《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 9

*Ravens POV *
One year later
"Get back here you stupid twat!" I yelled, chasing after one of the many lost boys who had decided to bid me good morning by dumping a bucket of water over my head.
It had been a year since Pan the king of kitchen appliances had taken me away from dad. We had become a lot closer than before. He was now considered one of my friends. Since I had left, I had met up again with dad four times. We couldn't see each other that often or someone would get suspicious. I had also become a bit closer with the lost boys but they just adored playing pranks on me. To be honest though, I pulled a decent amount on them too.
I hopped over a tree root kept chasing the little brat. He was quite fast considering he was only eight or nine.
At last I caught him and tackled him to the ground.
"Ha! Gat you! What have you got to say for yourself young man?" I asked pinning his arms to the floor. He just kept laughing.
"Okay that's it! I have kept my cool for long enough! Your gonna get it now!" I said raising my arms.
"Raven? What are you doing?" I looked up and saw Pan walking towards us.
"Oh I was going to tickle this little elf to death." I said casually.
"Just a usual Tuesday morning then. Continue." He said standing next to me.
"This'll teach you to dunk s bucket of water over my head!" I said raising my arms again.
"No! Peter! Save me!" The little rascal shouted, covering his face.
"Nope sorry kid. Your on your own this time." Peter said shaking his head.
"No! Traitor!" He yelled between laughter as I had begun the process of tickling by now.
"Raven go easy o him. It wasn't that bad. You're just incredibly grumpy in the morning." He said walking away.
"Get running Pan because I will show now mercy when I catch you." I said standing up.
"Oh crap." He said starting to run away with me got on his trail.
Walking over to the Indian camp, I found princess Tiger Lily in a crouched position a few metres away from me. I walked over and sat down beside her.

" Why are we crouching?" I asked. She jumped slightly when she saw me.
"Look there." She said pointing through some leaves. There standing alone picking up coconuts from the floor was Pan.
"Why are we watching Pan?" I asked.
" I was thinking about jumping out and scaring him but I decided to wait for you." She said.
" Oh yes. I have been meaning to get him back. I never got to tickle him to death for calling me grumpy this morning." I said, rubbing my hands together.
"Okay then. On the count of three. One...Two...three!"
"ROAR!"
"HOLY MAGIC GENIES!" Pan yelled dropping the coconuts and going into a battle position.
Tiger Lily and I rolled on the floor laughing as Pan glared at us.
" That wasn't funny!" He said.
" Yes it was! You practically jumped five feet in the air. And your face was like meh!" Tiger Lily said between giggles.
"No it wasn't! And look what you made me do! Now I have to pick up all of these coconuts again."
"Awww. We're sorry Pannington. But now you don't have to be tickled to death. Congrats!" I said, walking over and patting his head.
"Oh never mind. Anyway, we should start heading back. We need to eat dinner. And the lost boys are probably going to brutally murder me if they don't get food." Pan said standing up.
"Okay. Bye Tiger Lily. Say hi to the chief for me!" I called walking away with Pan.
"Pannington? Really? Out of all the nicknames you could come up with you chose Pannington?" Pan asked me after a few minutes.
"Hey in my defence it could have been worse. I was considering Lord Pansworthy or king of the sauce pans but I decided not to embarrass you. Yet." I said innocently.
"Where do you get these names from. You know I also answer to Pan or Peter. I've been answering to those names for a while now." He said.
"Yeah but they're not as fun. Pancreas." I said walking ahead of him.
"Hang on a minute. Pancreas? Isn't that a stomach organ?" Pan asked catching up with me.
"Yeah it might be. Why?" I asked.

"Where do you get these names from?" Pan asked.
"Well I just think of any words that have Pan in them and call you that. Pannington, Pancreas, Lord Pansworthy. That kind of thing." I said.
"Why not just call me Pan. I don't give you nicknames." Pan said.
"Need I remind you of Princess, Crow Girl and Rave Rave? Oh and Nap Time." I said pointing at him.
"Yeah well at least I don't call you lady Ravensworth or Rivington."
"Oh and Ravecreas!" I said, smiling up at him.
" I'm being to be serious!" Pan said.
"Hi serious. I'm Raven." I said extending a hand.
"No. I'm not actually serious! Im trying to have a serious conversation."
"A serious conversation about funny nicknames. Well that's never going to happen. Especially not with me." I said skipping off into the den.
"What's wrong with Peter Raven?" On of the boys, Robbie i think it was, asked me.
"Yeah he looks like he just tried to talk to that crazy weirdo in the Indian camp. You know the one who never makes sense?" Hugo said.
"Oh no. He just tried to have a "serious" conversation about nicknames with me. I can't even have a serious conversation about serious things. Clearly someone forgot that, not looking at any one in particular, Pan." I said looking at Pan who was sitting next to me.
" Really Pan? Did you forget who you were talking to for a minute?" Hunter asked him.
" Yeah we all know how hard it is for you to get distracted by Raven Pan." Jasper said, grinning at Pan who glared at him.
"Oh I mean is that butter? Oh so it is." Jasper said nervously. Clearly I missed something big here.
"Post! We got post!" Someone yelled as an arrow suddenly went flying past and hit a nearby tree with a letter attached to it.
"Now that's what I call air mail." I said as someone passed it to Pan.
"What does it say Peter?"
"Yeah who's it from?"
"Oh my goodness!" Pan suddenly said.
"What? What? Who's it from? What does it say?" Everyone asked, me included.
"It...its a pice of paper." Pan said grinning at us." I haven't opened it yet."
I whacked his arm for that.
"Ow! Honestly anger issues much." He said opening the letter.
"So can any one read?" He asked after a minute.
"Just read the bloody letter Pan. Or I'll tell the boys some of your lovely nicknames." I threatened.
" Okay, okay. I'm reading it."He said. His eyes skimmed the first few lines.
"Read it out loud Pan. You're killing us here." I said.
" Okay then:
Dear Peter Pan and the lost boys.
My name is Andrew Parkins. I am one of the most feared pirates in Neverland. It has recently come to my attention that the love of my life Raven is at your little camp site. Of course I knew that you were not alone in this heist and it has become clear to me Captain Hook decided to sell her to you. He is a very irresponsible man. I mean when Raven was only a young girl he slit her face and gave her a horrid scar. Clearly he has decided to sell her to you as a piece offering that you will not attack us again. Since Raven has left there has been no attacks by you thus far. Any way Hook has now been arrested for his crimes and I have been made head of the pirates. So clearly your leader has gone. I will give you about a year to return Raven or I will attack you. Eventually we will get some answers out of Hook as to where your camp is and who Ravens mother is. But until then I shall await the return of my beautiful Raven so that I can marry her.
Thank you
Andrew Parkins."
Everyone looked at me. I couldn't believe my ears.
Suddenly it all hit me. Dad was in jail. They could attack the lost boys. I might have to go back. Andrew was going to marry me.
"Raven. Are you okay?" Pan said.
I shook my head and ran away, jumping into the air and flying off with tears streaming down my cheeks.

Respec Ted
Ted is transported away from Earth and arrives in unknown lands, the world has been gamified with magic abilities, levels and a passive skill tree the size of a galaxy. When Ted gets the choices for his Class he gets overwhelmed with the possibilities. It started out mild; Knight, Wizard, Thief.. pretty generic archetypes took the space infront of him first, but got quickly covered by more class choices that popped up: Farmer, Lecturer, Necromancer, Vampire, Politician, Brute, Cyborg, Bounty Hunter.. it just kept going. There was no way Ted would look through them all, but he felt the importance of the choice he was about to make and hesitated. Then he noticed a blank choice with the sole word "Respec" on it. Ridiculous, he had not even made a class choice yet and there was a respec button on the ui, it did not make sense and he pressed it out of curiousity. "YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE RESPECIALIZATION CLASS".

Femira spent her life stealing scraps and looting corpses just to survive another day. When she stumbles upon the chance to steal another's identity, she thinks she's found the ticket to an easy life. But she soon finds the glamour of the runewielder's hall hides as much peril as the bloodslick streets. Abandoned by his abusive father at the far reaches of the world, Daegan may not have the powers of his ancestors but he refuses to die in banishment. Will he make it back home in time to prevent a brewing war? ------------------- This is a gritty drama-driven, rambling tale that presents mysteries early on that the characters work to unravel throughout the story. It swings between action, drama, and sometimes some darker comedy. Warning: A whole lot of profanity, alcohol, drugs, implied violence, actual violence and mega-violence—the kind that involves knives sliding into eye sockets and brains spilling onto floors—the usual stuff, scenes of intimacy, mercenaries, pirates, lots of moral ambiguity, including a wizard that likes to make tea with the heat sucked from his victim's bodies and a heap of world-ending monsters ready to eat people. _______________ Expectations: Updates every Monday and Thursday. Chapters will be between 2,000 and 5,000 words. I'm Irish and write in "Irish English" which is to say that I don't use much of the letter "z"
