the young girl slowly made her way through her loved one's house

crimson liquid stained the girl's hand, dripping behind her

the sick, not sick, girl stops in front of the metal door of the basement

the wooden stairs leading to the hidden room were old and squeaky,

and the girl worried that the sounds would wake her loved one from her sleep

so, she slowly and quietly climbs down, making sure to not disturb her lovely, not so lovely, girlfriend

this time, she walks to the sink in the corner of the dark room, washing off the sticky blood that painted her hands

once clean she lays down on the bed that she shared with her beloved girlfriend

she studied her face, memorizing every crease and feature like it's the last time she'll ever see -what was in her eyes- true beauty

she held her cheeck and caressed it, oh how she longed for her touch

the girl looked at the dead, tired eyes staring back at her

her skin was so cold

lisa missed her girlfriends warmth

she takes her keys and drives to her university

the 19 year old girl parks on the green and soft grass, outside the entrance

she leaves a note in her car

the empty hallways echoed the girl's steps

up the stairs, to the rooftop

she looks down, she could see the sun starting to rise

and the sick, not sick, girl jumps
