Jang Woojin really wanted to die tonight. I was finishing my school works that would be due tomorrow but my room mate badly needs to practice for the marching band event. It did not help that he had to practice playing trombone which coincidentally is one of the loudest instruments out there.
I slammed my pen on my desk and stood up from my seat once I had enough. Marching my way inside his room, glaring daggers at him and if looks could kill, his funeral would already be held tomorrow morning. He put down their instrument, the fiery flames of anger that dancing in my eyes grew even more when I saw the smirk on his lips.
, he asked me.
The both of us locked gazes on one another before I exhaled deeply, , I angrily yelled.
He frowned at the choice of words I used at him, , he replied and crossed his arms over his chest.
My fist tightened on my sides before surging forward and pinning him to the wall. My hand pressed against his throat as we looked into each other's eyes as the tension rises between the two of us. I was intensely staring at his eyes before it landed on his lips, we were so close and now and there goes the butterflies in my stomach once again.
It was now evident that I panicking, making me shove him away from me, , I stammered before storming off from their room.
An hour and a half had already passed and it seems like that idiot took my word to heart when I said that I'm going to kill him the moment I hear another sound coming from his trombone hence I was finally able to finish my school works but the only problem was that my printer isn't working properly at the moment.

Glancing at the clock on the wall, it says 1:56 in the morning and I doubt the printshop is still opened at this hour. But I really need to print this right now because the papers are needed for our first period tomorrow morning. I began texting all of my friends but none of them replied because they're probably asleep already.
I was slowly losing hope when I suddenly remembered that Woojin also owned a printer. But why in the world would he let me use his printer, I hate him, he hates me, plus, I practically shoved him hard on the wall not long ago. I was contemplating in my seat for half an hour, whether I should take my chances or not.
Once I decided to lower down my pride just this once for the sake of my grades, I sighed in defeat and got up from my seat, taking my laptop with me as I made my way in front of the door to my sworn enemy's room. I took a deep breath before knocking softly three times, waiting for a response but nothing came.
Gulping nervously, I placed my hand on the doorknob and slowly twisted it. I pushed the door open, the lights were still on which made me furrow my eyebrows in confusion. The fuck? Why does he sleep with the lights on? Like who does that, what a weirdo. The questions in my head were briefly answer upon my gaze landing on the figure sitting at the desk.
He wasn't typing on his laptop or reading a book or answering something but instead he was sleeping. His head was resting on his desk using four of five books served as a pillow for his head while papers were scattered everywhere on the desk. Typical messy Jang Woojin.

Standing in front of him for a while, as much as I hate to admit it, he looked less annoying and more peaceful when he's asleep compared when he's wide awake. I didn't realize I was just standing there until I remembered that I needed to print something.
I tip toed over his desk, careful to not wake him up as I placed my laptop on the desk and plugged it to his printer. I looked over to him to ensure that he was still asleep before I opened the file from my laptop and clicked print. The owner slightly shifted when the printer started making printing noise, I was holding my breath as I watched the printer do its thing.
Once I was finally done, I slid my laptop back under my arm and slowly made my way towards the door when the floor beneath creaked a bit, the sound made me slightly jump in surprise and made Woojin stir awake. I froze on my spot, not daring to move not even the slightest bit as I saw my roommate stretching his arms over his head from the corner of my eye.
, I heard him say once he finally noticed me. I swiftly turned around to face him, , he questioned me with his eyebrows furrowed together.
I looked around the room, pretending to search for something, , I lied.
He scoffed and rolled his eyes, , he asked me, crossing his arms over his chest as he raised his eyebrows at me.
, I answered him sarcastically and turned to my heel.
I made my way to the door when I was stopped by him stepping in front of me, his gaze was focused on the printed material on my hands. , he mumbled.
, I argued back and crossed my arms over my chest, , I was about to continue listing of the things to rebut their previous comment when he clamped his palm over my mouth, to shut me the fuck up.
He chuckled as I struggled to get his hands off me, , he shushed me, I glared at him after he retreated his hands to his side, , he says and playfully smirked at me.
I glared at him even more, , I spat at him before shoving him aside so I can finally leave this shitty place he calls his room.

City of Champions Online
Having found the tragic truth that an art degree is worth less than the paper it is printed on, Jacquelyn Jones is frustrated with her dead end work as a graphic designer for a marketing firm, finding new ways to try and convince people that this week's 50 cent off sale is actually worth driving to the store. She's tried other VRMMORPGs, but they've all been fantasy-based, with a couple sci-fi games thrown in. But she wants something more, something Super. Superhero VRMMOs have had a... subpar reception in the past, in part due to the fact that the nature of most MMOs makes for fairly unheroic tales. After the couple hundredth time blasting the same group of mooks from the same faction on the same street corner of the same city, using the same powerset as everyone else because you only have a few options, it is hard to think of yourself as a hero anymore. But then she heard about City of Champions Online. For the first time, a developer partnered with a tabletop RPG maker to use their system to create a VRMMORPG, and it was one of the systems designed to be used with superhero games! And despite the name, there was no getting stuck in the same city as all the other players. The game world was a detailed replica of the real world, down to having some of the same shops and restaurants in town. She could be whoever she wanted, whatever she wanted.
