The storm is here.

Blinded by rage, Becky energetically walks in circle in the middle of a silent room. Her teammates are looking down, except for Kelley and Ash.

"How could they have one of them beaten up ?" The captain explains, out of her mind.

Even though those last few weeks have been quite good in terms of games, it has been the worse weeks of Becky's life. First of all, she still is battling her injuries. Second, she hasn't seen Shelina or even heard about her until now. And finally, she knows something big will happen.

Ash shakes her head.

"Why do we care ?" Kelley asks, raising hr eyebrows. "It's not like one of us has been beaten up Becks."

"Well, not just beaten up" Tobin says, frowning. "That girl is in the emergency room. They broke her arm and got her a concussion." she then settles, as her teammates are looking at her, in shock.

"Wait" Allie says, confused. "Why would they break one of their best player's arm before the Final Four ?"

Her question makes sense, but Becky doesn't even hear it. She is dying in then inside.

They hurt Shelina this time. And this is all my fault.

Those words have been running into Becky's mind since she got here and heard the news. Someone told them about us. There is no other explanation. She shakes her head, as the tears are growing in her eyes.

Kelley frowns.

"The most important question right now is why is Becky crying" she settled, her arms crossed against her chest.

Before the captain can say anything, Ashlyn is the one saying in a harsh voice :

"Because she is in love with that Zadorsky girl".

Becky's world falls apart.

All her teammates are looking at her, in shock, just waiting for her to deny it. She sees Kelley's deception, Allie's concern, the way Tobin's eyes have become darker. All the rookies have their hands on their mouths and, most importantly, Ash has her jaw set.

That's when it strikes Becky. Kopmeyer would never have done that to her best friend. She would never have betrayed her. The blood is running in her veins faster, as she stops crying.

She then says :

"You told them."

If there is one thing the girls all understand, it's that something in Becky's voice has changed. The usually so calm and collected captain is boiling in the inside, as the goalkeeper stares at her, confident. The small smile she has on her lips confirms Becky's thinking, but the captain needs to say it.

She needs to elaborate.

"You told them knowing very well that they would do that to Shelina. You knew she meant the world to me and still, you sold her health so that they'd lose their key defender. You did that. You hurt her."

"You betrayed us." is all Ash says in cold blood.

That's when Becky loses it.

Her fist immediately finds Ash's face, as the keeper takes one step back. The girls - Kelsey, Kelley, Allie and Tobin - immediately separate them, as the others just remain still, holding their breathing. Fortunately for Ash, Kelsey has a good grip and is able to restrain Becky from coming at her again.

Becky is out of control, as her rage is growing second after second.

"YOU DON'T GET TO TAKE HER AWAY FROM ME. YOU DON'T GET TO DECIDE. YOU ARE DEAD TO ME, ASHLYN. DO YOU HEAR ME ?"

"Becky" Allie says, grabbing the girl's face in between her hands, trying to make eye-contact with her, as Tobin and Kelley are making the goalie stepping back. "Becky, Becky, stop. Calm do-"

"YOU NEVER TOUCH HER AGAIN, OTHERWISE-"

"Becky."

Time stops, as everyone look in the door's direction. Haley Kopmeyer is here, out of breath.

Ash rolls her eyes.

"Great, now the fam is back together, right ?"

"Dude, shut up" Kelley orders.

There is a small silence, during which Haley stares at Becky.

"I will drive you to the hospital where she is being taken care of." The goalie says, dead serious.

Becky gets away from Kelsey's embrace, before looking at all her teammates, saving Ash for the end. She hurt Shelina, this sentence is running in circles in her head.

Right after grabbing her things, she looks at the team and says :

"You guys should find a new captain."

She then follows Kop outside, and the room falls into silence once again.

Kailen - I think I did an huge mistake, baby girl.

That's it.

No further answers on Megan's thirty textes and fourty missed calls since only yesterday. The blonde, who is quite persistent whenever it comes to things she cares about, decides to text back, even though she knows she has few chances for Kailen to answer.

The goalie never admits her mistakes, so when she does it's gotta be an huge mistake.

Megan - look, we can sort this out. please text me back

She then puts her phone on her bag, knowing very well that the debate that burst out in the room is something she definitely needs to hear if she wants to understand something. She was quite shocked about the whole Becky-Shelina situation, and to be honest she never thought she'd need that in her life, in the way that Becky is having or had a similar forbidden relationship than Megan has.

People are getting angry here, as Ash didn't even apologize for selling Shelina. The goalie is standing right in front of Kelley, who is out of her mind : with Becky, those three are the veterans, the girls that all lived together. From year one to year four, they've been here for each other in a way younger girls couldn't quite understand.

And something just ruined everything.

"So now I'm the bad guy ?!" Ash sarcastically exclaims, raising her hands in the air, laughing her ass off. "Well then, look at me I'm Cruella and I'm going to steal your freaking dogs !"

"You don't get to do sarcasm right now" Kelley harshly says, trying to contain her rage. "This whole situation got way out of hands."

"Becky's fault" Ash yells, looking around her, confident. "But there again, nobody is blaming her!"

"You know her more than anyone here except me, Ash! How can you have done such a thing to her ? She has given her whole to this team, dedicated hours just to keep us safe. One wrong step and you do that to her ?"

There again, the keeper bursts into laughter, as Kelley is boiling in the inside.

"One wrong step ?" Ash repeats, laughing again. She has this annoying facial expression right now, a mixture of a smirk and a grin. "This isn't one wrong step, this is a freaking treason ! She slept with the enemy ! And even much worse : she fell in love with her !"

"Oh, so you are saying Becky fell in love with that girl on purpose ? Like, 'oh, what about a little drama to make the day more interesting ?'" Julie says, also pretty angry. "This excuse is just stupid, Ashlyn, and you know it. All you wanted to do was harm Stanford, but by doing so you made us lose our MVP, our captain, and most importantly : a friend that sticked by our sides days and nights, making sure we don't end up on the wrong path. This is what I call treason."

There is a meaningful silence in the room, as Julie is now facing Ashlyn, who starts getting angrier as well. But the blonde doesn't care.

Kelley, on the other hand, is looking at Tobin, who just got up. Her voice and tone are calm, even though her eyes are throwing daggers at the goalie. Of course she didn't want things to come to that. But Ash broke something in the team.

"JJ's right" Tobin says, before looking at one of her best friend in the eyes and say : "I don't know why you would belong here while Becky doesn't."

Ash bursts into laughter.

"This is a freaking joke, right ?" She exclaims, looking at the other players, smirking.

"Ash" Kelsey calmly says, shaking her head. "We are a team, which means we have each other's back. No matter what happens. No matter who we date, who we love, who we have sex with, who we are banging out with. And if you are not okay with that - just like every other freaking person is - then you should leave."

This time, the other goalie isn't smiling anymore. She looks around her, but everyone seems to agree with Kelley, Kelsey and Julie.

The shorthaired shakes her head.

"Very well, your loss." she only lets out, before starting to walk away from her teammates.

Kelley puts herself on the way though.

"I'm sorry things turned out like that" the brunette says, honest.

But Ashlyn's worse side is coming back to life, as she says :

"I'm not. See you on the pitch sooner than you might think..."

She then leaves the room, more upset than ever, and all the girls fall into silence, a deep, heartbroken silence. Today they stood for Becky, and lost Ashlyn.

Megan, after a few minutes, feels her phone buzzing. When she reads Kailen's text, she just remains still, her jaw dropping, absolutely terrified.

Kailen - They made me talk about Shelina to then blame Ashlyn so that she'd get kicked out of your team. . She's with them now, they just signed the contract. It's been their plan all along.

Kailen - I'm so sorry, I swear I didn't know about what they'd do to my friend, I-....

But Megan has got too many tears in her eyes to read the end of the text. She has now two choices :

1. She either tells the team that Ashlyn and Stanford framed Kailen to get rid of her and take the advantage over UCLA because Ash knows everything about the team ; or

2. She tells the truth to the team about het relationship with Kailen and risks to be kicked out of the team as well.

After realizing those two choices ultimately lead her to revealing her affair with Kailen, Megan sighs and type :

Megan - I got your back baby girl.

Kailen - I got kicked out of the team... I dont know how my parents are going to react

Kailen - tell Shelina I love her and never wanted any of this to happen.

Kailen - and I love you, forever

Kailen - goodbye Meggy.

(Logged off)

There is a big noise in the room, as Megan's glass of water slipped from her hand and crashed in the ground. She suddenly realized what's happening :

Kailen is going to kill herself.
