《Moments | Spideychelle Oneshots Collection》Mr. Parker Will See You Now (pt. 1)

**Don't worry y'all. This doesn't have mature content yet. Part 2 definitely does.**
It's been 6 years since Tony Stark had passed away in their final battle with Thanos. And during all these years, Peter Parker had been the one to take over Stark Industries.
Michelle Jones on the other hand is now working with the local news channel. She interviews popular and influential people and the writers later put the info she gained in their broadcasts and whatnot.
She walked into the Avengers building, where the new generation of the team were currently living in. She approached the girl in the desk near the entrance.
"Umm, excuse me?" She said, gaining the girl's attention.
"Yes, how may I help you?"
"Yeah, hi. Umm, I'm here to interview Mr. Parker."
"Alright, let me ring you in." The girl turned towards the phone. "Sir, your 10 o'clock is here." Michelle waited for a bit then the girl hung up. "Mr. Parker will see you now."
MJ entered the elevator. Right outside Peter's office, she took a deep breath. They were close once upon a time, which felt so long ago. But they soon fell apart. She always regretted not telling him she liked him. She's moved on since then though, but there was a little part of her that didn't, which was what made her nervous to come here in the first place.
She finally pushed the glass doors open then regretted it right away. Wanting to turn back, she tripped in the doorway, catching the attention of the new and improved Peter Parker.
"Are you okay?" He went over to her, helping her up. She kept her head down low, avoiding his gaze.
"Yeah, yeah I'm alright." Accidentally, she met eyes with him. She couldn't pull away. And neither could he. A few moments later, they found that they were staring at each other. Peter broke the silence with an *ahem*.
"So," He started, pulling away from her. "Have a seat, please."
Michelle fumbled with her things as she sat down the chair. She realized she hadn't brought a pencil.
"Ahh," She said, pointing at the pencils on Peter's desk.
"Oh." He gave her one as he sat down on the wooden coffee table in front of her. She skimmed through the questions on the sheet of paper she had. Their interview was going well so far. Until one question came up.

"Are you gay?" She asked, now only realizing what she had said. He chuckled.
"Excuse me?"
"I.. uhh.." She looked down on her cheat sheet and cursed to herself under her breath.
"Listen," He leaned closer to her face, which startled her. "Just ask me anything you want. Don't look at the questions. Ask me what you want to know." His voice turned her on. It was cooler and more suave than the last time Michelle heard him. She gulped.
"Umm," She inhaled through her nose then exhaled through her mouth. Then when she was ready, she looked up at him. Their faces were mere inches away from the other. She felt herself shake a bit. "What have you been doing all this time? The time you were gone? The times you skipped school? You never once told anybody the truth, except Ned of course."
"The Stark Internship."
"No," Her expression turned serious. "You told me to ask you my questions, now I'm telling you to answer them honestly. Please?" Peter sighed.
"Okay, fine. But don't put this on your story or headline it or whatever."
"Promise."
"Okay," He leaned closer to her ear and it sent chills up her spine. "I am Spiderman." He said, which left her jaw-dropped.
"So, that explains.. everything, basically? All the tardys, all the skipping, all of it?"
"Yeah. Pretty much."
"But how come you've never told anybody that? Especially since you took over Stark Industries?"
"I just don't want to tell the public yet. Not everyone thinks that Spiderman is a full-on good guy. Some still think he's a menace, that I'm a menace." He waited for her to respond but she didn't. "Please don't put that anywhere. I trust you, Michelle. I always have, and I always will."
"You do?"
"Yeah. Of course. You were one of the best friends I had in high school. And I adored you so much." It made her blush and she grinned to the ground. A few seconds later, she looked up at him again. "Listen, I'm so sorry that I sorta.. fell out from you. I intended to rekindle with you but.. I just didn't know how." He held her hand. "Michelle, I-" The door burst open. He let go of her hand immediately and stood up from the table, fixing his suit and tie. "Yes, Alexa?"

"Sir, someone wants to see you right away. They said it's an emergency."
"Alright." He turned back to MJ as his assistant walked away. "If you have any more questions," He handed her a business card that had both his number and email on it. "Ask away." Peter winked. Then he escorted her out. She walked back home with a huge grin on her face, hiding it by biting her lip.
When she went home, she opened her laptop and thought about what she'll send to Peter. She wanted to ask him so many questions, none of which were related to the things she needed for the news. But she didn't care. He said he wanted to rekindle, this was his way of doing it.
Hey Peter,
I just wanted to ask you, how were you able to keep being Spiderman a secret? Like, that should've been so obvious! Anyways, I hope you get this. I really want to hang out with you again sometime soon and catch up on things.
Love, (She deleted that.)
Yours truly, (She deleted that as well.)
Looking forward to speaking with you soon,
Michelle
A few minutes later, a reply came up.
Hi MJ, (I hope that's still your nickname. Have I ever told you that it's really pretty?)
I honestly don't know. I really did doubt myself that I wouldn't be able to keep it all hidden. But somehow I did. Believing in yourself really does work, no matter how cliche it may sound.
Hope this made sense,
Peter
More and more emails later, they then decided to just talk over text. They talked about everything they've both been doing after all these years, catching up on their lives after college. They planned on meeting up for coffee as well the day after, and Michelle looked forward to see him. When she arrived, she waited for at least an hour until she finally accepted the fact that she got stood up, by the only guy she ever liked, Peter Parker. Of course, she was devastated, and she just wanted to lock herself in her room and eat ice cream all day. Later that same night, her roommate in her apartment forced her to go celebrate her promotion with her.
"But I don't wanna go!" She whined.
"Oh come on, MJ. We're gonna go out drinking! It's gonna be fun, I promise!" Anastasia said, pulling her up.
"No! I wanna stay here."
"Come on, a few drinks won't hurt ya. Plus, it might even make you forgot about that Peter guy." Michelle thought about it then eventually agreed.
Once they got there, they were greeted by their other friends and their guy friend Nathan that secretly had a crush on Michelle. After a few drinks, MJ got hammered. She went to the restroom only to find a long line. Suddenly, her phone rang.
"Michelle?" said Peter's voice.
"Yeah?"
"It's Peter. I'm so sorry about earlier. I had to arrange some... paperwork. I promise I'll make it up to you though."
"Huh?" asked Michelle, shouting in her phone over the loud music.
"Where are you right now?" asked Peter, suddenly tense.
"Just out with my friends celebrating." She drunkily said.
"Are you drunk?"
"Pffft what?? No!"
"You're drunk. Stay there, I'm coming to get you."
"Wait, what?" and then Peter hung up, leaving Michelle drunk and confused.
After she used the restroom, she went back to her friends. Shortly after that, she went outside to get some air. Nathan followed suit.
"Pretty chilly out here, isn't it?" He said.
"Yeah." He removed his jacket and put it over her. "Oh no no, it's okay. I'm fine."
"No, I insist."
"No no, I swear, it's fine." Unexpectedly, Peter showed up behind them.
"She said she doesn't want it, punk." He pushed him way harder than he intended to.
"Peter." She sobered up a little and gave him a look. He took a step back. "What is wrong with you?! And what are you even doing here??!"
"You're not supposed to be drinking." He told her.
"You can't tell me what to do."
"She's right. You're not the boss of her." Nathan chimed in. Peter ignored him and carried MJ back to his car.
"I'm taking you home." He said as Michelle told him repeatedly to let go of her.

Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
