair Jake didn't recognize her either, as his eyes found her an audible gasp left him. She was a lot skinnier, paler, hair longer yet lifeless and the usual black bags under her eyes was darker.

"Jane?" He asked breaking his 'cool' stance and scowl. "Its fucking Hammerhead dill weed... been that long you can't remember me?" She asked with a huff clearly not impressed. "What's happened to you?" He asked like he had no clue it was the imprint bond taking effect of the body. "Janes been fucking awol for months.... Not that you care your one of the reasons she's missing." Hammerhead scoffed crossing her arms making Jake look upset before he scowled at the vampire and human girl that soon approached him as well. He was back to trying to look cool by leaning on his car and started talking to Bella and Edward. Hammerhead didn't really care but perked up when she heard Emmett and Paul had..... a disagreement. Emmett was Hammerheads favorite and least favorite vampire in the Cullens. The two liked to arm wrestle and watch violent stuff and video games together but she hated being bear hugged by the man.

"You tell that mutt to leave my friend alone." Hammerhead scoffed making Jake look at her with pain filled gaze but he didn't say anything knowing this wasn't Jane speaking just another personality but it still hurt. He soon was about to leave but Bella hopped in making Hammerhead follow happy to be skipping the dreaded school aka hell. She was smiling the whole way kicking her feet up and in between Jake and Bella as they made scrunched up faces at her for different reasons. Soon pulling up to Emily's where a bunch of wolf boys could be heard laughing from inside before they came running out to meet the two unaware Hammerhead had come along.

It went quiet as Hammerhead stepped out and merely glanced at the pack although one of their gazes burned into her. Hammerhead just ignored them and lit a cigarette and smiled wickedly at her phone as Emmett told her of an MMA fight that would be on Tv later that night. "Jane?" Paul spoke for the first time since she got out of the car. Hammerhead snorted sending the text she had been working on before looking at him unimpressed. "Sorry lover boy. Janes not here." Hammerhead said with mockery making him look both confused and worried. "Well where is she?" He asked trying not to sound as worried as he looked. "She's been missing for 63 days now actually.... Not that anyone here would know that." She snapped a bit aggressively before some she wolf came walking out glaring the two down more so Bella then Hammerhead.

"Bella Hammerhead. This is Leah Clearwater." Jake introduced getting a head nod from hammerhead who stared into Quils very scared soul. "If it isn't the blabber mouth." She said pointedly making Jake slowly step in the middle of them as Quil tried to hide from her heated glare. She never did like him. "Hammerhead...... pleasure. So Jane really had all you guys in her head. Paul's been talking about you non stop." And there he went with the blabbering. Now it was Leahs turn to snap at the two girls asking them just to leave if they were there to break the boys hearts any more. "Oh I'm sure he's been occupied." Hammerhead scoffed at the she wolf and walked to go inside where Emily and Sam sat talking. Sam's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets at the sight of Janes body. Emily squealed with excitement hugging the brittle looking girl who contained the anger to push her off.

"Oh- hammerhead..... sorry." Emily apologized and looked to Sam in worry that Jane had turned into hammerhead at the sight of Paul earlier. "Yeah yeah I'm hungry." She said taking a seat and eating the muffin on the table as Jake and Bella left her there and soon the pack all came clamoring inside to speak to the imprint who was dearly missed. "So Hammerhead what's it like hanging out with the leeches." Jared asked knowing she hadn't been the biggest fan before. She now shrugged stuffing her face before texting Emmett some more. "Eh some of them are really annoying, especially the blonde she's a raging bitch and she's not even on the rag ever. But I love her husband actually we are gonna watch the fight later." Hammer head exclaimed with an excited smirk as the boys asked who was fighting. Paul watched with narrow eyes though no liking the sound of who she was describing.

"Wait which one is the blondes husband the one that stares funny?" Embry asked and Hammerhead laughed loudly at the perfect description of Jasper. "No Emmett the big tall freak of nature one." She laughed as she roasted the men but Paul didn't even crack a smile. The others did seeing him jealous of the man he had fought in the past 48 hours on Saturday night. "So- where is Jane." Paul asked heatedly making Hammerhead sit back with a cruel smile. "None of your fucking business. And besides- I have no clue. Maybe she gone forever." She simply shrugged but everyone hoped that wasn't possible for Paul's sake. "So- you just let her disappear?" He asked getting annoyed but he was egging on the wrong person truth be told if hammerhead wasn't so tired form constantly being at the surface she would have hit him already.

"We didn't let her do anything. We woke up one day and she was just gone. Carlisle is trying to fix it." Hammerhead said with distrust for the man who kept trying to go through her head unsuccessfully. "But she will be Graduating soon..... she should be here for it." Emily said sadly but hammerhead shrugged resting her head into her hand tired of the short day. Soon shifting to someone else who had dark bags and everyone waited for the person to announce there name..... they didn't. "Maybe you should go take a nap." Emily asked seeing the girl was tired. "I'm not sleepy." Sylvia said in many different voices at one that sounded creepy.

"Oh god that's- terrifying." Jared mumbled but Sylvia still heard it and looked at him with a creepy head turn making him shiver and go wide eyed. She soon shifted again to someone a little more friendly.... Penny. "I-o-o- oh d-d-dear me." The British girl stuttered as the underground was exhausted without Jane. "Sorry- a-about that. I-I-it's been rough without Jane." She six wide eyed and looking at her fingernails as she played with them. "You said Carlisle is working on something for Jane to fix her?" Paul asked and Jane nodded even though it hadn't been her. "A-a machine. T-t-t to find Jane. We've s- sus- suspected she's hiding in the memories." Penny explained making Paul looked confused.

"So if he can see them why hadn't he seen her yet." He asked and Penny shrugged looking intimidated. "He- uh- says he doesn't have the connection to see anything clear enough." She says making an idea come to Sam. "Paul we could see if Carlisle could have you try." Sam said making Paul scrunch up his face in hatred at even the mention of a Cullen let alone go to their cave? "Do it for Jane." Sam sighed making Paul growl to himself but nod...... he did feel responsible. And so the wolves would need to team up with the Cullens but unaware to all of them it was gonna be for more then just finding Jane.
