'Your Xian-gege might not be mad but I am pissed!' Lan Wangji glared.

"Oh? Who is this scary gege?" The youngest asked and Wei Wuxian turned to Lan Wangji.

'Ah...Lan Zhan, I know they interrupted us but they're kids.' Wei Wuxian thought.

"Can Lan Zhan come?" He asked and Wen Qing rolled her eyes "Sure, sure, he can." she said before facing the kids "Go with Granny, Wei Wuxian will be busy."

The kids pouted but obeyed.

"It's getting better, by the end of this week all your scars will be completely gone." She announced and Lan Wangji was admiring the now almost clear back.

His ears turned red that he had to look away.

"Anyway, get yourself settled in your room, does Second Young Master Lan need a room?" Wen Qing asked.

"No need, I will share with Wei Ying."

Wen Qing nodded before she glanced to see if Wei Wuxian was listening.

She then turned to Lan Wangji and pointed three needles at him "Nothing naughty on my watch, break his heart and I break a your bones."

Lan Wangji gulped but nodded 'This woman is scary!'

"Qing Jie! I'll get Lan Zhan settled and show him around! Thanks for now!" Wei Wuxian zoomed out of the room, dragging Lan Wangji behind him.

"Here, this is where I'm staying whenever I visit." Wei Wuxian showed the place.

It was comfortable.

"It's nice." he complimented.

"Yeah, feels like home" Wei Wuxian smiled.

"Anyway, I want to show you something." Wei Wuxian took out a box and opened it.

Curious, Lan Wangji went and took a look.

There was a picture of two people with an infant.

"These are my parents." he said which made Lan Wangi's eves go wide.

"They...you look like your father but you have your mother's smile." he complimented as he sat beside the younger.

"That's what auntie told me, she remembered a couple who gave birth here in Dafan, apparently this place is my birth place." he explained "I'm one of them, which might be why this place feels so...homey?"

Lan Wangji looked at the photo.

'This might also be the reason why you felt the need to protect the Dafan Wens in the original timeline.' he thought before he wrapped an arm around Wei Wuxian's shoulder.

"Your parents would be proud of you." Wei Wuxian looked at him "You think so?" Lan Wangji huffed and kissed his cheek "I know so."

The two enjoyed their quiet moment for a while.

"Auntie." Wei Wuxian greeted a pregnant female who entered and helped her sit on the chair.

"Young Master Wei, I am still on my fifth month of pregnancy, I can sit and walk on my own." She said before turning her head towards Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangii bowed "Lan Zhan, courtesy Wangji." he introduced himself.

"Good things I hope..." Lan Wangji mumbled.

The Auntie laughed "Of course."

Wei Wuxian coughed "Anyway how are you feeling?" He asked.

"I'm still mourning, it's nice to be in your company, it's a shame my husband can't see our child." she rested her hand on her belly.

"I know Young Master Wei, I won't do anything that would harm my child." she assured the teen.

Wei Wuxian hesitantly nodded "Have you taken your medicine?"

"Ah, I did don't worry." she said.

"What is the name of your child if this one is allowed to ask?" Lan Wangji questioned.

The two then left.

Lan Wangji sighed, of course he should have known that Chifengzun is too into Justice.

He can't kill a teen no matter how much mass murder he did, and it will be a bigger problem if Xue Yang would become a resentful ghost.

The longer Xue Yang would stay alive, the longer the Jin Sect would claim him.

He remembers how the Jin Sect was trying to keep Xue Yang alive, but everything Lan Wangji would be in their presence, he would feel a bit of resentful energy within their distance.
