The next morning, Huang Dewei slowly opened his eyes as he sat up on the bed. He rubbed his ears and yawned as he looked around and he was all alone. Wang Lei was gone and for a second Huang Dewei thought, he was dreaming about it when he saw a note on his side table 'After reading the note, he realised last night everything was real and then he remembered his warm embrace.

Huang Dewei turned red as he looked at the blanket and smell it. It smell like him...he laid back down on the bed and closed his eyes as he could feel his smell....a living proof that he was here. His scent was everywhere on his bed and he could not help and desire forbidden things. As he came back to his sense he quickly shook away his head and came out from the bed. He was feeling all fine now and it was all thanks to Wang Lei who came and helped him all night.

He felt a sudden desire to run and see him...he wanted to see him. He quickly clean up his room, change his clothes and headed towards his office. He reached the main palace and towards his office chamber where he saw Cheng standing outside of his door. They both greeted each other.

'Your highness is not in his office chamber. He is at royal meeting court.' Cheng informed him and Huang Dewei nodded his head. The royal meeting is a meeting that took place between his highness and all the other ministers where they told him about what is happening and what needed to be done to improve the country's wellbeing. It was a discussion meeting that could include a discussion regarding the financial and business state of the country, war and peace agreements happening with other countries, and crimes and complaints of the nation. Everything was presented in front of Wang Lei and he made a decision regarding it. People from the palace were only allowed inside hence Huang Dewei can go too.

Huang Dewei decided to go to the Royal meeting and started walking. He reached outside the royal meeting court and entered inside. He walked and sat down at the back of the row where other guards and servants were also sitting. It was his first time in the Royal meeting palace. He looked up and saw him sitting on a throne at the top of his chair while others sat in front of him on the ground in a respectful manner. Huang Dewei looked at his powerful aura as he heard him speak in an authoritative tone.

'If the ruler of Qi sector wanted to make peace with us then set up his meeting with me. I would love to meet the ruler hence minister of international affairs I order you to invite them over on dinner by next week.' Wang Lei ordered in response everyone else nodded their head and Huang Dewei could not believe it was the same man who took care of him last night. No one would have believed that it was the same man who was sitting like a stone-cold heartless man on a throne right now was the same man who hugged Huang Dewei softly to keep him warm and begged him to call out his name last night. Huang Dewei could not help and smile as his gaze followed and stop on a person sitting at the right side of him... a little far away from him and his breath stopped. It was Xin Ying.

That was the first time he was seeing and he felt stupid that he did not think she would be here too. She was sitting quietly listening and just nodding her head. She looked dull and not so happy. Huang Dewei tried to hide behind other people as he saw her looking all sad and miserable. Is she not happy with Wang Lei? Yeah he knows she loved him and they wanted to be together but how she can not desire a man like Wang Lei. Huang Dewei thought as he stares towards her and he felt bad for her. He really wanted to talk to her and he does not like the fact that she was looking sad. He wanted to ask what was wrong and now he was thinking of a way to meet her as soon as possible. The time slowly was passing as Wang Lei made decisions and listened to what others had to say while all Huang Dewei did was stare towards silent and quiet Xin Ying when he heard Wang Lei

'Is there something else I need to know about?' Wang Lei asked as everyone else shook their head when one man slowly stood up from his place.

'Yes, your highness. I have something I need to tell you.' The man said in a strong clear voice whereas their ministers groaned annoyed. Huang Dewei looked away from Xi Ying towards the young man standing in the court hall respectfully in front of Wang Lei and then his gaze fell on Wang Lei whose expressions soften first time in the whole court hearing. Huang Dewei's expression got harder as he glared at a young man standing in front of him. He was a good looking man with long black hair, grey eyes, a sharp haw line and tall height. He was probably the same age as Wang Lei.

'Who is he?' Huang Dewei asked in disliked tone from the guy who was sitting next to him.

'He is Feng Zhi, son of the minister of culture. He is also his highness's best friend from childhood. He knows his highness the most and he is very loyal to him. He is also a minister of the public. Youngest minister in the country. He works to ensure everything is fine for the public and leads their issues to his highness. He is the most trusted person to his highness and they are very close. He was on a trip from past month going town to town to ensure everything is fine for the public and listen to their complaints or look out for the issues.' The man next to him explained everything and Huang Dewei nodded his head as he was looking towards them as Wang Lei spoke up

'What is it Feng Zhi?' Wang Lei asked in a soft manner and Huang Dewei frowned for being soft to him which he rarely does with anyone

'Your highness, three bodies of the young boys were found in different towns. All of them were murdered in the same suspicious manner. They all were killed by cutting their throats. All the families are extremely poor and those kids were reported to be run away some time back.' Feng Zhi said as Wang Lei nodded his head while thinking hard

'Don't you think you are overthinking it? They all run off and probably were killed as they probably got in touch with bad guys. These kids of poor families think too naive. They always run off from their homes without realising how cruel the outside world is.' Minister of culture, Li Bolin said in a hated and disgusted tone as he was looking down on poor kids. Huang Dewei felt humiliated because he belong in the same line. He was also poor and a servant.

'I did my investigation and believe the police did a bad job. Those kids probably went missing instead of running away as I talk to their parents.' Feng Zhi said as he glared at that man and looked back towards Wang Lei who was all silent

'Are you really going to believe those poor people's statement instead of the police investigation? You really are naive.' Another minister of culture, Da Chang said sarcastically and Huang Dewei felt angry for being looked down and other guards and servants also felt humiliated but none of them said a word...probably they were used to it.

'Every life matter does not matter it belongs to poor or rich.' Feng Zhi said as he looked up towards Wang Lei who nodded his head.

'But your highness, I believe you have a lot more important stuff to do such as meeting the ruler of Qi country to form a peace commitment between both countries. It will be helpful for all of us if we will be able to form peace with them, we can start the import and export of fruits with them. They are known to grow fruits in their country which Wang Dynasty is struggling with at this moment. I don't think it is a good idea for you to personally investigate this. It is a small matter.' Minister of war, Li Qiang said as Wang Lei looked at him. He seems deep in thoughts whereas Huang Dewei felt angry, Why do poor people's issues matter less to them. The fruit was a luxury item that only the rich can afford and enjoy. Poor people are happy with their rice and curry. Huang Dewei really wanted Wang Lei to take up the case and investigate himself. Young kids dying was not a small matter even though they were poor. He was a King of the country so his poor nation should matter to him as much as his rich elite people.

'But your highness, I don't think it is a small matter.' Fend Zhi said as he tried to convince Wang Lei. Huang Dewei was also praying that Wang Lei will take this matter into his own hands when he heard him.

'You can keep investigating that matter and let me know if you find anything else. For now, meeting with the ruler of the Qi country is more important.' Wang Lei said and Feng Zhi nodded his head whereas Huang Dewei disappointed sighed. He thought Wang Lei will give importance to poor people.

Everyone cheered on his decision except Feng Zhi and the poor servants at the back when Wang Lei looked around everywhere and his eyes met with Huang Dewei. He was surprised to see him and then he remembered his body wrapped in his arms...he felt his warmth around his body....and then he remember his lips moving to take his name...Wang Lei came back as soon he woke up and he was disturbed over his behaviour last night. He usually never care like this for his servant...he was taking care of him like he was his lover and it was not right.

Also, rumours that he stayed in his room last night spend it won't be good for Huang Dewei...these rich people will eat him up. Even Wang Lei was married and had two mistresses for him...he never really fell in love with any of them nor with anyone else except once when he was betrayed then how Huang Dewei was different. After his last betrayer in love, he never felt these extreme levels of feeling for someone as much as he felt for Huang Dewei ever before. Wang Lei was allowed to have as many mistresses as he wanted but he did not however, the Emperor was forced to have at least three just a placement to give him a child in case the Empress could not. And these mistresses were from respectful families and being a mistress of the Emperor was also found to be an honourable statue in the society.

Huang Dewei saw him looking and he disappointed frowned and looked away. He wanted to show him that he did not like his decision and he had no idea why he did that. He also has no idea where he got the courage to act like this in front of King. Wang Lei was surprised over his reaction and then he did not like it that he was not happy with his decision. Why does his approval matter? Wang Lei thought as he kept looking towards him. Fend Zhi noticed Wang Lei's gaze fixed on something hence he followed his gaze and looked towards Huang Dewei. He wonders who was he? He had never seen him before and why he was important that Wang Lei was staring at him with emotion-filled eyes.

'We are done for today.' Wang Lei said as he stood up from his chair and everyone also stood up in his respect. Wang Lei walked out from the courthouse and slowly everyone else also started moving. Huang Dewei looked at the quiet and sad Xin Ying one last time who was also gone out under the guidance of her servant and then he also came out from the courthouse with everyone else and run after Wang Lei who was walking back towards his office chamber. He run and caught up with him who was walking all alone. H probably asked his servant that he wanted to be left alone. Huang Dewei run to catch up with him and stopped next to him then slowly started walking with him trying to meet his steps.
