《My Immortals(A One Direction Fanfiction) COMPLETED》Chapter 27

Logan held me to his chest as he ran through the night. I cried into his chest as he carried me. Several streets down, he stopped and climbed into a black car with me. He held me on his lap as doors closed and people got in the car. The car was humming under me, ready to take off. The last door clicked shut and the car took off. I continued to sob as he gently stroked my hair.
"Gwenny? It's okay, you're safe with us."
I didn't say anything, I just cried into his shirt and wondered if they would let me see my mum.
"Gwen, we don't have your mum." Kendal whispered.
"You were lurking in my mind?!" I shrieked. Logan winced but went back to stroking my hair.
"It's my power, I'm sorry. But we don't have your mum."
"But the girl...?"
"Carlos?" I felt a hand on my ankle and I looked up to see Carlos smiling at me.
"What happened with the girl?"
I thought back to what she said and sobbed at the memory. Carlos winced and slowly withdrew his hand.
"Gwen, she's not with us."
"Who's she with, then?" I whispered. All the sudden, the breaks squealed and the car fishtailed as something solid hit the roof. Logan quickly drew me closer to his chest and his skin began to burn a little. Doors opened and I heard BTR getting out. Logan put me in Kendal's empty spot.
"Gwenny, stay in here until we get back. And whatever you do, don't get out of this car."
"Who's out there."
"The ones who killed your friends, who slaughtered your family. They're The Wanted."
And with that, he shut the door and ran off where eight people were standing. They surrounded the car, spread out several feet away. I cracked my window so I could hear what they were saying.

"You have our girl!" Someone snarled and pointed at another figure's chest.
The figure put his hands up,"She's not anyone's girl."
"You're right. She's just the Blood Rose and we want her!" Another figure shouted.
"What? So you can drain her?" I recognized Logan's voice.
"As if you're gonna do something different! She is the Blood Rose. She's here for blood, nothing more!" Let's call him main hater #1, or MH1. You could tell they run the business since they looked so trendy and their voices rang with authority.
I was beginning to freak out. I could see the car across the street and I saw a figure looming in its shadows. I scooted away as I heard the boys shouting at each other and accusing the others of things. The figure was unnoticeable to the boys as it creeped closer. Crap. How do I lock these doors?
Crap, crap, crap... Oh my gosh! It's like five feet away from the car. Crap. I was pressed up against the other side of the car as my blood rushed in my ears. I could hear each thump of my heart, each tiny throb of purple. The figure, who turned out to be a girl, grabbed the door handle and quickly pulled the door open. I filled my lungs with air to scream, but she covered my mouth with inhuman speed and shut the door.
"I'm here to help you! I saw you at the supermarket when my masters were there and I know... I just know when I looked at you and Harry, I just knew how much you love him. And you just fighting with Harry.... I'm sorry, it doesn't make sense... I could see the connection between you and Harry... I'm here to take you back."
"You what?"
"Don't worry, Gwen. I won't hurt you. I'm Mitchie(@chimmiedalagan!!!)."
I didn't say anything. I was in too much shock. She gently picked me up and slid out into the night. I watched as we carefully sneaked by the boys, who were still shouting and scuffling. Once we made it past them, she took off in vampire speed, still carrying me. She ran me all the way back to the house while I sat there, dazed. She then knocked on the door and it opened.

I saw Harry and immediately jumped out of Mitchie's arms and into Harry's. he hugged me tight before he pulled away and ushered us inside. We sat in the commons room as everyone gathered around us.
"So, BTR doesn't have my mum, and they aren't the threat." I announced as Harry hugged me close to him. Mitchie looked confused.
"The ploy was believed, but now we know the real culprit. The Wanted."
"Eww, I don't like them." Louis said suddenly, and we all laughed.
"So who's your friend?" Liam asked.
"This is Mitchie, she brought me back here."
Mitchie stepped forward,"I'm Mitchie and The Wanted we're my masters. They turned me and force me to work for them. They want Gwen for her blood. But they also want her so they can use her to destroy you guys."
Everyone looked around at each other while I watched Mitchie.
"And my mum?" I had to know.
"It was a ploy. They never had her." Mitchie replied in a quiet sad voice. Harry hugged me and I pressed back against him.
"Thanks, Mitchie." I whispered.
"You can stay here if you want. I know that Tom and his gang won't be happy about you betraying them."
"They aren't my masters anymore." She decided.
Niall nodded,"Then you can hang out here if you want."
"Thanks." Mitchie said with a smile as Niall kindly showed her to her room.
"You guys, I think we should relocate." Harry suggested.
Zayn nodded,"They already know this place, we need to move, it'd be safer for all of us."
"I know a small deserted town nobody knows about. Okay, it's not deserted, it's just really tiny." Louis suggested.
"What town?" Liam looked over at him.
"It's in Missouri. How about Osceola?"
"That doesn't even exist!"
"Yes, it does! It's tiny, they'll never find us there!"
"Alright. Let's get packing. And Gwen, you need to eat and then go to bed." Liam told me.
"I'll take care of her." Harry murmured with a smile before he dragged me into the kitchen. He microwaved the left over lasagna and poured me a glass of milk. He sat me a bowl of salad on the table before he sat down with some dinner beside me.
"Are you okay?" He asked me as we ate. I nodded my response.
"Gwen, if I were to lose you.... If I were to lose you, I just... I dunno what I'd do." I looked up into his eyes and saw the pain in them.
"I know Harry." I leaned forward and kissed his cheek, only to feel the purple spreading again.
"We'll figure out what's going on, I promise." Harry murmured before we took care of our dishes. He walked me upstairs and waited in my room while I got dressed.
Once I was finally ready for bed, he tucked me in and turned out the lights.
"Hey girl I'm waiting on ya, I'm waiting on ya, come on let me sneak you out, and have a celebration, a celebration, the music up and windows down." He sang to me as he lay beside me. The purple was throbbing and slowly spreading with each word Harry sang. But I didn't want him to stop, and he didn't, not until I had drifted away into dreamland.

Isekai'd slave
Edward, a regular guy, is transported to another world at the wrong time and place. Slowly, he adapts, paves his way, and faces whatever misfortune awaits. This is my first work. I'm mostly messing around with different themes/characters. The first few chapters are pretty inconsistent, containing most of the rough experimentation, but if you can get past them - I'm sure you'll have a much nicer time. Do not expect anything of notable quality; however, any advice/criticism/suggestions are greatly appreciated. The story won't involve any dark themes, so no excessive violence, rape, etc. Discord

Epoch: An NPC's Tale
Epoch is a slow-burn LitRPG/Gamelit novel that tells the story of Luke, later named Lucius—a natural inhabitant of the game-like realm of Elyssia where thousands upon thousands of detached, virtually unkillable entities known as the Players were suddenly introduced right after the dusk of the magnificent Age of Heroes. Shortly after the Players arrived, the balance of power in Elyssia instantly shifted. Kingdoms fell, wars were waged, alliances between races were made, and Lucius, after ten years of training in captivity, found himself being used as a pawn in a prophecy that he had no intention to fulfill. With aspirations and desires of his own, Lucius must find a way to cautiously adapt to the drastic changes in the very foundations of the realm after being sent 300 years into a future that was forever altered by the outcome of the war that his captors had lost and the Players won in a victory that resounded throughout the ages, all for a terrible price. Author's Note As an avid fan of the LitRPG genre myself, I wrote this novel with character progression, heavy Gamelit elements, and some degree of world-building in mind. If you like these, please feel free to give this novel a try. Oh, and the MC is also an NPC, in a sense. And wait, isn't this also an isekai story? Well, it's all a bit complicated to explain here. Maybe you should start reading now?

Is Lucas Destined to Die in the New World?
Lucas imagined himself doing grander things in life; after all, he put in his own blood, sweat, and tears, and got himself a master's degree in English. Maybe he'd be the next best-selling author, or maybe the most popular late night TV show host. However, life didn't give him anything more than a management position at the local burger joint. Day in and day out, he flipped burgers, swept floors, and made weekly schedules that his employees ignored. All he had known for the past five years of his life was pure misery. Then after one night of drunken revelry, he found himself in an unfamiliar world, but he knew all the gimmicks. He knew these stories had quirks he could manipulate- he could put all his stats into magic and become the best wizard in the world, or he could dump all his stats into strength and become a veritable warrior. But once again, just like Earth, this new world seemed to have different plans for him. Instead, he was given a luck stat of 0 and a skill that forced him into danger where there should have been none. Why is this nerdy, magical paradise trying to kill him? Content warnings are there to give me some creative legroom later. There's not an excess of any gruesome content in the story, and what is there is tastefully sprinkled in. This is a LitRPG. Updates are twice a week on Mon/Fri plus some extras here and there.
