"And where do you think you're going?" He says eyeing me as I'm throwing things into a bag.

"To another room." I sneer grabbing the book and putting on top of everything.

"You're moving to another room because I told you to leave? Don't you think that's a little drastic?" He says obviously amused by my display of defiance.

I narrow my eyes at him,"I'm not upset because you sent me away like I was a child. I'm upset because you tricked me. I'm upset because you turned a beautiful day into a plot."

He looks at me,"What are you talking about?" 

"I'm talking about the fucking pomegranate tree!" I say through clenched teeth,"You let me, unknowingly, eat something that would fucking bound me to this place- to you, forever!"

"I told you from the beginning, Lela, that I was not going to let you leave me...ever." He says justifying himself.

"Oh, is that right?" I say,"Well now you made sure of it...I would've respected you more if you gave me a choice. Maybe I would've stayed. Maybe these past few weeks haven't been the worse days of my life, but the fact that you didn't even let me know what I was getting into hurts the most."

"Lela.." He starts but I cut him off.

"I was trying with you yet you take me for granted. You used the fact that I knew very little about you to your advantage. How can I ever trust you again?" I finish then pick up my bag.

He grips my arms as I'm leaving the room,"I won't let you leave me, Lela, not ever, but I will regain your trust in me."

He lets me pull away from him and I stomp down the hallway, but only three doors because I still didn't know this place very well. I swing open the door and slam it closed causing a few stones to fall out of place. I throw my stuff down and the bed and clench my fist trying to control my anger, but sadly I am at a lost. 

I start to throw things, break glass, and I scream. 

I scream as loud as I can. 

And it felt...good.

All this pent up anger I have kept inside me for such a long time comes out today through my screams and tears. 

"Are you okay?"

I am scared out of my rage I turn around and come face to face with a girl.

"Who are you?" I ask.

"My name is Kora." She smiles," I heard your plea and I came as fast as I could."

"My plea?" 

She places her delicate hand over my heart,"Your anger and hurt; I can feel it and it called out to me. I am here to grant your wish...of freedom...of escape."

I was captivated. She had me under some sort of spell and everything she told me seemed more and more appealing as she kept on talking.

"I can't escape...I am bound to this place."

She smiles lightly at me,"Poor child."

Child? She looked barely older than me.

"I know your problem and I know the solution." She brings up a necklace,"This has been blessed by the underworld king himself....it'll let you leave and it'll let you stay gone."

I think about this,"I don't know..."

She scoffs,"You can't tell me that you love this man."

"What? No!" I defend.

She places her hand on my shoulder," He doesn't care about you. He likes taking things that aren't his. He kidnapped you for goodness sakes."

I bite my lip,"Can really free me, and get me somewhere safe?"

She nods," Just come with me and I promise you'll be safe. I have people who make it their job to save people like you."

I take a deep breath,"Okay...how do we get out of here?"

She takes my hand in her's and closes her eyes. She whispers ancient words and suddenly a blast of light burst from her. She opens her eyes and turns me around. A portal of some sort is right in front of me.

"Where do you want to go?" She whispers.

I close my eyes and think of the one person who has always been there for me. He wasn't my friend but we'd stated some boundaries...he was the closest thing I had to one. She smiles at me and walks through the portal and just as I'm about to the door slams open and Hades looks at me with wild eyes.

"Lela don't." He says cautiously.

I look back and him then to the portal,"I'm sorry Aidoneus."

I step through the portal and I see him reach for me, but it's too late.

....

When I 'm through the bright light I take a deep breath of satisfaction. I open my eyes and smile as for the first time in weeks I am met with a blue sky and green trees.

"Are you okay?"

I let my eyes fall on her,"Yes, I'm perfect. I never thought I would miss the earth so much."

She hands me the necklace and I put it on,"C'mon lets go."

We walk down a familiar path for me and she stops in front of his house. 

I look at her,"What are we doing here?"

She shrugs,"I asked you where you wanted to go, and this is what you thought of."

"I thought you were taking me somewhere safe?"

"I thought you wanted to see your boyfriend first, but i guess not."

"He's not my boyfriend." I roll my eyes," He's just some guy."

"Whatever you say." She responds with a slight smile on her lips.

I take slow step up to his house and timidly knock on the door. We had a special knock for eachother so that we would know exactly who was at the door....i hope he hasn't forgotten. My thoughts are interrupted as the door is pulled open in such a haste. His eyes look at me like he couldn't believe i was there.

"Lela?" He questions.

I wave,"Hey Jackson."

Hey guys,

So I really felt like writing today, and since I wasn't really feeling 'The Pack Slut' today or starting a new book I decided to update The Underworld King. 

I am also thinking about changing the name for the book. I like the cover but the name isn't really giving off the vibe I want it to.

If you have any idea what the new name (if i even change it) should be comment.
