"Dealana..." Erza breathed looking at the angry dragon slayer who emitted a powerful aura of magical energy, "She ate the lightning...she...she entered her dragon force!" Erza realized before the girl was gone in a trail of lightning, heading straight for Kardia Cathedral.

"Weren't you just saying something about our guild needing to change?" Natsu questioned Laxus as the Thunder Palace was destroyed and the town was saved, "That's funny. I don't see anything that needs changing. It looks like everybody's getting along just fine to me. How do you expect to become our master if you can't get along with the rest of us?"
Laxus let out a guttural growl before he screamed in anger, lightning surrounding his body and destroying some of the surroundings inside the Cathedral. "I'll take Fairy Tail by force if I have to! Watch me! It's mine!" he roared.
"I think it's about time for you to give up the fight." Natsu shouted over the wind and lightning that was coming from Laxus, "You're not taking over Fairy Tail 'cause I' never gonna let that happen."
"Oh, yeah?" Laxus asked, "You don't know who you're messing with. I'm a lot stronger than any of you ever dreamed. I could take over the guild by force anytime I want." As he continued to yell, the amount of lightning being emitted only increased, "And you're not strong enough to stop me! Your best bet is to just get out of my way!"
Natsu only faced him with a fiery fist, "Sounds like you're just begging for someone to knock you down a few notches. I could do that." Natsu propelled himself into the air, "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!" However the result wasn't what he expected. Before his attack could even hit, the fire was extinguished somehow by the lightning.
"Come on. That all you got?" Laxus shouted blasting Natsu away with his hand, and sending the scarf-wearer to the ceiling with a crash. "You're gonna have to do a whole lot better than that. I've got more power than you in my little finger."
Kicking off the ceiling, fully engulfed in flames, Natsu charged with another attack at Laxus, who launched into the air himself to meet the dragon slayer halfway. It was Laxus who landed the hit, and it was straight to Natsu's gut. With a growl, Laxus used his other hand to lightning punch Natsu down a little where he was met with Laxus' knee and yet another punch. The salmon-pink haired male crashed into the floor below. He barely had time to recover and register the lightning blast Laxus sent his way right after until it was too late.
Natsu went flying back even further and landed on his back, lightning crackling around his body. "Man, I don't understand this." Natsu groaned slowly picking himself up, "He's so strong."
"Can you feel the electric energy of the lightning I've summoned forth?" Laxus questioned with an electrified fist in the air. The lightning rolling off joined more in the air to form a great ball ready to smash down upon Natsu at any moment.
"What the heck? I can't move a muscle." Natsu realized.
"It will plummet from the heavens and turn you into ash. Raging Bolt!" Laxus cast the spell. Natsu watched with wide eyes, paralyzed as the massive attack came closer and closer, until it hit. The aftermath was bright, blinding light. Laxus laughed seeing no more Natsu, only cracked floor and steam rising from the ground where the fire Dragon Slayer once laid. "So, who's the most powerful wizard in our guild now?" Laxus asked before breaking into hysteric laughter, "Guess you can't really answer that question since you've been turned to dust!"

"Personally, I think Natsu would have turned to ash and not dust, seeing as he's a fire dragon slayer." a rather dark but yet, still feminine voice spoke. Laxus looked up to see Dealana in her dragon force, but he didn't recognize her with the new look. Silvery-grey hair that floated around and even looked like a cloud. Golden patches of scales on her wrists, arms, ankles, and around her now fierce golden eyes. It wasn't until Natsu looked from where she held the back of his torn up vest to see the loose pink anklet that he realized who this person was.
"Dealana." Natsu breathed in surprise and relief. Laxus having heard, looked at the livid girl with a surprised look as well.
"The little runt. Quite the little transformation––"
"I didn't come here to talk. I came to settle things." Dealana told him leaping off the cloud and leaving Natsu to slowly recover.
"Hey! Now hold on, Dealana! You stay out of this! I'm gonna take down Laxus on my own!" Natsu shouted as he tried to move, but alas, the paralysis hadn't worn off.
"Shut up." Dealana told him, not taking her rage-filled eyes off of Laxus, who appeared rather amused, "You are more than welcome to take on Laxus, but the monster in front of us, is not Laxus."
"Hmm?" Natsu looked over to where lightning continued to crackle around Laxus' body.
"What's the matter?" Laxus taunted, "You scared? You should be." he spoke with sinister laughter following. Natsu finally looked conflicted, realizing that maybe he had been wrong to suggest that Laxus wouldn't have actually hurt the former statues.
"He's the enemy. And I'm going to stop him right here, right now!" Dealana growled, a few tears of frustration pooling in her eyes, "Everyone beside you, Gajeel, and I are knocked out from fighting each other or the Thunder Palace! He threatened the town, the guild, "
Dealana suddenly appeared behind Laxus, so fast he almost didn't dodge the Storm Dragon fury claw she had aimed for his back. The lightning mage turned and grabbed, Dealana's wrist before launching her into the air. Instead of summoning a cloud like usual Dealana manipulated the air flow and used it to propel herself at Laxus, a cold storm enveloping her leg.
"Storm Dragon Talon Blizzard!" It landed and Laxus was pushed backwards but Dealana didn't stop and repeated the spell after flashing behind him again with incredible speed. The lightning mage tumbled and rolled before recovering without a scratch on him.
"That actually tickled me a little bit." Laxus sneered facing the girl while Natsu regained his ability to move. He was positioned behind Laxus, and said spiky blond didn't realize. But Dealana did.
"Storm Dragon Misted Rain!" from her raised palm, a cool, damp fog began to settle within the Cathedral laying down cover for her next move. "Storm Dragon Fury Claw!" she moved through the mist and swiped at Laxus, who was able to sense her and dodge by jumping into the air. From behind Laxus, Natsu had the next attack ready and surprised him with a Fire Dragon Brilliant Flame. The massive ball of fire sent Laxus down to the ground where Dealana landed another attack before he fully hit the ground.
"Storm Dragon Cyclone Pulse!" A wind torrent shot forward and sent Laxus tumbling once again before Natsu and Dealana used their dragon's breath.

"Fire Dragon..."
"Storm Dragon..."
The two attacks, though not combined, were a direct hit on Laxus and the explosive aftermath left them wondering if he was finally defeated. He wasn't.
"Don't tell me that's the best the two of you can do. Neither of you deserve the title of Dragon Slayer." Laxus declared as the smoke cleared revealing only a few tears in his purple button up.
"What the heck? He doesn't even have a scratch on him." Natsu gasped. Dealana only growled, her magic power beginning to overflow in waves around her body. Natsu was amazed, but picked up on something else coming from Dealana, bloodlust.
"I'll let you guys in on a little secret––I haven't told anyone about this, 'cause I really hate the old man's lectures, but I guess I could trust the two of you." Laxus said before his teeth elongated to slightly sharper points and his muscles grew and tore his shirt up further. Scales formed on his arms and he roared while surrounded by an aura of lightning.
"You got to be kidding me." Natsu complained.
"Lightning Dragon..."
"I had no idea Laxus is a Dragon Slayer, too." Natsu uttered before Laxus finished his spell.
"Roar!" A decimating dragon's roar of lightning shot forward, tearing up the ground as it went before it hit and formed a great explosion. Natsu was left on the ground, lightning crackling along his body as he was once again paralyzed, but a large chunk of the spell was consumed and successfully eaten by Dealana who only wiped her mouth and released a loud yell of her own as more magic pulsed from her body in violent waves of mixed weather patterns. Some were heatwaves, some were pure gale force winds, others were lightning, and even cold front waves emitted from the absolutely livid girl. As he felt the magic, Laxus' eyes widened not ever realizing the power she possessed.
"You're still alive?" Laxus questioned, refusing to admit worry, "Damn, I was sure that would finish you off. Why won't you just kick the bucket already?"
"I can't move." Natsu groaned.
"If I ever die, I plan on taking you with me, you arrogant bastard! I'm going to make you ever regret bringing me to Fairy Tail! I'm not letting you take away my family or anything else form me anymore! Ya hear?" Dealana screamed using her enhanced speed to engage Laxus in one on one lightning infused attacks while Gajeel snuck in and picked up Natsu. Laxus landed a blow to Dealana's gut, sending her flying past the two other dragon slayers where she landed on her feet and used her hand to stop herself from going further backwards. She looked up with only rage written on her face.
"You three losers, Erza and Mystogan, the old geezer, those weaklings in Fairy Tail, and the pathetic people of Magnolia––your time is over now!" Laxus screamed releasing a wave of electrified magic power.
"Where's all that magic energy coming from?" Gajeel wanted to know as he dropped Natsu onto his face and getting into a defensive stance.
'This feels familiar, like one of Gramps' spells.' Natsu thought
"This guy's insane. He's trying to cast Makarov's Ultimate Judgement spell. It'll target anyone the caster sees as their enemy. We're as good as dead." Gajeel realized. Laxus shook with sinister laughter as he formed the ball of light with his hands.
"You're right, metalhead." Laxus admitted, "I've mastered the Fairy Law spell."
"That's the same spell that defeated Master Jose. No." Gajeel recalled.
"Laxus, what are you thinking?" Natsu shouted at him, "Don't do this!"
"Laxus!" Dealana attempted to run forward but the magic power emanating from the spell's preparation forced her back.
"Laxus stop!" Levy's voice shouted over everything somehow as she appeared in the Cathedral's entryway.
"Levy?" Natsu questioned as they all looked at her.
"You idiot. What are you doing here?" Gajeel shouted.
"You've got to see the master." She told them, "He doesn't have much time!" but Laxus didn't listen and continued to cast his spell, "Master Makarov, I mean your grandfather, is close to death!" she yelled with tears in her eyes. Laxus paused slightly and Levy continued to speak, even moving forward a bit, "Stop this now. Go see him one last time. Please hurry before it's too late!"
"No, it can't be. Gramps is gonna die?" the idea seemed impossible to Natsu, even as he said the words himself, "No way." Dealana froze and nearly let her anger go for a second.
"Please, Laxus!" Levy begged. Laxus' response was no good.
"This is working out perfectly for me. Now that the old man is at death's door, I have an even better chance of becoming Fairy Tail's new master."
"Damn you." Gajeel cursed. While Natsu still struggled with the idea of Gramps dying. It couldn't be true!
"This will be the dawn of a new era for Fairy Tail." Laxus declared as the spell in preparation grew brighter and rubble from the ground rose up into the air. "I'll rebuild everything from the ground up. I'll form the ultimate guild. One so powerful, all will tremble at our name!" he roared.
"You can't do this!" Natsu shouted, "Don't you even care about Gramps at all?"
"Laxus! I know that deep down you still care! Do you really want to do this? Laxus!" Dealana screamed.
"Fairy Law." and it was cast. A pillar of light rose in the cloudy sky and a large magic circle appeared over the Cathedral before the light flooded through all of Magnolia.

You'd think that after expressing a desire to go get icecream and then offering various ways to get it even when the parents say they don't want to drive that your older sister wouldn't take your younger siblings to get ice cream without asking you if you wanted to come. No. But that's what happened. I channeled the actual betrayal I felt into this chapter. It shouldn't hurt this much, honestly. I don't think it's the ice cream, but the fact that they all KNOW that I would've wanted to come and they didn't think to ask. It really actually hurts. I'm genuinely angry, especially when I didn't realize and offered to pay if she took me, but then she kind of laughs and says they already went!
Anyways, what did you think of the chapter? Is Dealana PO'ed or what?
