《Hooks Raven{Peter Pan}》Chapter 23

*Peter Pans POV*
"Do you Raven Alexandra Elizabeth Hook take Andrew Francesco Parkins to be your lawfully wedded husband?" I heard the priest person say. I nearly laughed which would have blown our cover. I knew for a fact that her name was in fact Raven Mariposa Lily Hook. Andrew was clearly making something up.
I could see Hunter off to the side waving at Raven. She looked past her oversized sleeves and finally noticed him.
I saw her turn her attention back to Andrew and I thought that she would just panic and say yes. But thank goodness she didn't.
What happened next was a shocking surprise to everyone. Everyone gasped firstly and I saw a few of her bridesmaids whisper to Raven as if telling her to change her mind.
"No Samantha. I am not going to marry him. I don't even like him. Not to mention I can barely breath in this dress!" Raven said loudly. Everyone was looking around or surrounding Andrew who was looking speechless.
"Peter if you're going to go and get her I'd say go now before she's surrounded by the cloud of pink that is her bridesmaids." Edward whispered before running over to a small group of lost boys who were getting ready to fight.
I wondered through all of the guests and finally reached the alter where Raven was being surrounded by her cloud of pink. I tried to find a way through but that was easier said than done.
Suddenly I heard someone say my name.
"Peter Pan. Over here. You can get in over here." It was one of the smaller pink clouds. She stepped back with another two and gave me some space to get in and walk over to Raven.
"Thanks."
*Ravens POV*
Everyone went into a frenzy the minute I said no. I was surrounded by my bridesmaids and Samantha kept on telling me to change my mind and say yes with tears pouring out of her eyes.
I heard someone behind me and I tried to turn and see who it was but my sleeves got in the way.
Suddenly I felt someone grab me and drag me away. I screamed and started struggling.
"Hey stop it's only me." I heard the person say.

It was Peter. He poked his head over the side of my dress.
"Peter. Just in time too." I said.
"Pan! Put her down. Now!" Andrew was standing a few feet away from us with all of the guests behind him.
"Actually I thought I would bring her home to my den. Not here." He said.
"You and who else? I have an army of pirates and you have two fairies." Andrew scoffed.
"Well I brought a few lost boys and stuff as well." Pan said smartly as thirty or so lost boys walked over and stood with us.
"Well then put her down and I will fight you and I will of course win and then I shall marry Raven and there will be nothing that you can do." Andrew said drawing his sword. I didn't even know he had one.
"Can Raven just remind everyone that she is in fact standing here listening to what they are saying and also that this dress is really awkward." I said speaking up at last.
"Now Pan. Put Raven down and we shall fight." Andrew said ignoring me.
"Why don't we all fight? I'm sure that many of your little pirate friends would love to fight." Pan said. Of course the lost boys decided to go straight ahead and fight any way and the pirates decided to fight back.
"On your left Pan." I said before running off. It was incredibly hard to move in this dress and the sleeves weren't helping so I ripped them off. I took the headpiece off as well and finally managed to get my sword from where Cara had tied it to my leg.
I then ran into the battle and tried my best to get in a few good hits. It felt good to be fighting again. It had been a while.
"Lost boys! Start packing up! We have to leave!" I heard Pan call over everyone. I quickly found him fighting off Fishlegs and Scabby Tooth. These pirates really did have very odd names.
I was surrounded momentarily by a big group of pirates who got a few good hits in but before I could finish with them, a shot went off and we all turned our attention to Andrew.

*Peter Pans POV *
Andrew faced me again with his sword drawn and pointed at me. I had my own sword of course so we started circling each other.
"Alright Pan. You've had your bit of fun. Now let's get this over with so that I can continue my wedding." Andrew snarled.
"Oh yeah? And what makes you think you can win?" I asked.
"Easy. I've got a very hungry crocodile on the other side of the boat. I'm sure he'd love a snack." Andrew said gesturing to the side of the boat.
"Well we'll have to see who will be on the menu." I said as I lunged forward and started to engage him in a sword fight.
He was a bit rusty but it didn't matter.we fought until we were standing on the staircase of the ship.
"Come on Pirates! Why do you want this one bossing you around? He was telling you to kill innocent children who wouldn't hurt a fly. He was making you all constantly fight to get Raven for his own benefit. What kind of leader is that?" I called to the pirates. I could hear a few of them muttering in agreement.
"If Hook was still your captain, you would be free to do what you wanted like you always used to. All you have to do is get rid of Andrew." I said but suddenly Andrew had grabbed my sword and neck and had me hanging over the side of the ship.
"No!" I saw Raven rush forward and attack him from behind only to be flung off again. She hit the back of the ship and fell to the floor.
"You see? Would Hook ever do that? No he wouldn't. This is why we have to get rid of Andrew." I said again.
"Ha! Hook cut his daughters face open when she was a mere child." Andrew shouted.
"No he didn't. I did. I attacked them both and nearly cut her face open. Hook is innocent." I called one more time before the pirates caught on and started dragging Andrew away.
I could see a pink clouds follow him among a few of the pirates. There were only the lost boys, me, a few pirates and three of the little clouds of pink left on the ship.
I suddenly remembered Raven and ran over to her. She was trying to sit up while clutching her side.
"Raven! Are you okay? Here let me help you." I said picking her up and letting her rest against me.
"Peter. Help. Me." She croaked.
"What happened? Did you hurt yourself?" I asked.
"Yes. It hurts. I didn't notice it before. It was only when Andrew pushed me off when I felt it." She said. She pulled her and she away from her side.
They were covered in thick red blood and I could see it seeping through her dress. It stood out a lot against the white of the dress.
"Raven we have to get you back. Come on." I said picking her up and flying over to the lost boys.
"Boys. Tink will stay here with you and sprinkle you with fairy dust. Come home immediately." I ordered them.
"Wait. Those three girls. Bring them with you. Their names are Cara, Kiara and Jenny. They want to come. They gave me my sword." Raven said quietly. I had to get her back fast.
"You heard her. Bring them all back and stuff. I really have to go. Follow as soon as you can." I said quickly jumping into the air and flying off towards the den.
"Hold on Raven we'll be there soon." I said to her.
"Here are some photos. Of the wedding. I thought you all might want a laugh. Their hideous. They have their meanings or whatever on the back." Raven said handing me a pile of small photographs before passing out which just made me fly faster.
I just hope I wasn't too late.
-----------------------------------------------------------
A/N I'm just going to leave a few pictures here and stuff. I know they're not all the same but I just found them and decided to use them. Anyway you'll get an idea of what the bridesmaids looked like.

The Core And The Wardens of Eternity
What is the Core, they asked me... It's the light that pushes the darkness away, a bastion of justice, a safe keeper of life. It grooms love and tolerance, embraces science, fights ignorance, sentences it to die a slow and tragic death. The Core... it's something that can't be destroyed for destroying it is to terminate the time and space itself. When the stuck-in-a-dark-age world of Zanria goes offline, the Core sends one of its experienced agents to find out what is going on and to try to reestablish a mysteriously severed connection. However, all his training and experience might come way short as the world sinks in war and chaos with different races and clans fighting for the Star of Bardan, the ward rumored to possess enough supernatural power to create and destroy entire worlds. *** I just changed the name of the series, from 'the Nexus' to 'the Core'. Somehow it just sounds more right to me. This is the first story, and it has a medieval fantasy setting. But, eventually, this is going to turn into Isekai series with elements of LitRPG. So, my future books might include worlds with advanced technologies that might be more in SciFi, including Steampunk, genre. The first book might start slow, but after a few chapters, it should all be properly set up, and by then you should get the feel of how it will all flow. Also, I plan to introduce different story threats that should spread out and criss-cross in the future. Hopefully, I will not complicate it too much, and that it will all read good. I am planning to continue to add chapters to the main storyline here, but I'm also starting a new story threat in the Core series called The Recordings of Raan. There is also a side story The Memoires of Eisen that's exclusive on Patreon for those who would like to support me.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
