《Love Returns (Blake/You) ✔️》Chapter 11

The rest of my date with Blake went perfectly. It was everything I wanted it to be. But like all dates, they must come to and end. So when I dropped her off at her house that night I couldn't help but steal a few more kisses before she went inside. I wasn't able to hangout with Blake on Saturday because her father was taking her to visit Yale on their private jet.
I'm starting to really wonder how much money her family has at this point.
And now I'm just trying to make it through tonight's Sunday dinner with my siblings hounding my ass.
"When are we gonna meet your girlfriend? I heard Dad and Mom have already met her!" Garrett says as he takes a shot at the basketball hoop in the driveway.
"Yeah, and I heard she stayed the night. I'm surprised Mom didn't freak out." Scott says as he takes a shot.
"Me too if I'm being honest. I was expecting Mom to yell at me after she left. But she didn't." I say as I take the next shot.
"Mom must really like her then." Garrett says as he grabs the rebound.
"I know Dad was pretty fond of her too." Scott says as he tries to contest Garrett's shot.
"I heard Ali's not too fond of her though." Garrett says with a small chuckle.
"That's because Blake's best friend is now seeing Colton."
"That definitely explains it." Scott says, causing me to chuckle.
"Dinners ready." Speak of the devil. We all turn to see my twin with her hands on her hips. She rolls her eyes at all three of us before heading back into the house.
Scott throws the ball up and it rolls down the driveway.
"I got it." I say as the two head inside the house for dinner. I walk down the driveway and go to grab the ball when a car pulls up.
The ball stops as it hits the wheel perfectly and my eyes widen. Blake gets out of the car and tells her driver bye as she bends down to grab the ball.
She looks so damn good and it makes my heart race as she gives me a genuine smile. She slowly walks towards me as we close the distance and tosses me the ball. I catch it before she cups my face with her hands and pulls me down into a sweet kiss.
I feel her fingers trace my jawline as we pull apart. I can't help but smile as I take in this beautiful girl's face.
"How was your trip?" I softly ask and she sighs heavily letting me know it didn't go well.
"All my Dad did the whole time was lecture me and then ignore me as business calls came through. It was boring and I would rather have spent the day with you." She says with a small smile before kissing my lips again.
"Are you hungry?" I ask and Blake's eyes light up causing me to chuckle.
"Come on, my Mom made Sunday dinner." I softly say as I grab her hand within my own and my other hand holds the ball.
As we walk up the driveway I place the ball down by the porch before walking up it with Blake by my side.

As we enter the house I can already hear talking and laughter coming from the dining room.
I lead Blake into the living room and as I enter all eyes fall on us. Forks hit the plates and my brothers eyes widen as their mouths fall agape.
"Can we make room for one more Ma?" I ask and she smiles brightly at the sight of the girl holding my hand.
"Of course honey." My mother says as she stands from the table to gather a plate and glass for Blake.
I watch as my Dad kicks my brother Garrett under the table causing him hiss before getting up and grabbing an extra chair to pull up. He places it next to my spot and gives Blake a small smile.
"It's great to see you Blake." My father says as he stands and pulls the girl into a hug catching me off guard along with Blake as well. She hugs him back and it's my mother's turn to hug her.
"You look so beautiful sweetie." My mother says causing Blake to blush and smile brightly at my mother.
"Thank you Jen. But you are just as gorgeous." Blake says making my mother smile brightly now.
"Let's sit and eat!" My mother says and we all take our seats.
I sit down next to my twin who has not once looked up at me or Blake. I hear her scoff before taking a bite of her food.
"Blake, this is my oldest brother Scott and my older brother Garrett." I say introducing my girlfriend to my brothers.
My girlfriend, that I'll never get used to.
"It's great to meet you Blake. Y/N talks so much about you." Scott says with a smirk and I look at him with narrowed eyes.
"Yes it's nice to meet the girl who has our little sister so whipped." Garrett says and they both chuckle before my dad gives them a stern look.
"How was your trip to Yale sweetie?" My mother asks as she passes a dish to Blake.
"It was okay. I honestly would have rather spent my time here." She says sadly and I watch my mother frown before reaching out for Blake's free hand.
"You are always welcome here." My mother says making Blake smile sadly.
"Thank you." She softly says before passing me the dish.
We all pass around the rest of the dishes and begin to eat as a family.
I can't help but smile as I watch Blake fit in with my family perfectly. Lots of laughs and stories are shared and it only makes me realize how right Blake is for me.
Alison surprisingly kept her mouth shut the whole time, but that's exactly what she did. She didn't engage in the conversations or even tell Blake hi. It honestly pissed me off but I'd rather not fight with my sister at the moment.
When everyone is finished the guys head into the living room to watch the football game. Alison disappears upstairs and it's just Blake, my mother, and myself.
"I'll help you clean up Ma." I say as I start gathering dishes.
"Thanks baby." She says and my cheeks burn red as I look at her with pleading eyes. I hear Blake giggle from beside me and I just shake my head.

"I'll help you guys." Blake says as she stands up gathering some dishes.
"Oh honey no, you're a guest.."
"I insist." Blake says and my mother genuinely smiles at the girl.
The three of us get the table cleared and we get the dishes cleaned off and placed inside the dishwasher.
"Thank you two for helping me clean up." My mother says as she softly rubs our arms as we stand side by side.
"Y/N if you're going to take her home make sure your back by ten it's a school night." My mother says and I nod my head in understanding.
"If I don't get to tell you bye later I'll just do it now." My mother says as she pulls Blake into a hug.
"Thank you guys for having me." Blake softly says as my mother pulls away from the hug.
"Oh it's no problem honey. We love having you here." My mother says before she walks away and disappears out of the kitchen.
"I love your mom, she's so amazing." Blake softly says as she turns to look at me with a sad smile.
"I wish I had a mom like her." I feel my heart ache for the girl and I pull her into a hug. She wraps her arms underneath mine as I wrap mine around her shoulders as I rest my head on top of hers.
She pulls back and so do I as it allows me to look down at her beautiful face.
"So so pretty." I whisper causing her to smile and I dip my head down to attach my lips to hers in a sweet kiss.
When we pull apart her blue eyes shine up at me and I feel my heart beat roughly against my chest.
"What would you like to do?" I ask and she pretends like she's thinking before grabbing my hand and leading me into the living room where my brothers and my dad are.
They immediately take notice of us and my dad hits Garrett in the shoulder as he silently tells me brothers to scoot down on the couch.
I take a seat and instead of Blake sitting next to me, she sits in my lap catching me completely off guard.
I gulp and my brothers smirk before turning their eyes back to the tv.
We watch the game with the guys until it's over and I realize it's eight thirty.
"Don't you have to be home by nine?" I ask the blonde and she shrugs her shoulders.
"I don't want your parents to hate me Blake." I whisper as I try to stand up. She gets the hint and gets off my lap.
"I'm going to take Blake home then I'll be back." I say to my dad who nods his head.
"It was great to see you again Blake." My dad says as he stands up. She says a small thank you and he hugs her as I look to my brothers who give me a head nod in approval.
"It was great meeting you guys." Blake says to my brothers who nod their heads at her with a small smile.
Blake intertwines our fingers together as I lead us out to my car. I open the door for her and she gives me a kiss on the cheek before getting inside.
I follow and get inside the driver's seat. I start up the car and back out of the driveway, making my journey towards Blake's.
She moves my hand into her lap and she holds my hand all the way home.
"Your family is amazing." She softly says as we grow closer to her house.
"Trust me, it's not always like this. We all fight just like any regular family." I say as I take a turn.
"Well I definitely would take your family over my own."
"Do you see or talk to your sisters or brother much?" I ask the girl who releases a sad sigh.
"Not really. They're all busy with their own lives. I get texts from them every so often. They actually talk to me more than my parents do."
"Well I can't wait to meet the rest of your family some day." I softly say, causing her to chuckle.
"What?" I ask softly and she just shakes her head with another small laugh.
"After you meet the rest of my family they will scare you off. I'm sure of it." She sadly says and I use my thumb to rub the back of her hand.
"Oh they can't be that bad."
"I guess it depends which siblings you talk to." Blake says as I pull up to her driveway. She gets out to punch in the code and the gates open so I can drive through.
"When will I see you again?" I ask softly as we grow closer to her house.
"Are you doing anything Wednesday after school?" She asks and I shake my head no.
"Why don't you pick me up from school and we'll do something." She softly says and I smile as I pull right up to her house. I put the car in park before turning to look at the girl who's managed to steal my heart.
"Sounds like a great plan." I softly say, causing her to smile.
"That's because it is." She says, causing me to chuckle.
"I'll text you okay?" She softly says and I nod my head in understanding.
Blake unbuckles her seatbelt before reaching over the console and capturing my lips within hers.
I kiss her back with just as much passion before she pulls away with a breathtaking smile.
"I love you." She softly says and I bring my hand up to cup her cheek.
"I love you too." I say before she turns her face in my hand and kisses it. She pulls away and I watch her get out of my car and walk towards her front door. She gives me one last look over her shoulder and I can feel my heart pounding in my chest just by looking into those blue eyes that I love.
Wednesday can't come soon enough.
