《The Underworlds Hero》Tales That Are Told

There's an old proverb. One I never really took much effort in knowing until recently. 'Everyone has a story'. From those words, I always figured it was something about everyone having something about themselves that they have to say. However, I began to realize as my journey to heroism began to take it's biggest step that this is wrong.
"And now, representing our class is your class valedictorian. Izuku Midoriya." The crowd clapped as I took the stage of our UA graduation. Looking out into the crowd, I noticed several people who had helped with the defeat of All Might as well as Melissa and uncle David, the Yaoyorozus, the Urarakas who were watching Eri, even some known top pros.
I let out a deep breath before speaking. "Thank you principal Nezu. Today. My classmates and myself take a step into the world we have always dreamed of going into. We understand that the road ahead has the framework of those before us laid out and we must take the lead one day. But with our past ordeals, our past struggles and the bonds we've made as classmates, allies and at some points, rivals towards a better dream for tomorrow. When I was starting UA, I learned that doing things alone is never the best idea at times. Though it may be easier, nobody can do everything alone. Having friends and comrades at your side sometimes helps far more than any quirk, any training, or even any talent you have. My classmates and myself have learned this and go into the world in the fields we plan to with this knowledge in mind. It pains me to know that once this is all over, we will most likely never be able to see each other as much as we used to, but I will still remember and think fondly of the happy moments when we would goof around, do harmless dumb things that we will look back today and question why we did them and act like normal teenagers. And so, I thank you all who have come here today to welcome us into the world we live in with open arms as we march up this podium and become the heroes, the support engineers, even the ones who may one day make laws to change others lives or keep the world afloat by our actions." I came off the podium to return to my seat with everyone clapping. Nezu hopped back to the podium to hold a large smile
"And now ladies and gentlemen, our graduating class of UA high."
After the ceremony, I began heading to the open area where the parents and guests were waiting to feel somebody tackle me to the ground. "Daddy!" I glanced down to see Eri with a huge smile on her face. "Congratulations!"
"Hehehe. Thanks Snowball."
"Congrats Izuku." Melissa and uncle David came over with a smile on their faces. "Uncle and aunty would've been proud to see this day." Melissa gave me a hand up before giving me a hug.
"Yeah. They would've loved it."
"Izuku!"
I turned to see Ochako running over to me for her to give me a bear hug. "Aww. Isn't that sweet." Uncle David started to laugh a bit before I noticed Ochako's hand.
"You showed your parents?"
"Yeah. They were overjoyed when I told them we were engaged."
Around the end of winter break and into one of our final terms of school, I decided that now would've been the best time to propose to Ochako. We've been really close since the defeat of All Might and she's been more than a loving mother to Eri to make this more than necessary to do. "Hey, isn't that aunt Inko's ring?"
"Yeah." I asked Ochako to give me her hand and show a ring that had a nice little green gem in the center of it with a silver band. "I wanted to use my mother's ring as a way to honor her. I did add small pink gemstones to the side of it as a way to make it more suited for Ochako."
"Then I guess you're using their wedding bands as well?" I nodded at my uncle for him to pat my head. "I'm sure that's what they'd want you to do."
I smiled a bit before having a graduation cap thrown at my head to catch it. "Kaachan, was that really necessary?"
"Easiest way to keep you from going emo on us again." Kaachan, Jirou, Momo, Toga, Kendo and their parents came over to congratulate us.
"Guess he got the better of us for engaging. Guess we'll have to be the first ones to have a baby." Toga smiled while holding a ring that had a yellow gemstone on her finger. Apparently, Kaachan had a similar idea as me for her and I just beat him by about a week. Man was he pissed when he realized I was faster than him. But he was genuinely happy and is gonna be my best man at the wedding.
"Didn't they already beat you in that with Eri?" Jirou questioned.
"I meant an actual baby that's biologically theirs. Eri doesn't count in this...No offense sweetheart."
"None taken aunty Himi."
Just like that, Toga's face lit up as if she was the happiest woman in the world. "So adorable!"
Speaking of couples, Jirou and Momo decided to wait until after graduation as a way to avoid any major comments from the media. I could've already seen the headlines if they did get engaged still in school. Most consisted of the lines of 'Yaoyorozu Marrying a Woman' or 'Daughter brings a Woman into the Family'. Stupid title ideas, but they would get the public with them. Whether they were positive or negative reactions of any kind. "Izuku." I came out of my train of thought to see Momo looking at me in the eyes. "Congratulations. I hope that everything works out for you, Ochako and Eri in the future."
"Thanks. I hope the same for you and JirouOOF!" I was cut off by a kick the the top of my head to turn and see Miruko, Hawks and Endeavor with Shoto and his family in the back.
"Yo. Nice job graduating kid. Speech was a little dry though."
"Way to be frontal with it, one arm."
"You want me to make you fit in a Kentucky Fried box, Chicken?" Miruko held her leg up ready to attack Hawks with him trying to avoid confrontation. From the fight in Jaku, I found out later that Miruko lost an arm and Tenko lost a hand. I felt horrible knowing I couldn't fix either since my quirks can't heal what isn't there anymore. Unfortunately, this was just another thing to prove I'm not a god. Neither seemed to have a problem with it with it not hindering the rabbit hero as much since she fights with her feet most of the time. She did though take Stain and Spinner as sidekicks after everything as a way to keep them in the business of combat.
"So how's the hero work for you all?"
"Kinda leveled out after that downward spike you caused with beating All Might. Not complaining if anything." Hawks smirked before coming closer to wrap his arm around my neck. "You know kid, I could use someone like you in my agency. A tough guy that's quick. You could easily be a co-pro involved in keeping the agency afloaAAAT!" He was quickly kicked by Miruko who was irritated by Hawks' attempt to recruit me.

"If he'll join anyone's agency, he'll join mine."
"But you already have Spinner and Stain on your paper roll. I need at least one good person since Dabi refused me."
"Your problem. Not mine." After the end of the battle, the League for the most part went their separate ways. Shigaraki and Kurogiri went back to managing the bar they were before everything, Bubaigawara decided to spend more hours at the junkyard as well as making it a point to visit Magna's grave regularly. He still felt remorse for what happened to her and wants nothing more than to turn back time. Unfortunately he can't, but he tries to make amends how he can. Dabi from what I heard was offered a job at both Hawks and Endeavor's agency, but he turned them down understanding that hero work isn't for him. He did however visit his family more often with him telling me during a convenience store bento trip that his mom was able to leave the hospital last year. It's a lot of work for the family, but they're getting back to where they should be. Compress from what I'm told was given the opportunity to work as a special agent for the cops. He helps with infiltration assignments and retrieval works. He still goes and performs for kids at the park as his way to 'ease his heart' as he'd say. The man enjoys making kids happy, and I don't see a problem with it.
"You didn't tell them yet, did you?" Endeavor asked for both pros to look towards me.
"I'm actually reopening a formerly closed agency. The Shadows of the Light agency."
"Your dads old agency?" Hawks asked for me to nod.
"He ummm....he left it to me in his will for when I graduated. I've been remodeling it and making sure it was up to par for the last few months for it to meet all the mandatory standards last week."
"Awesome. Your old man would be proud." Miruko nuggied my head for me to smile.
"Yeah. I'm a little excited to have it start backup again. It kinda makes me feel like I'm giving the world back something it needed."
"Well then I guess we might be working together then." Endeavor put his hand out for me to shake it with it looking like he was smiling a bit. "I did miss working with your father a bit. This'll feel a little...nostalgic I think would be the best way to say it."
"Yeah." Me and Ochako started going around congratulating our friends and learning where they were going before making our way outside and heading to one final place.
Deep down in the cells of Tartarus, a prison cell holding All Might began to become far more restless than usual. "I HAD IT!" The sound of him shouting in the cell was heard with him apparently speaking to himself. "EVERYTHING WAS IN MY HANDS! I HAD THE QUIRK! I HAD THE POWER! THE ONLY PERSON THAT COULD EVEN STAND IN MY WAY WAS THAT BRAT, BUT EVEN THAT WAS PLANNED OUT! HOW COULD I LOSE!?"
"Ironic. My son is the one that ended this age old struggle" The sound of another person's voice was heard for All Might to look to the side and see Hisashi's spirit smile at him.
"You. Why are you here? Shouldn't you try and go to heaven or some shit?"
"Oh please. You and I both know that you won't get the luxury of rotting in this jail cell alone. I'm just going to sit here and let you know how far you've fallen."
A twitch was shown on All Might for him to shout in rage. "GET ME OUT OF HERE!"
"STOP THAT!" A guard said as All Might was trying to find some way to end this quickly. "Don't even try to move. You're not going to be able to budge an inch nor be able to use a quirk with the binds on you. Even if you wanted an easy way out, you won't get that privilege."
All Might sat in the binds, visibly enraged as Hisashi's spirit smiled at him. "How does it feel that OFA is going to die with you and you have all the power in the world with no chance of using it."
"All Might moved his head to slightly tap the board he was on. "Damn you, AFO. Damn you, heroes. Damn you....IZUKU MIDORIYA!!!!"
"Shut up!"
Me, Ochako and Eri began walking towards a grave marker with two sets of flowers. "So this is grandma and grandpa's grave?"
"Yeah." I smiled before getting to the gravestones. "Hey mom. Hey dad. It's been a while." I placed a set of flowers on my mother's grave first and was given the second set to give to my dad's. "Sorry I haven't been here for a while, but I've got some good news. You're both grandparents and you're getting a daughter in law."
Ochako came over towards them and knelt down. "It's nice to see you both. I hope I have your blessings and live up to all your expectations." She bowed before placing an offering to them and praying for them.
"It's nice to meet you grandma and grandpa. I'm Eri. It's nice to meet you." Eri bowed before Ochako started to hug her. We stayed for a bit so I can clean their graves before standing up. We made our way out of the area before turning one last time to see mom stand by the graves. I rubbed my eyes before seeing her no longer there.
"Izuku. You coming?"
"Yeah. Just a minute." I began walking over and heading back to the city and remembering the phrase I heard and the real meaning. Everyone has a journey they face in this world. Whether small or large, their journey is something that they have that makes them who they are. As such, my tale was just another one for people to learn from and for me to tell. As such, my next tale will be about my life as a whole will begin now. But that tale, that one is one that the only person I need to tell this to is my family themselves.
And that finishes this story. So Izuku had finally ended his age old struggle and All Might is forced to live in Tartarus coming to reality everything he worked for is over. Hope you all enjoyed and thank you for reading Underworld Hero.
