"Great gravity force... Blue-black sparks... The grenade ring..." Sonny mutters as he reviews everything that is posted on the investigation board, trying to connect dots through string and pin.
Since your gang's disappearance, the Commander Officer surprisingly hasn't taken suspicious of you despite of you strange arrival at his office(or was he too down bad for your adorable behavior to even notice that-). Yet... He was, in some way, quick-witted to find out that the boys you have came with have fled in a unnatural way.
And he must get to the bottom of that as soon as he realized that.
"...The ring won't do- The suspicious weirdo in a cat maid dress was wearing gloves so they couldn't find any fingerprints... And the grenade ring doesn't match with all other rings made in arms factories around the world...-
What would this weapon come from...?"
Sonny keeps questioning, looking through the ring that is hanged in a pin next to a photo taken of Mysta wearing the maid outfit, it is slightly blurry by how fast he was running.
Knowing that there's no fingerprint on the ring, Sonny will just have to feel around its surface through a thin glove for any mark or hidden signature in it... Until he feels a tiny bump.
He then turns the ring at a certain angle to closer to see tiny signature symbols.
"Yi....Na...?" Sonny reads, struggling to read. So he then uses a magnifying glass.
"'Yinara'...?" Sonny then reads, "It must be the name of the corporation that created this."
*KNOCK KNOCK!*
Sonny slightly jumps out of his seat once hearing the knocks from the door, yet his jumpy demeanor is rarely noticeable around the cadet that just arrived through his door.
"Taichou! There's a critical case of a cyber crime, difficulty level: severe!" The soldier informs to the commander as he adjusts his hold on his gun... Must be pretty heavy.
"On my way." Sonny immediately responds, taking his machine gun with him before leaving.
___
"Excuse me- have you seen this girl???" Alban asks to an old woman as the screen can see Yugo in the background, slamming a neon blue hammer on a poster, sticking it in some wall with Uki holding a pile of purple posters for him.
In all of those posters has a picture of you (taking through Alban's phone) sitting at the bar booth where you and Alban once where, wearing your pretty 1969 dress at that moment. You were smiling so bright with a shy hint as you were beside Alban.
However, some people who have been asked by Alban would only look at him skeptically once they see the image from his phone- the attire difference is just so sussy for them Ah- (;-;
"Sorry, boy. I've never seen someone wear such lovely clothes since my grandmother passed away when I was in my 20's..." The old lady apologizes, feeling a sense of nostalgia, remembering her grandmother's taste of clothing.
"Is she... Your lover?" The woman gives Alban a smile, noticing how very happy you both look together in the picture. The catboy's calm demeanor was lost for a moment, an embarrassed look replacing it.
"A-Ah-Ah...-" Alban stutters, "N-No no!!! She's a friend..." He hesitatingly responds as his hands wave around slightly motioning as no.
"We only know each other for a few months,,, before we got separated."
"Ah, I see... I hope you search goes well for you, sweetie." The old lady nods with a sincere, sympathetic look before leaving with her cane.

Alban can only sigh as he walks to where the other two boys are, before crouching against the nearest wall... No updates about you.
"I think we have put enough posters in this area... We can head off for the night." Yugo says as he wipes the sweat off from his forehead, placing the hammer away out of thin air magically. "I never thought being alone in a city with barely nothing can be this hard...-"
"Welcome to the wanderer's club-!" Says Alban, half-sarcastic but not in a bad manner as he experiences this before as an everyday life thing sometimes.
"It'll be alright, I guess... Alban did mention that our state of hunger is stopped through time no matter the foreign timeline we're in. We just need a roof to stay in."
Uki smoothly explains, trying to look around for some roof or hiding place.
"Alban, you we're here before, right?"
"Yep- only for a week before being teleported to somewhere-" Alban says as his eyes catch something shiny on a passerby before skillfully sneaks to get it. He successfully steals it. "I found a... An abandoned fort, let's just say."
"Abandoned....?" Yugo says, raising his eyebrow as he and Uki are following the Phantom Thief. He doesn't question his stealing habits as they're in a big situation at the moment.
"Yep! I found it abandoned hidden behind metal fences filled with grown plant vines- which has a big hidden hole on it. Follow me! I remember it's a few blocks away from us."
___
"Ta-da!!! Welcome... To my third home!" Alban says with a grin, letting the boys enter before him.
Yugo and Uki walk in and look around the area, the place is quite dusty and you can see some spider webs around.
"Uh... I think I just saw something moving..." Uki says as he sees something tiny and black moving from the corner of his heterochromic eyes.
"Yeah... It has been a while since I came back here- wonder how my crew is doing!" Alban says before rushing deeper into the lobby room.
"Agh... Gotta tidy this place a bit..."
As Uki half-grouchily says this, but is willing to help Alban make the building's floor a bit cozier at least. He uses a large handkerchief from one of his pockets and ties it to the lower part of his face like a mask before starting to grab the nearest broom. As Uki starts working, Yugo can only follow around Alban as he looks around, trying to get a good tour around the big building.
"HEY~!!!" Alban exclaims happily as he sees the said crew he mentioned:
A pile of small cats.
"Meow meow meow, meow~!!" All the cats now continuously coo at Alban before pouncing on him into a group along with some head nuzzling. Alban can feel it as a heavy fluffy blanket has been wrapped around him.
"I miss you guys!!! How are you doing???" Alban sweetly say as he pats and caresses every cat's head he can reach. Yugo chuckles as he gets closer, kneeling to pet at least one of them.
"You have these cats here?" Yugo asks with a tiny smile.
"Yeah... I tend to bring a cat in whenever I found one wondering around the streets all alone- I just can't leave them in this dangerous place!"
"They're strangely small... Very small."
Yugo comments with a concerned look, letting one of the cats climb on his palm as a few other cats surround him. Some cats look like they're wearing blue and some tend to wear colorful glasses, other kinds of hats, or scarves.

One cat literally fits perfectly right into the palm of Yugo's hand.
"That's what I thought too- but they're probably genetically that way." Alban shrugs, gently rubbing one of the cats' fur as another one is now hidden beneath his scarf, "I tried to feed them regularly and even give them exercises for a few weeks, but they have never change shape ever since!"
Alban then stands up to take out his jacket after trying to remove the hidden cats from his shoulders, before putting it into the nearest coat hanger.
"You guys must be hungry...- I'll go get some food." Alban suggests, on his way to the food cabinets. "The floors are needed to be cleaned for them..."
"..."
Once Alban notices Yugo's silence after feeding the cats, he turns to the DJ to see him suspiciously staring at him as if an idea just crossed his mind.
"What..? Is there something on my shirt?" Alban asks while dusting off chairs for the both of them before sitting.
"...You look like a konbini guy without the jacket." Yugo points out, low key shocked as he places a finger on his chin in thought.
.
.
.
.
"Oh... wait a minute-"
Alban clears his throat before trying to search for a hat and an register box from the pile of lots of 'borrowed' objects he placed, before placing the hat on his head and the box on a tall table. He gets behind the table.
"Irasshaimase~!!!"
"..." Yugo pauses for a bit, "Holy sh- DHDHHDHDHSHE???" the DJ just laughs, already noticing it.
"You really look like a konbini guy!!!"
"Hehe-" The thief only bashfully chuckles in response before going back to petting the cats.
Some of the cats with the blue hats also were trying to make the konbini impression as well in their own way- which doesn't help with Yugo and Alban's constant laughing and wheezing,,, 🤣
Uki suddenly comes back to the other two, looking concerned but blank as he peeks in from the wall. He still has his handkerchief covering his mouth.
"Something happened..? I just heard someone laug- wow Alban, you look like the guy that work at a konbini-" Uki stops before staring at Alban questionably.
"HAHAHHAHAHJEJ-"
.
.
.
"Aaaa,,,, I'm gonna- I'm gonna sneeze-" Alban says before sneezing, "ACHOOOO!!!"
"Tskr."
Yugo unhesitatingly says as he tries to clean every electric item that are wither found by Alban or has been
left in the piles somehow, before trying to neatly place them on the recently cleaned tables or the floor. "Some items need to be thrown away- th
"You're Japanese?" Alban says, now remembering how Yugo sometimes says Japanese lines whenever he's SUPER panicking or frustrated at something.
"Yeah." Yugo, casually says while starting to setup a computer once he realizes there's a matching setup within the piles, "Who even left this functioning computer..?" He whispers to himself, not believing what he just found.
"Those are the items random people left outside-" Alban starts, "To be honest, I have no idea how to turn it on in a building with no electricity and signal."
"It needs some adjustments- If we find a generator, maybe we can get electricity for tonight." Yugo says, inspecting the setup.
They can hear Uki loudly whining about "a dirty kitchen sink, omg no-" along with a bunch of happy cat noises from the background, lol-
"Alban- you have to tell your cat army to not step into this kitchen or else,,,-" Uki quietly cries, noticing some scratch marks in the kitchen furniture.
"Eh-???" Alban nervously sweats as he rushes to the kitchen, "Crew! You should all stay in the play room for now- we're cleaning right now!!!"
Yugo can only witness the situation with a small chuckle, before wiping his smile a bit. He glances at the device that is now place in the living room table few inches away from him. The device of your hologram heartbeat.
He takes the device with him before going upstairs, the elevator is not yet working so he has to use the stairs. He only needs the 3 floor as his bedroom for now as Uki uses the 2nd room while Alban uses the lobby room where the cats' corner is. Once he gets to his temporary room for the night, Yugo opens the window before angling the hologram device's antenna towards the sunlight for charging. He can only turn the hologram on every morning as he pleases... As long as it's well charged by sunlight.
"I can feel myself getting closer to you... I just know it." Yugo states as he lays his head on his arms while leaning on the desk, looking at your lively heartbeat waves and the relieving melody it brings along to him.
"I'm praying that Ike-sensei finds you,,,, if I don't..."

*BANG!*
In the camera point of view, it can see Sonny kicking the door open with his machine gun.
"VSF!!! HANDS UP, YOU HACKER SCUM-" Sonny aggressive exclaim, "BABABABBABABBAABBABABABA-" He then starts to shoot and spray around the bedroom that is mysteriously filled with cat girl posters...-
"BABABABABANG!!!" Sonny finally stops before looking around the room, realizing that it's empty.
"Taichou,,,, wrong room." An armed officer appears beside the said blonde man as he says this quietly.
"I know,,, I was just testing you." Despite of the embarrassing situation, Sonny merely brushes it off smoothly before going back to his job.
And once again, Sonny kicks down the door as two of his men enter as the front line.
"VSF! AAAAHHHHHH- Huh?" Sonny stops from trying to shoot as he sees that there's no one in the room besides them.
"D*mn! We're too late." Sonny replies at the emptiness, "It took too long to track their ancient tech."
To be honest, being a futuristic cyber officer is not as easy as it seems... When there are still boomers around probably still using an old apple somehow- 🤔
"Looks like they've hacked into the Tachyon Data Centre security!" One of the armed men informs to the commander after scanning the compute with his visor.
"NANIII?! So that's what they're after- LET'S MOVE OUT!!!" Sonny quickly commands once learning the information.
"ROGER!"
.
.
.
.
Eh... Sonny. It's your turn to narrate this part.
'Oh- got it, author-san!' *clears throat*
'I'm Sonny Brisko, I command an elite special forces squad in the virtual police.'
'The year is 20xx. In this virtual era where high developed VR technologies are essential, criminals abusing that technology continue to appear everywhere and everyday... Theft of cybercurrency... Virtual Identity Fraud... Illegally downloading cars... And cyberattacks perpetrated by extremist hackers.'
'We're VSF, as you can see by our armed equipment and bulletproof vests and plates, founded to specially counter virtual criminals through VR...'
'Today, we tracked down mysterious anomalies that were probably suspects for committing physical kidnapping on an innocent lady- And then, we're now setting on hands on a equally critical case that is finally tracking down the notorious hacker group "Black Out". That has been perpetrating cyber attacks against the society-'
"Alright, we're here. You guys sneak in from the back-
I'll break in from the front like a man." I command to my men as they immediately get out of the transportation.
"Roger! Wait- all by yourself? Is he gonna be alright?" An armed officer says with a concerned, also confused tone.
Another officer simply sighs, "It'll be alright if it's him... No problem."
___
.
.
.
'Okay, author-Chan. It's your turn now!!!'
Thank you, Taichou. *cough cough* what a nice lemonade drink I got from my short break...-
But anyway, let's head off to the story with a dramatic time skip. ówò
.
.
.
*CLICK!*
"Police Commissioner... You're under arrested for perpetrating cyberattacks and attempting to alter the timeline era!" Sonny declares with a serious look before huffing, "This is what happens when you mess with my superchats and my oshi!!!"
Turns out the person that was behind the schemes and the leader of the hacker group was VSF's Police Commissioner- an old-fashioned man who seems to have a tough knot on virtual technology. He was attempting to go into the past with one of the big mechanisms, created and specially used by the police department, to undo the virtual era.
"I'll get out of this, and seek for revenge!!!" The bald man angrily protests as he gets handcuffed.
"Oh no.. You won't." Sonny ominously says in a surprising calm tone. Though, his eyes aren't definitely smiling.
As if it's a cue, a red man appears from the sky, landing on the ground slightly kneeled down which nearly breaks the cement floor.
"You will be in the hands of the android regime now..." Sonny briefly explains before turning around to walk off, not paying in mind of the ex-commissioner's cries as the criminal gets dragged away by the red men.
"You'll be in a termination trial for this." Says one of the androids.
But little did everyone knows, the old man seems to have know what he have already done before they realize by the sinister smile he is wearing afterwards.
Before Sonny comes back to the van along with the squad, he has to first investigate the mechanism's monitor for its status and state.
It states it's processing-
"Wait- processing...? Processing for what???" Sonny mutters himself as he tries to type everything on the monitor. The squad stops their steps to look at him.
*Bing!*
'It's too late.' The voice of the criminal hacker says in Sonny's mind, maliciously chuckling, "The program has already finished installing. Nuahhahahahaa-'
"D*AMN- There must be a way to stop it!" Sonny exclaims as he keeps typing and typing.
"Sowwy~ " The said monitor cutely says as the passwords Sonny types on are declined.
"Huh?! Whaddaya mean "Sowwy~"? Don't mess with me!" Sonny barks back frustratingly. You can see an irl mark on his head as he waves his punch around at the strange hologram logo that has the kaomoji, before clocking the monitor's base. Sparking an electric eye from above.
That same blue light portal that gets people into time traveling loops-
"What the...- AHHHHHHH-"
"TAICHOUUUUU!!!" That was the last thing Sonny is going to hear from his squad mates before being sucked into the wormhole.
Before Sonny fortunately did brought his machine gun with him from the ground, but he couldn't get on hold of the nearest metal bar.
So he just now falls down after being turned upside down.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH- Ouch."
And now he fell on an unfamiliar cement material floor, right in front of Alban's abandoned building and already trespassing the hidden fences(such irony-).
.
.
.
Uki was merely trying to test the telescope Alban gave him for the penthouse, which is still under maintenance for cleaning- until he sees a yellow flash coming upwards from the familiar portal.
"Portal- wait, a falling star???" Uki questionably says with a concerned looks as he zooms more- "Wait, that's a person-"
He follows the falling body that was falling from a high altitude, only to see them landing RIGHT ON HIS STOMACH SO HARD-
"OH SH*T-" Uki nearly fell from his high seat before continuing to inspect the body with the telescope- can't believe this thing actually can be face in such large angle downwards....
"Ouch... Now I don't know how to even fix that cement floor..-" The Psychic points out afterwards, noticing that a big crack has been made thanks to the falling highlighter. "Gotta check if he's dead...-"
