&&& Sprat&&&
He pulled me to him and I felt a weird feeling shoot up my spine. I wrapped my arms around his waist and held him close. I pulled away to look at him. A tear ran down his check. I turned my head slightly to the side. He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine (WHAT THE FUGE!!!!!!?!?!??!!??!?!?!?!?!!?!?) I shock rushed through my body. I didn’t know what to do. I stood there. My body turned to mush. My mind went blank. He backed up “Thanks, you’re a great person.” Alex said hugging me close. He released and went and sat on his bed. I stood staring at the ground. (He just kissed me what the heckkkkkkk)
“Sprat let’s go!” I heard my uncle say from down stairs (yes my sweet savior); “I gotta go.” I said quietly. “Let’s hang out again soon ok?” he said smiling. “Ok.” I said. Walking out his bedroom door and out to my uncle. He grabbed my hand as we walked out of the house. He walked really fast a crossed the street, dragging me behind him. Jake was already at the front door waiting for us. Uncle Henry opened the door and pushed me in. I was confused at his actions. He walked in, as I prepared for the worse. He slammed the door, and walked right passed me walking to the room he was going turn into an office and shut the door.
I turned to Jake who was bugged eye and mad looking. “What happened?” I looked at him with concern. “I don’t know.” He said with a bit of anger in his voice. He turned around and stormed off. “I love life!” I screamed in the house. I walked up the stairs to my room and looked around. The blue walls that I covered with posters of: Blood on the Dance Floor posters, and other bands like Falling in Reverse, and Black Veil Brides, and others. There were mostly pictures that I printed off the internet and drew myself. I sat on my mattress that was my bed and looked up at the celling.
“What the hell just happened?!?!” I said covering my face with my Hello Kitty pillow. I rolled over and went to sleep.
The next day I woke up to a knocking at my bed room door. I woke up and wrapped myself with my blanket. I walked over and opened the door. Uncle hennery stood there looking slightly cheery. “Good your up!” he said “get ready to go now.” He said walking off (ummmm excuse me???) I rolled my eyes and shut them. Jake walked in and I stared at him. He looked like he had been crying all night. “You ok?” I asked looking for cloths. He sat down on my “bed” and didn’t say anything. While I picked out a shirt he looked at me and got up and walked out of my room “Ummm ok then?” I showered quickly and scribbled some eyeliner on my eyes, and fixed my hair. I wore my purple and black skinny jeans and my plaid purple shirt (I really like the color purple)
I walked down stairs and looked over at my uncle who was standing with a smile on his face “Well don’t you look so nice today.” He said. “Where are we going?” I asked getting slightly mad. I don’t like mind tricks.

“We are going in enroll you into the local school.” He said looking over at Jake. I looked to Jake who was wearing a black hoodie and jeans (he likes wearing hoodies) he was giving him the “I hate you” look.
We all got in the 2002 kia spectra (me sitting in the front, Jake in the back)
We drove like 10 minutes (we got lost) to the large building 6 blocks over. The school. It looked scary and dark. I got out and looked over and Jake. “Grim-dale high.” Jake whispered. “Well come on lets go.” My uncle said walking to the large doors. Jake fallowed me as I walked behind him. There were kids everywhere I stayed close to my uncle (OHHH MYYY GAWD)
There where kids staring at me and Jake. They must think that we are too young to be in high school. We walked up to the front desk. The larger lady with short curly browns hair wearing a pink flowery shirt greeted us. “Hello my name is Betty-sue can I help you?” She had a slight Texas accent.
“Yes I need to enroll my nephews in school.” Henrey said to the lady. “Ok hold on while I find someone to help you tour the building. While you wait can I have you fill out some paper work?” She smiled at my uncle and winked at me and Jake. I chose to sit on the benches as she called some people.
My uncle filled out the paper work and the principle meets us at the front office. “Hi I’m principle Richard.” A tall man wearing a striped shirt said holding out his hand to my uncle.
“Hi I’m Henrey and these are my nephews Sprat and Jake.” He said shaking his hand “Hi boys I hope you like it here at Grim-Dale High.” He said smiling. “Please allow me to show you around.” He said leading us to a hallway that was empty. “Here at Grim-dale we look for the best in our students allowing them to take classes that interest them.” The man said he sounds like he’s given this speech a thousand times. We walked past a few class rooms that had kids studying, and writing, staring blank at the teachers boring them to death
“as you can see we try to focused on our kids’ education.” Opening a door to a class that had kids listening to the teacher go on about rocks and other such things. He opened the door so we could see. Some of the kids turned to me and Jake. The tall man ushered us to the back of the room. Some of the kids turned to look at us. I scanned the room a familiar face looked at me with a smile. Alex.
His eyes gave the look that said “I know you.” I stood there pretending I didn’t notice him. We walked out, and came back to the front of the school. “That’s all that I can show while schools going on.” He said turning to us. So shall we register for classes?” he said looking at me and Jake. I stood there the best “I don’t give fudge” look I could give (NO I DON’T WANT TO GO REGISTER FOR CLASSES!)
“Well come on, sorry their really shy.” My uncle spoke looking at us. “No problems new schools are always scary.” He said walking in to one of the many offices. Henrey pushed us to fallow. It took 20 minutes to get our classes picked out.

I took mostly art classes. Jake was still in 8th grade but since middle school the building attached to the high school he had to wait to take some of the classes I was allowed to take. I was taking art pottery, art, drawing, world geo, world lit, a P.E class, and science and then I had an off period
“Well I hope to see you tomorrow.” The tall man said us as we walked away. (No you won’t see me tomorrow!) We went home after we went to store for school supplies.
THE NEXT DAY
I rolled out of bed to my alarm at 4 in the morning (not that could sleep anyways) I showered, and picked out the cloths I choose to wear Black and white skinny jeans and black and red hoodie I straighten my already straight hair and put my eyeliner on dark. I shoved all of my school stuff in my pink and purple Hello Die Kitty backpack. And walked down stairs to find my uncle and Jake already up I looked at my phone. 5:45 am. “Well aren’t you and early riser today?” my uncle said looking at me with a cheery smile. Jake was in his unusual black jeans (not skinny) and blue shirt “What’s up With? you never wear cloths like this.” I looked him up and down.
“The middle school has a dress code.” My uncle said looking at Jake. “Oh how wonderful.” I said. I sat looking at the clock waiting for school which started at 7:45. When 7:20 rolled around I started to leave. Me and Jake started to walk out the front door when I heard a familiar voice call behind me (ohhhh how I wish was the wind) I froze. Alex was a few feet behind us. He walked faster to catch up. “Hey guys!” he said smiling at me and Jake. Jake was looking at the ground.
“So what are your classes Sprat?” he said as we crossed the street to the school. “Um classes.” I said not thinking about it. “Well aren’t we happy today.” Alex said looking over at me. I didn’t say anything. We got to the front of the school and Alex opened the door for us Jake waved goodbye as he walked to the other side. “Have a good day Jake!” Alex said to him. Jake didn’t even look back. “Wow he’s antisocial.” Alex said.
“No he just doesn’t like the attention he hasn’t been himself for the last couple of years…” I said not thinking of what I was saying. “What do you mean?” Alex said looking puzzled
“Nothing.” I said (AHHHHH he kinda cute). The bell rang and it was time to go to class. I walked to my first period class. Pottery. I walked in, and the teacher immediately stopped me. “Hello you must be a new student, I’m Mr. Kloody.” He held out his hand. He was short. He had a scraggly beard and a long face and curly brown hair. He looks like an artist in his little pottery apron. (How wierd) I shook his hand and he handed me an a dirt apron (cause it was covered in dirt) and I put it on (by the way I looked HAWT in it) I put it on and took a seat in the back. The last bell rang and kids filled the classroom. (OMG I hope none of them notice me!!)
They all went quiet as they entered. A tall kid took a seat next to me. I froze. What’s with all these kids??? “Hey I’m Isaac but you can call me Issa.” The kid said. He had light blonde hair hiding hazel eyes. He was wearing a white button up with black sleeveless over shirt; his black pants and blue convers . (Awwwww what a cutie)
I stayed silent. “What’s wrong? Don’t know how to talk?” he smiled showing his yellow but still very white teeth.
“Uhh no I... I’m Sprat…” I said looking down at my shoes. His eyes fallowed mine “hey your shoes are so cool.” He said pointing at them
“Uh thanks.” I said quietly (why is he talking to me?!?!?)
“Ok class let’s get to work!” The teacher said letting the kids go.
“So Sprat let me show you what we’re doing.” Issa said. “Ok.” I said. He showed me where we get the clay from and how to get all of the air bubbles out of it. “So that basically it.” Issa said looking over his shoulder.
I grabbed a bunch of clay and kneaded it. I took it back to my desk, and started working. “Um what are we supposed to be making?” I asked quietly “Anything you want, I’m making bowl.” He said walking away.
I thought for a minute on what to make. Then it came to me. I started cutting and molding the clay into shapes and sticking them together. When I was done I stopped to look at it. I made a Pikachu.
Issa came back to looked at the thing I made. “Awwwww it’s so cute!” Issa said. I finished the markings and put it in the dry box.
“Ok class time to clean up!” the teacher said. I put the little apron away, and cleaned the table. The bell rang, and everyone filed out.
The rest of my classes were boring. I had to stand and give the same speech in almost every one of them. But when 7th, which was English, I had to stand in the front and tell everyone who I was! (SO NOT COOL)
“Ummm … I'm Sprat…”I began “Hi Sprat.” The whole class said in sync. (Like one of those AA meetings)
“Now tell us what we don’t know about you.” The overly enthusiastic teacher said. “Um I moved here from Seattle?’ I said looking down at my feet, which I wanted to use to run out of here. Again.
“Ohhh that’s cool does it rain there a lot?” he asked (-.-#) “Yea.” I said.
“Well that’s interesting. Now please take a seat behind Alexander.” He said pointing to an empty seat.
That name... I remember that name…. I saw his face… my neighbor (what luck another class with him that makes at least 3)
“Hey there sexy beast." He said to me as I sat down. I rolled my eyes. “What no love for me?” He said with puppy eyes, which were super adorable.

What will an average programmer student do when he finds out that he can code the dungeon? And… conquer the world, perhaps? The hard reboot of “The Programmer’s Dungeon.” It has an almost completely different plot, cast, and storyline, so expect tons of improvement from the old one. Disclaimer: This is a softcore LitRPG story; there are stats but no levels. Also, the LitRPG element isn’t the main focus of the story itself and is more of a support. I have enabled the reader’s suggestion, and therefore, you can correct any grammar mistakes and typos you find in the story. There will definitely be some that I miss. Cheers! The cover was made by Jack0fheart, so a shout-out for him. Releasing 3 chapters per week at 12.00 GMT on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday with at least 2000+ words.
