If people say Wei Wuxian wasn't feeling guilty...they were mad wrong.

Even after how many times the Jiangs had wronged him, he still feels guilty for Madam Yu getting whipped because the whipping or abuse had been confirmed.

He sighed again while looking at the moon.

Jiang Wanyin was in his quarters, Wei Wuxian moved to Nie Huaisang's quarters, Lan Qiren allowed him to stay till the end of the lectures if he wants or wishes to stay.

Madam Yu, Jiang Fengmian, Jiang Yanli, Jin Guangshan, and Madam Jin had left immediately after the punishment, the Zidian being given to Lan Qiren for safe keeping.

"Wei Ying, bunny, what are you doing up here?" Wei Wuxian flinched as he heard Lan Wangji's voice.

He softly sighed before smiling "I was...thinking." he looked back up on the moon.

Lan Wangji sat beside him "You're feeling guilty aren't you?"

"How did you know?"

Lan Wangji fixed the other's hair "You're too kind, it wasn't hard to guess, the punishment was lenient but it nearly killed her."

Wei Wuxian buried his face onto the other's chest "My relationship with the Jiangs will never be the same." Lan Wangji hummed "It might never be the same, but you have better things to find in the future."

He hugged Wei Wuxian close.

"Build your own road, find yourself, know your worth, it will take time but I'll be with you in every step of the way." he kissed Wei Wuxian's forehead.

"Your future lover would be jealous that you kissed my head Lan-er-gege." Wei Wuxian snickered as he lifted his face to make eye contact with Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji huffed 'There's only you.' he shook his head before standing up.

"Where are you going?" Wei Wuxian asked as Lan Wangji turned to look at him with a smile.

"Catch me?"

"Lan-er-gege are you asking me to play tag with you? Curfew is in a few and isn't running forbidden?" Wei Wuxian raised a brow "When did that stop you?" Lan Wangji winked and jumped of the wall.

Wei Wuxian laughed and followed behind.

He ran after the taller who somehow kept on dodging his hand in attempt to catch him.

"Lan Zhan!"

Lan Wangji turned and jumped on top of another roof before he was caught by Wei Wuxian.

"Get back here! Once I get my hands on you, you'll be in big trouble!"

Lan Wangji chuckled and the two were jumping roof to roof, running on the wall with Wei Wuxian trying to catch the taller.

Lan Wangji then jumped down to the direction of their bunnies which made Wei Wuxian go and take a detour.

Lan Wangji realized he was no longer being followed so he stopped and turned around to see if Wei Wuxian was nearby.

He knows his soulmate would be somewhere around here, but in which direction.

He was then pushed to the ground as Wei Wuxian hugged his back "I caught you!" He giggled.

"Mn, Wei Ying caught me."

Wei Wuxian smiled "Your turn!"

Wei Wuxian stood up and ran towards the bunnies but he wasn't able to go that far until his wrist was caught.

He gasped as Lan Wang pulled his wrist towards him and pinned Wei Wuxian on the ground.

Wei Wuxian blushed at how close their faces were at the moment.

The two stared at each other's eyes for a long moment.

Wei Wuxian had looked closely at how beautiful the Second Jade was up close, those golden eyes of his could hypnotize him whenever!

Lan Wangji leaned down and Wei Wuxian closed his eyes.

"I have caught you." he heard Lan Wangji whisper to his ears as he got up.

Wei Wuxian blinked as he watched Lan Wangji dust himself off.

'Did I just think of us both kissing!? Wei Wuxian control yourself!' He shook his head violently.

"You're going to break your neck if you keep shaking your head that hard." Lan Wangji helped him get up from the ground and dusted his robes.

"You've got a little..." Lan Wangji raised his hand and touched Wei Wuxian's bottom lip before removing the small grass that was on it.

"There, you're all cleaned up." he looked back at Wei Wuxian's face before he noticed that the younger was bright red.

He smirked "Are you blushing my bunny? Were you expecting a kiss?" He asked leaning in.

"W-WHA-" Wei Wuxian looked at the moon before awkwardly saying "Ahahaha-Would you look at that! It's passed curfew! Now I better go find Huaisang! He must be missing me! Hehehe-" he stepped back.

"I'Il see you last night-I mean tomorrow morning!" He ran off.

Lan Wangji pouted "If he wanted a kiss he could have just asked me." he then looked at the bunny who was chewing on his robes "Aren't I right Weiwei?"

Lan-er then arrived and stole Weiwei away.

"Why do the bunnies get a better love life than I do?"

Lan Wangji groaned before making his way towards the Jingshi.

When Wei Wuxian arrived in his shared room with Huaisang, the shorter man unfortunately didn't spare him.

"Wei-xiong, you told me you're going out for fresh air, why does it seem like someone kissed you senseless?"

Wei Wuxian looked at the Nie Heir scandalized "I haven't kissed anyone!" He squeaked out and Nie Huaisang looked at him with a face that says 'I don't believe you'.

"Okay I nearly got kissed but we didn't really kiss alright! No more questions! I'm sleeping early!"

Wei Wuxian quickly went over to his bed and covered himself with the blanket.

"Wei-xiong you didn't change your clothes."

"I DON'T CARE! I GOT A FEW MORE TO SPARE!"

Nie Huaisang pouted at the answer before he blew out the candles and headed off towards his own bed.

He didnt sleep right away as he was still thinking about what Jin Guangshan said.

"You are not above the law, nobody is, child abuse is not to be held gently Madam Yu." Jin Guangshan said "Unless you wish to discard some unpleasant information." her eyes widened and scowled "WHAT NONSENSE ARE YOU SPEAKING!?"

Knowing Jin Guangshan, he never does anything unless he benefits from it.

Which might be why he wanted the two to be whipped.

To be completely honest Nie Huaisang will say that this might be the only time Jin Guangshan earned his respect.

So what was that 'Unpleasant information' that Jin Guangshan knows but never said anything.

'Another secret for another time, I have a lot of gossip to work on.' he smiled to himself 'The Jiangs better stay standing before the war, or else the other plans will be useless.'

Wei Wuxian woke up earlier and got himself ready for breakfast.

When he arrived at the orchid room after breakfast he could hear all sorts of gossip.

Jiang Wanyin was still at bed rest since his back was still bleeding.

Wei Wuxian sighed he then saw Lan Wangji sat beside him "Bunny, are you feeling a little better?" Lan Wangji asked Wei Wuxian who nodded.

"How could I not when my Lan-er-gege kept me company." Wei Wuxian winked at

the older.

"Jiang Fen Jie probably heard of the news, I hope she won't be having a hard time." Wei Wuxian said suddenly.

"She did say that she'd follow you once the time would be right, she kept all the promises she gave you right?" Wei Wuxian thought about it before nodding.

"You're right, It's rude of me to doubt her."

"You're worried, it's normal bunny."

"Stop calling me that!" He hissed with a red face.

"Oh? Then what should I call you?" Lan Wangji then held out his hand to begin counting the names he'll be listing out. "Darling, sweetheart, Yingying, Baby, Baobei, Angel-"

"Alright! Alright! Keep it down! Master Lan Qiren is coming!"

Class had started.

During the lesson Wei Wuxian had wished he was able to stay in one place for a long period of time because now whenever he accidentally looks over to Lan Wangji's side, he would see the older wink.

If Lan Qiren was watching the exchange, he was doing a damn well job at keeping his qi in check.

Yesterday's commotion was already big enough, no need to let the healers deal with him.

After class Wei Wuxian walked with Lan Wangji towards the bunny field where suddenly, there are 10 bunnies.

"Did Zewu-Jun brought more?" Wei Wuxian looked at Lan Wangji who shrugged.

"Maybe he did, or maybe wild bunnies decided to join, good thing we brought more than enough food."

They started feeding the rabbits.

"Lan Zhan." he called out to the older.

"Mn?"

"After Jiang-Gongzi gets healed, I would like to go and explore." Wei Wuxian said looking at the bunnies.

Lan Wangji paused at hearing that, which made Wei Wuxian worried.

"You don't need to ask permission, you are allowed to do what you wish." Lan Wangji said before throwing himself onto the other man.

"Just remember to visit me once in a whileeee!" He whined at the younger.

Wei Wuxian sighed and shook his head "For a second I thought you would be mad! Don't scare me like that!"

"Can I atleast have a kiss on my cheek before you leave?"

"L-LAN ZHAN!"

Wei Wuxian covered his red face as he looked away.

Lan Wangi looked at the younger amused.

'I fully understand why you loved to rile me up but It's really amusing to see reactions you don't see everyday, but when you're the reason the person is reacting like that...the feeling is just too good to be true.' He smiled.

"Lan Zhan! Give a man some warning before you go ahead and smile like that! It's too deadly!"

Lan Wangji nodded "I apologize." he looked at the other "I promise not to warn you next time."

"Thank-Wait what!? LAN ZHAN YOU TEASE!"

2 weeks later Jiang Wanyin was all healed up and would be joining their classes.

All he remembered from his mother before she left was her saying "You better fix our image! You and that brat made us all lose face!"

He could feel the rage from his body as he tried to calm himself from the whispers he keeps hearing from everyone during breakfast and the stares he's getting.

He wants to find Wei Wuxian and punch him, but if he punches him then he'll be banished from Cloud Recesses and it will just ruin the Jiang Sect's and his own reputation.

It was already embarrassing enough that he has scars on his back from the discipline whip.

It was all that Jin Zixuan's fault! If the other did not provoke him! Then he wouldn't have punched his face!

He hated everyone, but who cares!? The Jiangs will rise to the top when he becomes Sect Leader and when he does, everyone especially that Wei Wuxian will regret their choice.

Jiang Wanyin was healed and now Wei Wuxian said he'll be going but he promises to visit every month or two at the very least.

Now he was at the gates with Lan Wangli, Nie Huaisang, Lan Xichen, and Jin Zixuan to greet him out.

Jin Zixuan and him got along fairly well after the incident.

"You'll be back right Wei-xiong?" Nie Huaisang asked as they reached the gate.

"Of course I would! You're not getting rid of me that easily!" Wei Wuxian scoffed before he turned.

"So goodbye? See you all next month?" He asked and they all nodded.

"Have a safe trip Wei-gongzi."

"Ah Zewu-Jun, call me Wuxian."

"Then Wuxian, Call me Xichen."

Wei Wuxian smiled.

"I'Il see you soon as well Zixuan." the other male nodded.

"Where's my good byeee????" Lan Wangji pouted.

"You? Ah." Wei Wuxian was awkwardly standing before we went close to Lan Wangji and kissed his right cheek.

"I'LL SEE YOU ALL NEXT TIME! BYE! Wei Wuxian ran away with a red face leaving behind multiple blinking faces.

Lan Xichen then turned to his brother "You finally got the cheek kiss you asked for." he smiled but Lan Wangji pouted.

"My lips would have been better but I'm never washing my face again!"

Nie Huaisang fanned himself 'Another painting!'

Jin Zixuan just didn't know how to react.
