Alright.

Who to call first?

Let's start with her.

"Hello?"

"Sofia?"

"What's up coach?" Sofia Huerta asks through the phone.

"Have you ever been to Australia?" I ask.

"Yeah." Sofia says "I went on loan there a few times."

"Think you could show me a good coffee spot?" I question. "I think we'll need it if we're gonna be there for a month."

"Does this mean what I think it means?" Sofia giddily asks.

"Congratulations Sofia." I say with a smile. "You're going to the World Cup."

"OH MY GOD." Sofia yells. "Sorry."

"It's fine." I say and chuckle. "You can call your family and tell them, but wait to talk publicly about it until the social media team post the roster."

"Of course."

"Congratulations again Sofia."

"Thanks coach."

Sofia hangs up and I check her name off the list then I look down the list to see who to call next.

I know what I'll do.

"Alright girls." I say and tickle my two favorite girls who are laying in the crib next to me in my office. "Let's get you two dressed."

I dress my girls in their outfits then we head to the living room.

"There's my three favorite girls." Tobin says.

"Our daughters have something to tell you." I say then place Ingrid and Kasey in Tobin's lap.

"Aww." Tobin says after reading what's on the twins clothes. "That's so cute."

One twins onesie says 'Congrats Mommy' and the other twins onesie says 'Playdate in Australia?'

Tobin kisses the girl cheeks then she looks up at me.

"Did you here the news?" Tobin asks.

"What's news?" I question as I sit down next to my Boo Bear.

"You remember the incident where Chapman pushed Casey Short and Ashley Hatch into Jane?"

"Yeah?"

"Jane broke her arm, Ashley broke her ankle and Casey has a leg injury."

"Great." I say sarcastically.

"So what does that mean for your plans for the team?" Tobin questions.

"Well with Jane being injured that means AD is gonna be the third choice keeper. Casey was going to be the back up left back so I guess Kristie will be our back up left back and I'll look at the options and see who to take as one of the back up forwards."

"Oh the joys of being the Manager." Tobin teases then she leans over and pecks my lips. "I'll watch the Rugrats with our Rugrats while you finish up then the four of us can go out to eat for our anniversary."

"Sounds great." I say then kiss my wife.

Once Tobin and I break for air I get off the couch, head back to my office, and continue making calls.

After I make a bunch a calls I look down at my list and see who all I have left to call.

When I get to the end of the list I decided to call Christen and Alex at the same time.

"Hello?" Christen says when she picks up the phone

"Hey Pressy." I say.

"Hey Astrid what's up?"

"Are you with Alex?" I question.

"Hey Astrid." Alex says.

"So what's up?"

"Well how would you two feel about going to Australia and winning a 3rd straight World Cup?" I question.

"I'm down." Alex says.

"As long as you bring my favorite nieces I'm down." Christen says.

"Are they coming?" Alex questions

"They are." I say. "We're just gonna hand them off to either Tobin's parents or my parents during the games."

"Sweet." Christen says.

"Well I assume you two know the drill. No talking publicly until we announce the roster.

"Mhmm." Alex says.

"Well I'll see you guys in San Fran in a week." I say.

"Bye Astrid." The married couple says

"Bye." I say then hang up.

I then call my twin.

"Hey Astrid." Kelley whispers.

"Kelley why are you whispering?"

"I'm hiding from Hope."

"Why?"

"Well we were cooking and I may have dumped flour over her and now I'm hiding from her so she doesn't get me back."

"Well I just wanted to let you know that you made the team and will be going to Australia for the World Cup." I say.

"FUCK YEAH." Kelley yells.

"Found you." I hear Hope say.

"Hi." I hear Kelley say then I hear her squeal.

"Hope where's my sister?" I question.

"Currently she's cling onto my neck as I hold her." Hope says.

"What are you gonna do to her?"

"Throw her in the pool, dump flour over her, or maybe tickle her for a while."

"You know you could just withhold sex." I say.

"Or we could do something else Hopey." Kelley says.

"I think I'm gonna let you guys go." I say as I hear kissing. "BYE."

I quickly hang up the phone then shudder.

"Thank fuck all I heard was kissing." I mumble as I call Mal.

"ASTRID." Mal yells.

"Hey Mal Pal." I say with a smile. "Whatcha doin?"

"Lindsey and I just got home from picking up our food."

"Is it healthy?" I playfully ask.

".................No."

"I won't tell Dawn as long as you do something for me."

"What's that?"

"Think you and Lindsey could babysit the twins while Tobin and I have date night in Australia."

"Does this mean what I think it means?" Mal questions.

"Yes it does Mal."

"Lindsey I made the team." Mal says.

"Told you." I hear Lindsey say then I hear kissing.

"You two know I'm still on the Phone right?" I question.

"Sorry." The Coloradans say in unison.

"So where did you two go get food from?" I ask.

"Mal wanted cheese cake factory." Lindsey says.

"I wanted to celebrate today, but I didn't wanna leave our apartment." Mal says.

"Celebrate?" I question.

"Lindsey and I are engaged." Mal giddily says.

"WHAT?" I shout. "I really hope the kids aren't asleep."

"What's with all the shouting?" My wife asks as she walks into the room with our kids who are awake.

"Oh good their awake." I say then I look at my wife and take the kids from her. "Mal and Lindsey have something to tell you."

"We're engaged Tobs." Lindsey says so I do my best to cover our daughter's ears.

"WHAT?" My wife shouts.

Obviously Tobin and I knew, but we were told Lindsey was gonna do it after the World Cup.

Tobin and I talk to the newly engaged couple for awhile then we hang up. Tobin then goes to get the girls ready for dinner while I check off Mal's name from the list.

After I check off Mal's name I let out a big sigh.

Now to call Casey, Jane, and Ashley then crush some dreams.
