You get pushed from the hole and landed on a grassfield.
Ouch...
You slowly rub your butt to numb the pain away, as you try to reflect what just happened.
Then, sounds of a muffled voice can be heard.... It hears like a gentle, but a melancholic lullaby.
"...Where is that humming coming from...?" You whisper. You would try and follow the lullaby you're hearing nearby. But the only energy you got wants you to cry from what you just witnessed few minutes ago...
Another friend fell...
Alban fell... Yugo fell...
You shrink yourself into a ball, crystal-like tears finally falling into cascades as you nuzzle your face into your knees.
"Hey... Are you okay..?" Says a voice gently, you can hear the grass getting shifted as a shadow looms over you. You slowly peek out from hiding your face to see the same purple haired boy.
"H-Hi." You stutter with a tiny smile that is on a verge to fall, dusting your pants a bit before getting out of your shrinking position slightly. He merely looks at you blankly, probably wondering why you're here.
You were about to rubs your eyes gently to wipe your tears, until a hand that is slightly larger than yours starts wiping them for you with his long sleeve. You can only glance at the ground in slight shock as he keeps wiping your face without hurting you, feeling your cheeks slightly getting warmed by the closeness from the stranger. As he wipes the tears away, he also starts to hum the same serene lullabies he sang before to soothe you a little bit more.
Once you stop yourself from crying, you turn to look at him in the face, now upclose. That's when you notice that the boy's nose is bleeding a lot.
"A-AH--- are you alright....?" You whisper with panic as you cover your mouth with both of your hands in a surprised manner. The boy backs away in response, not expecting you to react so quickly.
Without wasting a second, you quickly take out a spare handkerchief fabric from your pocket and start wiping the boy's nose. He flinches yet he doesn't made a single sign of trying to pull away or stopping you as his droopy eyes are glancing at you silently.
As you finish cleaning, you then smile softly to him.
"What's your name...?"
The boy stays quiet for awhile until he finally responds in a low, silky voice.
"...Uki."
"My name is Y/N." You gently say with a now calm smile, feeling warmth from his lullabies. You have a beautiful voice, Uki."
"Oh... Really.." Uki's voice trails off as he looks away.

"Yes... Definitely."
Becoming aware that Uki won't say more. You understand the message by coming back into your own business as you stand up to walk around, trying to look for other signs of help or at least a figure of Ike who must be still checking on spawn points at the moment..
"It seems I got lost..." You quietly mumbled, but your troubling thoughts start to evaporate slowly as you look up the sky. To see a beautiful pool of colors and stars...
It leaves you speechless in such beautiful way.
Little did you know, Uki was turning back to face you just to watch you focusing on your surroundings. He's unconsciously admiring you facial features lightened up by the nightlights as you gaze at the stars.
"Are you a fallen star...?" Uki whispers wondering to himself. You didn't quite catch his saying, since you're pretty distracted at the moment.
"Hey... you love stargazing...? This is a perfect place to do that." You commented, still looking at the mesmerizing night sky.
"Yes... It helps me relax.... And think." Uki responds, now looking up at the sky as well while he slowly sits on the grassy hill.
After a few minutes, a thought crosses your mind before you take out the phone Ike gave you before he left. You then turn it on through fingerprint.
You are about to dial his contact until the red screen turn red, displaying the familiar, intimidating android logo.
Loud distorted noises are heard from the other side of the phone, making Uki get alerted before approaching you with a concerned look. He follows your gaze into the phone.
"Did you just get hacked...?" Uki quietly mumbles, studying the phone's screen. He looks very bewildered and skeptical by the phone's condition.
"I don't know...? The phone is brand new and this is the first time I touched it-"
*BING!*
You both lightly jumped by the phone noise, until you realize it was an alarm that someone is now on the other side of the phone line-
It's not a call, it's someone hearing you talk right now.
After few minutes of staying silent while looking at the phone. You were noticing that they're about to hang very soon-
But then, something is not right.
Something feels not right-
.
.
.
.
.
You feel a ticklish sensation in your nose...-
.
.
.
.
You sneeze.
"...."
"...."
The muttering from the other side of the line got quiet.
Uki looks at you with wide eyes. His mouth a little open with a tiny "o".
You can only do nothing but hold your hand over your mouth out of embarrassment, flustered as you feel ashamed.
You just freaking sneezed like a kitten...
You violently sweatdrops, wondering what the androids will do... Location exposure? Phone about to self-explode??? Verbal threats before tracking you down???

All you can hear is silence once again, until a deep, raspy voice quickly broke it-
"This one is cleared. Keep moving."
After the logo disappears, you and Uki sigh in relief, despite confused of what just happened.
Then, another black hole appears right next to you. But it seems it is now aware that you can enter it on your own as long as you're aware of it.
"Huh....? Oh.... It seems I have to go ...." You say to your newly met partner as you glance at the hole with slight-insecurity.... I wonder how the landing will go well-
"That fast...?" Uki whispers but nonetheless waves goodbye at you lightly. "Stay safe, don't get hacked next time..-"
"Hehe-"
"Oh... And also... Don't cry."
Uki reminds you, he may not be smiling but he sounded sincere and caring when he said it. So you smile warmly in return before hugging him. He stops for a moment before embracing you in return- patting your hair lightly.
He surprisingly smells like the coral sea for some reason....
"Thank you, Uki... I hope we can cross paths again." You hopefully wish, as you hold his hands in yours with a lovely, gentle squeeze.
You weakly chuckle before pulling away from the hug, and you slowly disappear from the portal.
Uki can only keep looking at the spot you were once there, blinking slowly, before sighing as he now feels empty once again for some reason. Now the grass field is much darker than it seems.
As a way to forget about the feeling, he continues to stargaze the lovely stars that seem to now be the symbol of you to him. Until he notices the stars suddenly falling from afar...- One by one.
Uki's now witnessing a shower of stars. He merely have to wink once and one of the falling stars is already landing in front of his face.
The star just landed on his right eye.
"......
.
.
.
That f*cking hurts."

A knock was gently heard from the door. Once being permitted to enter, a familiar red soldier enters the room as he approaches a light-haired man wearing glasses and possessing a red, lightning symbol who is on the bookshelves. The man who was focusing on the shelf was picking a book and reading it carefully before looking back at the android soldier.
"Legatus, what are your updates so far?" He commands with a serious look.
"She's still alive." A robotic voice is heard from the red soldier, who then took out his metallic helmet.
Revealing a replica of the other figure's face.
"Good." The light-haired man who is holding the book approves as he puts his book away. Stopping from reading so he can focus on the figure that looks the same as him, but is holding a red helmet in his metallic arm.
"Good news... And what about that DJ...?"
The android stay silent, making the other take it as bad news. The other sighs in defeat.
"Alright.... You may be dismissed." The light-haired man pulls his glasses away before making a hand motion, causing the figure of the android with the helmet disappear like an hologram.
A spy clone.
Then, the man takes out a phone, dialing a number before pulling it into his functioning ear.
"Ike-San, Lady Y/N has escaped alive through a portal..."
"Good, you did a good job watching over her... and Yugo...?" A familiar soft voice, Ike, is heard from the other side.
The other sighs, finding words to answer while trying not to sound harsh. He then looks around towards some wall with an unsatisfied look of a glare.
"...He couldn't make it." He mutters, but still makes sure to say it clearly.
A pause was then done through the phone, implying that Ike was thinking for a moment.
"... What a great loss..." Ike says, now with a lower tone. He seems to be on the verge to about to mourn for his apprentice's death quietly.
"You're going to worry about that later- I can't risk letting Yin get hurt for unknown reasons, Fulgur-" Ike warns the man as he, who seems to be known as Fulgur, is on the phone with him.
"Roger." Fulgur obliges the request as the phone gets hanged up few minutes after. He dozes off for a second before going back to reading.
....The strange thing this cyborg does is that he still has a tracks on Y/N's phone as he reads.
.
.
.
.
"I know Yugo is still alive.... I know him very well enough to know that he's strong enough to survive from the android."
Ike is seemed muttering to himself, having Mysta sitting next to him on one of the stools who is now busy sobering himself up from drinking water and eating the snacks Ike gave him. He seems to look exhausted after all the ugly crying and the venting Ike has to hear for hours. Ike is then glancing at the window with full of hope in his eyes, yet with full assurance that his plan will entirely go as planned.
Mysta is found, Y/N is still alive somewhere waiting for him, and Shu is on his way with the key to help fix Y/N's machine. Vox and Luca are the only ones needed to be found now.

Ebony Chitin - Eclipse
Richard Adams is something of a talented alchemist. One of the few magical professions that have anything to do with some kind of science. Everything was going swimmingly, until the 'cold night' incident happened. With it being determined as his fault, that such a thing happened. He was promptly exiled until he could return to Eclipse with a new 'discovery' for his field. What he didn't expect; was that he'd run into a strange humanoid monster that could seemingly heal any life threatening wound in a matter of seconds. Certainly this would be what he needs to become a master alchemist. The first step on a multi series journey. Please excuse the earliest chapters and their poor grammer. Ebony Chitin follows Richard Adams, and Mimi on their Journey to understand each other and the world around them. Due the the exploratory nature of such a claim, it will cover many different topics. This was my first attempt at actually writing a story, and because of that I will not edit it. I'd suggest reading the second part as it comes out as most of the things within this book will be recapped. Though if it becomes popular I hope it might inspire some of you readers to write your own stories. Cover Art by Rose Dragon
