《pls why is he so innocent》One-shot No ANHS

Kei had been working at this McDonald's for a few weeks now and it was stressful, especially since it was just a bunch of teens + Ms. Manager.
First there had been Horikita, who was there for just a bit more than Kei, she was a cashier. Quick, and straight to the point. She was super cold and arrogant, especially for someone working in a Mickey D's.
Then there was Sudo. He was at the drive through. He had a horrible temper, and was even dumber than he was mad. So he got confused most of the time. This ended up in yelling, which resulted in the drivers yelling. So much yelling.
Kushida was definitely one of the nicest. Not really Kei style but she didn't mind spending lunch break with her. She was a cashier and always had a smile on her face and was ready to greet anybody with a warm smile.
Then there was Ike, he was a cook. He's kind of a pervert though. Always staring at Kushida's bust. He does on okay job, however sometimes we get complaints about undercooked food.
Yamauchi was definitely the biggest perv there too. He was supposed to be a cook too, but he always left it to someone else and started at the girls. It's bound to happen that he is going to get fired soon.
Sotomura was usually the one has to cook instead of Yamauchi, not that he really minds since he gets paid more for it. He does mind however Yamauchi almost letting the fries dry up.
Kei herself was also a cook and more of a backup in case they needed more hands on deck, which hasn been happening more recently.
Sometimes Kei sees this one man with longer purple hair and a firm build. He always pays in cash and usually has one or two "lackeys" behind him. He is very up front and kind of arrogant, and he called Horikita and Kushida their names by reading it off their name tags.

ugh who even does that.
Though the short blue haired girl her brings along sometimes isn't that bad.
Sometimes some really nice girls come in. One had introduced herself to Kushida, Honami. She was top in looks, smarts, and if the way she dressed was any clue, money as well.
It explains why she only comes occasionally, and looks like she is here to chat more than eat.
Sometimes they get a small white haired costumer, who orders something small and sits close to a window with more light to read. Sometimes the books look huge, like Kei would sell her soul to understand a single thing going on. Other times they look like simple mystery books. She looks like she enjoys the quieter days.
Today was a slower day since it was the middle of the week. Kei was at the counter, bored out of her mind. She looked over when the door opened.
Two people walked in. A youngish looking girl with lilac hair and a barrette, and a good looking gloomy guy. Both obviously rich. The casual flex of expensive products is a huge clue. They also were in the middle of a conversation.
"-actually never eaten fast food?"
"No, you've seen where I grew up you think he would let me?"
"Hmm, you make a good point,"
"I made the only needed point,"
Ah they finally reached the counter, they went over to Horikita. One of them looks at ease and the other one has an air of awkwardness around them. The kind when you are in an unfamiliar place.
The guy was scanning over the menu while the girl ordered, seemed like she had already had her's in mind. When he made up his mind he was about to speak when Horikita got loud.

"Did you come here without your order in mind?"
Oh no.
The guy looked at her in confusion, Kei thinks. Kinda hard to tell when his facial expressions don't change.
The girl looked like she was having a bit of fun, that or she was about to call the police on Horikita.
"I mean everyone goes to McDonald's, shouldn't you know what you want?" She went on. Apparently, she hadn't been listening in on their earlier conversation, that or Kei is nosy.
Oh well.
The guy looked at her, then looked at his friend obviously asking how to deal with this without asking how to deal with this.
His friend giggled a bit before stepping up, and ordered for him, completely calm. And as if Horikita hadn't been yelling at them a while before.
This just got Horikita more mad.
'Yeah this is enough before Sudo decides to step in and we get sued' Kei thought before she stepped in. Moving Horikita to the side.
"And would you like any sauce with that," she asked, sweat dropping at the thud Horikita made when she shoved her.
"Fufu, no thank you" the girl said, the guy now looked a bit dazed, still confused, but Kei would be too.
"Alright you total is $##.##" Kei said and was kind of surprised when they guy came up to pay, but even more surprised when he pulled up a black card.
They quickly payed and went on they're way.
"You took your father's black card?"
"Like it's hard?"

Overseer (Dwarf Fortress x Worm)
A young woman gains the power to make elements of a saved game real. She must then survive the assault of a coordinated attack by some of the deadliest parahumans on the planet - he same group of murderhobos that caused her the mental trauma that resulted in her gaining her powers to begin with. This is a crossover fiction between the most complicated game ever created, 'Dwarf Fortress' by Toady One, and an extensive grimdark superpower genre serial fiction called 'Worm' by Wildbow. It is violent and there are some references to sex in it, so it's probably not fit for young children to read, and persons not familiar with Dwarf Fortress or Worm might be confused by some elements, but I feel confident that it stands reasonably well on it's own. This crossover is complete. I posted it here in it's entirety all at once. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
