《My Immortals(A One Direction Fanfiction) COMPLETED》Chapter 35

"Gwenny?" A voice called up ahead somewhere.
I shuffled forward, my bare feet catching and scraping on the rough cobblestone path beneath me. I struggled to see my way through the dark woods, only isolated lanterns lit the path I walked on.
"Gwendy?" Another voice screamed into the night. I knew that voice. I couldn't recall the owner, but every fiber of my being screamed for me to get to their side as soon as possible.
"Lenny!" The two voices pierced the darkness in unison as I stumbled on the crumbling cobblestone whilst I sprinted into the unknown.
"Gwenny!"
I kept running, my bare feet screaming for me to stop, but I couldn't. I had to get to those voices as soon as possible.
"Gwen!" Another voice called from above me. That was weird, it was deeper than the other two. I ignored it and kept trying to find the other two.
"Gwen?" The same deep voice called.
I had to reach those voices. Those small voices. The voices that beloned to the innocent...
"Gwen?" I opened my eyes to Harry's face hovering above mine as he gently shook my shoulder.
"Oh, okay... You were having a nightmare. How are you feeling?"
I groaned, remembering the nightmare, then remembering the owners of those two voices. Hunter and Dylan... I wonder if they're okay? Or did they have something important to tell me?
I sat up, but only ended up collapsing onto the bed with a whimper.
"You haven't been out for very long... The venom is still working to repair every fiber." I groaned, feeling the faint burning in my side.
"It hurts!" I complained as I wrapped my arms around my ribs.
Harry looked really upset,"I'm sorry, Gwen, I'm really sorry."
"It's not your fault. I should've been more careful..."
"Nonsense. Do you need anything? Anything at all?"
I thought about it..."Some tea would be nice..."
Harry smiled at me and ran his hand through my hair before he stood up,"You got it." With that, he left the room. I smiled as I laid back on the bed. I was laying there, enjoying the fluffiness, before I felt a tugging in my mind. Before I knew it, I was out like a light.
"Gwenny!" A voice called as two figures ran up to me.
"Lenny! We have news!" Hunter exclaimed as he looked up at me, his blue eyes shining. They both hugged my legs and I ruffled their hair affectionately.

"Gwenny, we were spying on the archangels, and they were watching the future in the water. We saw the fight, and we saw... We saw..." Dylan trailed off.
"Gwenny, you were hurt badly. You were laying on the ground and there was blood... And oh Gwenny!" Hunter began to cry as he hugged my legs.
I stood there, unmoving, frozen in shock. The archangels words echoed through my mind as I stared into the boys' frightened eyes.
"No." I whispered. This wasn't happening. This couldn't be happening...
"Boys, where have you... Oh." I heard a voice say, zapping me out of my trance.
I looked up and saw a black haired boy who looked to be seventeen.
"You must be Gwendoyln." He said with a kind smile, his dark eyes shining as he held out his hand."I'm Reth."
I hesitantly shook his hand. He then reached over and grabbed each of the boys' hands.
"Be safe, Lenny!" They both called before Reth gently urged them into a flash of light. I expected him to leave with them, but instead, he advanced towards me.
"Gwen, you have to be very careful." He whispered.
I stared into his dark eyes, which looked serious and much wiser than an average teen's. I nodded.
"I can't tell you much, but I can tell you a bit. Love is what makes us living, but it's also our end. Remember that. That's all I can tell you. I better go. Be careful, danger is on the horizon." And with that, he disappeared in a flash of light.
I woke up and Harry still hadn't come back. "Love is what makes us liking, but it's also our end." What's that supposed to mean. Love... Harry. Harry is what gives me a purpose to fighting this Blood Rose thing. Love is what ended Chris and Harry. Harry gave up living as a human out of love for Chris. Chris died loving Harry. With her last breath, she told him she loved him. Did Reth mean that my fate is the same as Chris's? Am I going to die loving Harry? Am I going to die defending someone I love? Will love be the death of me?
I can't risk Harry, I love him too much, and you know what they say, if you love something, you must set it free.
"Here's your tea, Gwen." Harry handed me my cup and I took a sip, wincing as it burnt my sore throat and my insides.

"I'm sorry!" Harry exclaimed as I winced. Let it go... Let it go, let it go, let it go.
"Well, it is your fault." I said with the best cold voice I could manage. If you love something, you must set it free. Don't be selfish, set Harry free, save him.
Harry's face twitched as his eyes shined with pain."You're right, I'm sorry."
"You should be. You have no idea how much this hurts!"
"I know, and I'm sorry."
I huffed, my heart breaking with each harsh comment I made to Harry. I must be strong, I have to save Harry.
"Right, I'm going to go downstairs."
"Gwen, you should rest... I don't want you to over exert yourself-"
"Fine, whatever! You aren't my mum, you can't tell me what to do!"
"Gwen, your mum went crazy and tried to kill you-"
"And you killed her! You killed my mum!" I shrieked.
"Gwen, she tried to kill you!"
"Because of you!"
"How was that my fault?"
"If it weren't for you, nobody would've realized I'm the Blood Rose! But no!!! You just had to go all creeper on me! You just had to make a big deal about it!"
"Because I didn't want you to get hurt! I had to keep you safe!"
"From what? Nobody knew!"
Harry looked really upset. I could feel my shattered heart inside my chest. I could feel the purple throbbing, protesting against this fight with Harry.
"What's really wrong, Gwen?" Harry whispered.
"You. My life's screwed up because of you." I said bitterly, but you could hear the resistance in my voice. Every fiber in my being was fighting against this. The purple was frying my insides.
"Gwen. Look at me." He gently grabbed my chin and made me look at him. I felt tears filling my eyes as I saw the pain in his eyes."You can tell me."
Did I want to tell Harry? No. He can't do anything to stop this. He can't do anything to stop me from dying. If I told him, he'd die trying to stop the inevitable, then blame it upon himself.
There was a knock on the door, but neither of us acknowledged it.
"Gwen...?" He needed an answer. I replaying Reth's voice in my mind, I replayed the twins', I replayed all the snippets of information, trying to decide whether to tell Harry or not.
I was about to start to try to find something to fuel the fire of the fight with, so I could set him free, when the door burst open and Zayn rushed in.
"Gwen, why didn't you tell us?"
"Um... What?"
Zayn facepalmed before he pointed to his head,"Mind reader."
Shoot nuggets. Zayn knows.
"What do you mean?" Harry asked, glancing between Zayn and me.
Zayn began to fill Harry in on all my thoughts while I stared down at the ground. They were just going to get themselves hurt. If the archangels saw it, then it's going to happen, and there's no stopping it.
When Zayn finished, Harry looked at me,"Gwen, why didn't you tell me?"
I began to cry and Harry pulled me into his arms as the purple throbbed continuously.
"Gwen, I love you, and I'll do whatever it takes to keep you in my arms." With his words, the throbbing stopped.
Love is what makes us living, but it's also our end. Our. Our is in that phrase. Reth didn't mean that Harry and I would both die, did he?
A/N So a lot happened in this chapter, and the last shabang is about to come. We need legit party poppers!
So I used foreshadowing in this chapter, aand I'm sure you'll end up gathering your torches and pitch forks in the next few chapters. Haha, come and get me, guys! Just kidding! But seriously.
Okay, half of our reader's population fell off the earth, so we need to get with the program and cram this story down people's throats! We are going to use our duct tape to kidnap them and force them to read this! Just kidding, but seriously... Let's get our reads back up!
I finished writing Because of You and it's pretty short. Just please, do me a favour and just check it out. It would mean a lot to me, and no matter how depressing it gets, remember, there's a rainbow after a hurricane!
Don't forget to comment guys! And light up the voters score board! Also, refresh this page like twenty zillion times, so then I'll feel better about myself. Anyways, let me know what you think and I'll see you next time! Bye guys!

Magriculture (Rewrite)
When Aurum Industries announced the first Full Immersion Virtual Reality Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (FIVRMMORPG if you're hip) Limitless Online, most people saw it as an opportunity to live out their sword and sorcery fantasies. John, however, saw it as the opening of a new and as of yet uncrowded job market. One he was willing, and eager, to exploit. Determined to make money through virtual hard work and effort, John sets his sights not on the heights of magic or the perfection of the sword, but instead upon the tilling of the soil and the sowing of seeds as he explores the wide and wonderful world of magical agriculture all from the comfort of his own bed. Disclaimer: This is a rewrite of the original "Magriculture", which some of you may have read. (To those who did, you have my deepest gratitude, it is absolutely because of your patronage and comments that this rewrite happened, and I feel the story is better for it.) That said, this story is not a complete and polished work, there will be mistakes and errors, an occasionally these errors may mean I need to rewrite portions of the story (as of this posting the story has gone through two major rewrites already, and I'm seriously hoping there won't be need of a third.) Because of this, there may at times be changes. Such changes may be as small as editing a few numbers (such as going back and changing how much mana an object holds) or it may force me to re-write entire chapters (this has happened once already, and I'm really hoping it doesn't happen again, but... life). Minor re-writes will probably never be posted here. Major rewrites probably will. Anyway, what this boils down to is: If you're looking for a fully cohesive story with few to no errors and publisher level editing, this is not the story for you. If you're looking for a cohesive plot that's more than "Man farms, man farms, man farms well, man maybe makes money" you're probably also in the wrong place, but I will attempt to entertain you anyway.
