《LITTLE FURY ( fairy tail. )》CHAPTER THIRTY-TWO ➵ RED AND BLUE

Dealana's smile grew wider after hearing the voices of Natsu and the others. Knowing that all four of them were alive meant that all they had to do now was beat Zero, destroy the six lacrima simultaneously and finally stop Nirvana before it destroyed Wendy and Carla's guild, Cait Shelter. The more Dealana thought about what had occurred within less then twenty-four hours, she realized that she never got to fight anyone aside from her minor skirmish with the Oración Seis at the beginning, but she didn't really want to count that as a real fight.
"Guys," Hibiki's voice brought the Storm Dragon Slayer out of her thoughts. "my telepathy's about to cut out. Awhile ago, I uploaded a map to each of your minds. I numbered the lacrima so you can find them. Everybody choose a number, okay? Then split up,"
"I'll take one," Natsu claimed while Gray chose, "Two."
"Guess I'll take three," Lucy added. "Please don't let Zero be there." She said more to herself.
"Dibs on four!" Dealana told them.
"I can take number five," Erza decided.
"Erza! Guess you're feeling better, huh?" Natsu cheered.
Erza smiled saying, "Yeah, it's all thanks to you guys,"
"That leaves me with––" Dealana punched Jellal's shoulder just hard enough to make him shut up before Natsu recognized his voice.
"You're left with number six," Erza finished for him.
"Whose voice did I hear just now?" Natsu wanted to know. "Is there someone there with you?"
"Shut up and focus Natsu!" Dealana shouted back while Erza took that opportunity to remind Jellal that the Fire Dragon Slayer was still unaware of his condition and new alignment. The sound of a distant crash echoed before the telepathy was cut off, meaning Christina had crashed once again.
"We have six wizards now," Carla said after the group shared a small moment of silence. "Let's get the ball rolling."
"I'm off to number four," Dealana told them moving to stand on her cloud. They watched as she reshaped it into something reminisce of a surfboard. "It's the furtherest from any of us."
Erza gave the girl a smile. "I figured that's why you chose it, don't let me down."
"Crossing my fingers for Zero to be there, I'm kind of itching for a fight," Dealana grinned before pouting. "I'll be he's at number one though." Not a moment later, she was off.
Dealana floated through the long hallway until she finally reached her lacrima. She looked around but found no sign of Master Zero, which could only mean that someone else had to deal with him. Dealana had a feeling Natsu was able to smell the guy based on his position near the King's Summit.
Having to wait for the timer to go off left Dealana with able to pull Lisanna's bracelet from her pocket and examine the frayed edges. She wouldn't be able to fix it without creating a new bracelet, but a new one wouldn't be the same. Dealana decided she would wait until they returned to Fairy Tail to search for a possible mending spell.
Gazing back to the large lacrima, Dealana held the broken pink cord tighter, a wave of determination coursing through her body. It was almost time. Returning the bracelet to her pocket, Dealana felt the second bracelet wrapped around her ankle. Braided yellow with a small lightning bolt charm attached. If she was going to destroy the lacrima she would probably need a little lightning.

"A storm in my left hand..."
A storm of wind and snow engulfed her left hand.
"and a storm in my right..."
The familiar sound of crackling lightning reached her ears as a thunderstorm engulfed her right hand. Dealana breathed out calmly as the memories of the Battle of Fairy Tail flashed through her mind. She wouldn't let them steal her focus or her magic. Dealana was ready to move past it, for the sake of her friends.
"put them together and this is what you get!"
Dealana brought her hands together, forming a massive collection of swirling elements. A multitude of storms was at her fingertips, the time to strike the lacrima drawing near.
"Storm Dragon: Raging Disasters!"
The combined mass of stormy elements shot forward with immense destructive power, shattering the lacrima. Dealana grinned sinking back into her cloud, she had a strong feeling that the Allied Forces had won. Six simultaneous explosions rang out across Nirvana and the ancient walking city began to crumble.
Dealana's eyes widened as she realized something important. "Ah crap! I still gotta get outta here!"
The Storm Dragon Slayer surfed back down the tunnel on her cloud at top speed. She would be using the last of her magic energy after her attack on the lacrima, but she wasn't about to be smushed by Nirvana. Dealana shot out of her lacrima tunnel and into the cool night air. Her sharp eyes darted around looking for the others, who she hoped were able to escape in time.
Not seeing anyone, Dealana grew worried, but the bad lucky continued as her cloud suddenly began to dissipate rapidly from underneath her. "Are you kidding me!?" She complained loudly. The Storm Dragon Slayer was left in the air for a split second before she felt herself falling.
She crossed her arms as she fell backwards towards the ground, aiming a nasty glare at the dark clouds overhead. Moments later she hit the ground with an 'oof'. As the kicked up dirt cleared, Dealana noticed two figures looking down at her concerned. It was Erza and Gray.
"Oh good," Dealana sighed in relief. "You guys made it out alright."
They only smiled, both of them helping the girl to her feet as Horologium landed on the ground with Lucy and Happy safely tucked inside.
"Thanks for saving us, Horologium," Lucy told the spirit gratefully. "But I don't even remember summoning you."
"You didn't," the Celestial Spirit replied. "I passed through the gate of my own accord, I hope you don't mind."
"You can rescue us any time you feel like it, thanks!" Happy told the walking, talking clock.
"Miss Lucy's magic is getting stronger by the day, so it's likely you'll see more celestial spirits doing the same. That said, I'm more useful than the others as I can prevent oxygen deprivation, insect bites, inflammation, and blemishes." Horologium explained.
"No way! He prevents acne?" Erza exclaimed while Dealana laughed.
"Didn't know that was a problem for you," Lucy commented.
"Thank goodness," they all turned to see Wendy, Carla and Jura jogging toward thems, Jura being the one speaking. "everyone's alright."
"Even that silly blue tom-cat," Carla agreed.
"Dealana!" Wendy cheered with a wide smile before glancing around. "Natsu and Jellal, are they here?" she asked.
"I don't see them," Jura realized.
"You don't think after beating Master Zero and the lacrima that they're still inside, do you?" Dealana wondered, growing worried.

"I hope not," Wendy replied.
"He's probably lost in the woods, that flames-for-brains,' Gray told them.
"Hey, Natsu!" Wendy called out, hoping for a response. Happy began to run across the small clearing they were in yelling, "Where are you buddy?" before he yelped in surprise as a mound of soft earth rose up out of nowhere.
It was revealed to be Hoteye...er, Richard carrying a bewildered Natsu and unconscious Jellal. "Love drives us to save our friends! Oh yeah!"
"There he is," Gray smiled. "always with the dramatic entrance."
"They're okay," Wendy sighed before running towards them with a laugh. Dealana smiled and flopped back on the ground.
"I need a nap," She sighed looking at the stars.
Gray shook his head. "I bet after the stunt you pulled earlier,"
"Wait, what stunt?" Erza questioned. Dealana paled saying, "We'll talk about that one later, 'kay?"
"You saved my guild," Wendy told them all after nearly tackling Natsu to the ground with a hug.
"No, we saved your guild," Natsu corrected her.
"I didn't do much," Wendy tried to deny.
"Oh, come on, you destroyed a lacrima too," He pointed out.
"You're right," Wendy smiled brightly, tears of joy streaming freely down her face.

"I'm glad everyone made it out of there okay," Happy said as they were all gathered around. Dealana was now standing on her feet, but she was ready to drop at any given second. She doubted she would have enough magic energy for a cloud. It would be like her face plant from earlier.
"It was close," Jura commented. "Excellent work by all involved."
"Hey, who's that?" Gray asked turning to peer at Jellal who leaned against a rock behind them, the side of his face bearing the recognizable tattoo facing away from the group. Dealana stiffened unsure of how this would play out. It was up to Erza or Jellal himself to make the call. "Another pretty boy from Blue Pegasus?"
"Wouldn't we have met him earlier?" Lucy pointed out.
"It's Jellal," Erza stated simply causing Lucy and Gray to immediately flip out.
"You kiddin' me?" Gray questioned.
"Oh no, not him again!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Hush, you two," Dealana snapped. She was really tired and tended not to make much sense when she was.
"He's changed," Erza told them. "He's not the same man we dealt with before."
"This Jellal lost him memory," Dealana supplied before stretching her arms over her head with a yawn.
"Really?" Gray questioned skeptically.
"Mhmm! I punched him too, though not as hard as I would've liked. I saw him when I was being babysat by Cobra..." She trailed off, wondering if Cobra had been stuck on the crumbling Nirvana as well. If he was, he would likely be okay since he wasn't in the tunnels where the ceilings collapsed.
"Babysat? Dealana, I'm pretty sure that wasn't babysitting," Lucy sweat dropped as Dealana blinked at her owlishly.
"He wasn't that bad actually, his snake, Cubellios, was pretty chill and it's not like he could hurt me until Nirvana was found. But by that point he was more distracted by Nirvana being found, so..." Dealana shrugged her lack of sleep and running out of magic energy twice in less than twenty-four hours was beginning to catch up to her. "We made fun of his guild mates technically and I annoyed him a bunch." She remembered with a sleepy smile.
Lucy was looking at Dealana like she'd sprouted another head, sputtering about how she didn't make any sense. Happy just smiled saying, "Aye! That's Dealana for ya!"
➵
Jellal had been taken into custody by a jerk named Lahar and his army of rune knights. Natsu tried to fight and in turn the rest of the remaining Allied Forces too. Dealana enjoyed finally fighting someone even if she didn't use any magic. All except Erza, who put a stop to it all only for Jellal to finally remember.
Though he aided greatly in stopping Nirvana, the new Magic Council would certainly give him a life sentence, and even that was if he was lucky. There was a high chance that they would never see Jellal Fernandes again. Erza took it hard, needing to be alone. Dealana could respect that, but she also understood some of what Erza was going through. The loss of someone dear hurt beyond what people could imagine.
Dealana walked over to the crying Erza. Her bare feet barely making a sound as she made her way closer fumbling with something in her hands.
"Dealana I'd like to be alone right now," Erza said, her voice cracking as another wave of tears hit.
"I know," Dealana replied softly, continuing to move closer until she sat down next to the redhead. "I just wanted to give you something."
Erza poked her head up, just enough that her bloodshot eyes could watch as Dealana set something on the ground next to the two of them. The Storm Dragon Slayer looking out at the rising sun in front of them. The crimson color vastly similar but not nearly as beautiful as Titania's hair. Erza stiffened when she noticed a circle of blue and deep red colored braided cord.
"I doubt that I will ever understand what you're feeling right now," the young girl began. "I can only try and fail. But if there's one thing I can do, it let you know that there is still hope. There will always be hope. Fairy Tail taught me that." Dealana fiddled with the yellow and pink anklets she cherished.
Before he was taken, Richard happened to know a mending spell and Lisanna's bracelet was once again wearable.
"These bracelets represent my hope, that someday, my friends will return to me," Dealana felt a fear tears of her own fall down her face as she lightly traced the braid of the pink one. "It was what kept me going...sometimes it still is." She admitted slowly standing up again. "Take it or leave it, it's up to you."
As Dealana left to rejoin the others, Erza stared at the bracelet before her. Blue and red, she could only assume Dealana took them from threads of people's clothing. When Erza finally returned to the group, she would be wearing the bracelet around her wrist. A promise that she would see him again.
➵
I can't tell if I'm crying from the amount of stress I was dealing with earlier or from the scene and ending of this chapter...maybe all of them? It wasn't much, but I couldn't leave Erza alone, not when Dealana could do something, even if it was small.
This is also from the the last episode covering the Oración Seis arc. There's still a bit more (Wendy's grief over Cait Shelter) to cover that I'll likely combine with the episode after or something.

Shizuka
A/N: I'm actually writing two stories at once, this and another story on ScribbleHub. I have decided to put Shizuka on hiatus due to some RL issues but my story on ScribbleHub will continue since I'm co-writing it with a friend which is easier. Please do check it out on ScribbleHub. Series name is Walking in Shadows. Four Heroes were summoned from earth to combat an evil threat in Evarenan but there was a fifth person, Hirano Shizuka. She was never meant to be summoned. It was purely coincidental and unintentional. The God who acted as the intermediatery for the summon, has shunned her. Fated to live a harsh life in a foreign world. Abaddon, a Goddess, the Empress of Night, took pity upon Shizuka. Fascinated by the strength of her will and soul, and fond of her humble and accepting character, the Goddess offered Shizuka to be her Champion which Shizuka accepted. A month passed after the arrival of the Heroes and a plus one at Evarenan, the real trials and nightmares of this world had only just begun for our offworlders, especially Shizuka. AN: Shizuka is the sequel to Overture of an Odyssey, which takes place after the events of the latter.

Conquest Of Mortem
*NOTE* This novel is a war of attrition. To say anything less is a disservice to its demand. While comparable to other such works as Ulysses or Moby Dick, each sentence in Conquest is an enemy to be tackled. Not in the ways of difficulty but in absurd density that wishes nothing more than to destroy what patience you may have. Do not tackle chapters as you would ordinary chapters in an ordinary book. Tackle each chapter as a book unto itself. A foe to be vanquished, a period of life to leave behind. Seek to be master of this work. Seek to overcome. For in its design is the willpower, and the perseverance, and the strength of someone who sought meaning in struggle. As I discovered these in times of ultimate desperation, so I hope for you to discover these things. This novel is a love letter to your trials. May you overcome them. May you master them. May you become conquerer.- SeedSagaA literary epic for logophiles, philosophers, and poets alike. A journey into zeitgeist, the impact of media on culture, and the endurance of morality against an onslaught of hatred. These vague descriptions do little to compact Conquest's density into a bite-size summary. They do however relate the basest themes found within. A plot, if such can be surmised, is strung thinly across multiple perspectives, weaving together these concepts into a seemingly distorted tapestry of indecipherable events. Inspired by early 20th century modernism, Conquest will challenge the reader, and provide critique on the medium upon which all great stories are derived. Further interpretation is up to you now; an explorer among a sea of words. Venture on and discover what lies ahead, in...CONQUEST OF MORTEM
