《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Prologue

"Daddy, what's that in the sky." I asked pointing up.
He looked to where I was pointing. It looked like a strange bird.
"I don't know. It looks like a bird but..." He squinted a bit."It seems to have turned around though but it's still up there. I can't see a thing"
He looked down at me. " Now where is that clock you wanted me to look at, Raven?"
I smiled at him and handed him my clock. It was a nice clock that he had given me last year for my ninth birthday. I would stop aging in a few years. That's what daddy said any way. When I turned thirteen I would stop aging.
"Oh I see. It's stopped ticking. Well if I just tweak this slightly. Hold on a second." He said opening the clock.
"Raven will you run over and get daddy's telescope and keep an eye on that bird for a moment." He called to me continuing to fix the clock.
"Yes daddy!" I said running into his cabin. I liked using the telescope especially my daddy's. It was a very nice one and daddy said one day it would be mine
As I walked out of the cabin, I noticed that the bird was even closer than before.
I quickly put the spyglass to my eye and looked up at the bird.
"There we go now I'll just give it a quick polish and it will be as good as new. Have you found the bird yet Raven?" I heard daddy say
"Um daddy? I don't think that's a bird. It's green and it has arms?" I said slightly surprised. Maybe my eyes were playing tricks with me.
It was coming much closer now. I could see it without the spyglass. It had a head too. It was a young boy of about ten. And I only knew of one flying boy.

"Daddy! It's Peter Pan!" I shouted.
I had been warned about him before. He always attacked our ship and called us names.
"Hey Hook! You old codfish. How are you today?" I heard the boy call. Usually I just stayed inside when Peter Pan came. This was the first time I ever met him.
"And who is this little lady. Your newest victim from the real world?" He asked pointing to me.
"Get out of here pan before I cut off your arm and feed it too the crocodile!" Daddy screamed.
"Awww but I just got here." Peter said making a silly sad face and pulling a rope that opened up a sail.
"Pan!" My father said lunging at the boy and taking out his sword.
Peter was ready though and had his own sword drawn in seconds. I watched the two fight each other in a vicious duel.
Daddy still had my clock in his hand so it was harder for him to fight. Suddenly Peter was facing my father after twisting his sword from his grip leaving him unarmed.
"Now Peter. Let's not do anything rash. After all there is a child on board." He said nervously backing away.
"Well she can just cover her eyes and she won't see a thing." Pan replied.
He was going to kill my daddy. I felt my blood boil and I ran over and jumped onto pans back pulling him backwards.
He barely acknowledged me and just threw me off harshly. However being so close to the side of the ship I fell over board into the water. I saw my father run over to the side of the boat looking worried.
"Raven quickly swim away carefully towards the ship and don't look down!" He called to me looking worried.

I had learned to swim from a young age in case anything like this happened. I was confused as to why he looked so worried though. He knew I could swim.
"Don't make a sound. Smee is coming down now to get you. Keep looking at me-" his sentence was cut short as pan swooped down and swiped his sword at daddy's face.
He put his hands up to protect his face but the hand that was still holding my clock was cut of and fell down towards the water.
I finally saw why daddy wanted me to be so careful. A huge crocodile jumped out of the water and swallowed the hand and my clock.
Suddenly Peter Pan flew down and scooped me up out of the way of the crocodile.
"It's okay little girl. Your safe now. You never have to go back to captain codfish now. What's your name?" He asked me.
I don't know where it came from but I was so angry at that moment that I was more than willing to slit his throat at that moment.
Taking my own little dagger from my belt, I swung it at that stupid boy which probably wasn't the best idea ever.
He held up his hands in defence and dropped me before I could even graze his skin with the blade. I started falling down through the air waiting to hit a hard ground and possible death.
Suddenly I stopped falling. I was motionless in midair. I knew what was happening. Daddy had told me it could happen.
My mother was a fairy so there was a chance that I could start flying at some point.
I knew what had happened and I knew what to do. I flew straight up towards Pan who was taking out his own sword.
"My name is Raven and I want to stay on that ship thank you very much!" I screamed at him.
I flew up to him and he did what any fool would do in this case and swiped his sword at me.
I felt it swipe across my face onto my arm. And with that he flew in the other direction towards Neverland.
I flew down to my father who was surrounded by the crew clutching several blood stained rags to his left arm.
"Daddy!" I cried running over."Are you okay?"
He looked up at the sound of my voice. His eyes were wide with shock and pain.
Ignoring the pain in his hand he ran over to me.
"Raven! What happened to your face. You were flying and your hair..." I hadn't even noticed the pain at the side of my face and arm. Also my hair had turned from its usual curly blond locks to straight black.
"I'm fine daddy. But your hand. Are you okay?" I asked him
"I'll be fine. It kind of ruins my plans of being a hand model though doesn't it?" He said wincing slightly at the pain.
"Well you can use your name to your advantage now." I said, smiling.
"Oh yeah? How so?" He asked.
I grinned at him.
"You can wear a hook."
