The next morning, Rosie was up first which was what he planned. He left a note for Annalise and put on his favourite outfit.

Rosie made his way to his daughters room where she lay awake silently, "hey baby girl" he said picking her up out of her crib and changing her into the outfit he had bought. He took her down stairs and fed her before they made their way outside.

Annalise woke up an hour after Rosie because she was still tired from the birth, when she got up she noticed a note on his side of the bed.

I have loved you since the day I laid my eyes on you, it may have taken you almost leaving to express my feelings but I'm so glad I did, a year ago I would not have expected to be with the love of my life and our new daughter, you have made me more than just a pathologist with a heart condition, you have made me a father, I love you will everything I have and u make a bad day into the best day. Annalise was in tears, she felt exactly the same as Rosie. She got dressed into her usual tank top and jeans and made her way to the garden.

Rosie was hiding behind a bush in the garden watching his daughter laying on her mat when Annalise came out.

"Hey sweet girl, where's daddy?" She said approaching her daughter, she went to pick her up when she stopped. "Oh my god" she screamed, tears filling her eyes. Barrett's baby grow read, "will you marry daddy?" She picked up Barrett

Annalise turned round to Rosie on one knee behind her, "I love you and I want to spend the rest of my life with you, marry me Annalise Villa?"

Annalise was in shock, she had her baby in her arms, "yes of course it's yes!" The couple kissed and hugged as a family for what felt like hours.

Annalise and Rosie still hasn't told anyone but their families about the engagement and today was Annalises first day back at the firehouse, she was excited to get back to it but she knew she would miss her daughter. Barrett was going to stay with her Grandma Daisy for the day while her parents were working.

When Annalise got the the firehouse she went to her locker to change, Vic and Travis were in the beanery when Annalise made her way in, "your back!!" Vic said excitedly as she ran up to hug Annalise, "you look great Villa" Travis said, "thanks" she said sitting down, as Annalise sat down Travis noticed the diamond that sat on her finger and picked her hand up to show Vic, "he proposed?!" Travis screeched "trav I have enough screeching at home with Barrett I don't need it at work too" she joked, they laughed and the rest of the team came in to see her ring.
