"Hey?" He says," You've been gone for about a month with almost no word to anyone yet all you can say is hey."

"Hello?" I reply.

He narrows his eyes," What are you doing here, and whose this?"

I shrug," I just thought I'd come by and this is Kora my....?"

"Friend." She cuts in. "And who might you be?"

"Jackson." He says curtly," I'm surprised Lela hasn't mentioned me."

"Bits and pieces." She responds.

"Lela, why are you really here?"

I sigh," I need so where safe to stay. Just for a few hours. I need to lay low."

He sees the panic on my face," Lela what's wrong, are you in some kind of trouble?"

"Something like that. Will you let us in?" I plead.

He steps aside," c'mon then."

I walk into his house and everything feels exactly the same. The feel is the same, and I realized how much I actually missed him.

"Who are you running from?" He says to me as I sit down.

" I wish I could tell you." I laugh," But you just need to know he's dangerous, and can't be trusted. I can't stay long or he'll find me. And I know for a fact that if He finds me here...you won't be safe. We should probably go." I say standing up.

He grabs my arm," You can't just leave."

"You're not safe." I say.

" We can go to the police, I'll keep you safe." He pleads.

" No one short of God can stop him. I have to keep moving."

"Clock is ticking." Kora says.

I sigh," Maybe I'll get to see you again."

He doesn't let me go. He pulls me closer to him and our lips meet.

He pulls away and looks at me,"Something has changed."

" I've changed." I say walking out the door.

"I want an answer." I say walking around the table full of my servants,"And if your answer doesn't please me, than I'll get angry. I don't think you'll like me when I'm mad. So, how. Did. She. Escape."

The room goes silent and I chuckle.

"Maybe you didn't hear me....How did !" I say slamming my fist on the table.

"We think it may of been Persephone, Master."

I clench my fist," I want you to track Lela down I don't care what you do. Find her, I'll deal with Persephone."

They all scramble out of the room leaving my alone to my thoughts.

"Persephone." I growl," I summon you and I swear if you don't come I'll-"

"No need to get your ancient panties in a twist, Hades. Here I am."

"What do you want?" She says looking bored."I was in the middle of something."

I push her against the wall and my hand goes around her throat,"Stop. playing. games."

"Ooo." She says licking her lips," Is that why you called my down here? I'll admit I thought you were done with our rendezvous but hey I'm game. It's been some ti-"

I tighten my grip on her neck," That's not why I called you here."

"Rough, I like it." She says in gasp.

"Where is she." I growl.

"Who?" She questions then it hits her," Oh you mean your little toy. You lost her already. The poor thing. You have enemies Adionues, I should know. Anyone could've taken her, it happened to me, it'll happen to her. I didn't take her, what need do I have for her."

"Your mother made it seem like you would take her, just to spite me." I sneer not letting up my grip.

"Oh Adionues, I don't even know why you're worried over this girl. You just use them....then abandon them. Just get a new toy."

"Don't act like you were so faithful during our marriage."

"Once!" She growled out," You cheated three times. Three times! And I forgave you, but you just gave up on us. We were supposed to be forever Hades, I was your wife! You took me from my home and I still loved you. You tricked me....and I still loved you....I still love you, but I know it's over between us. I'm not gonna force something that's not there."

I sigh and let her drop to the ground,"Fine, I believe you, but if you didn't take her....than who did?"

She shrugs and stands up cleaning herself off," I don't know,but I'll keep an eye out for you." She goes to say more but stops.

"What is it?" I question.

"You know she won't last long. She has two-three days tops before...."

"I know." I growl," That's why I want to find her before then. I like her humanity. She'll still come here if she does, but she won't be the same."

Persephone nods," I understand. I'll help you find her...I promise. I do want you to be happy Hades."

She goes to leave but I stop her,"Persephone."

"Yes."

"I still love you too, but you're right...we don't work well together.

And than....she's gone.

Hey guys,

So I really liked this chapter, and I guess it's because we got to see Hades and Persephone together and she's not a crazy person who's obsessed with Hades.

I'll be calling him both Hades and Adionues in the book, because I feel like for different situations his name should be different. Hades is more laid back while Adionues is more masculine or at least I think so.

The person I picked for Persephone is Rachel Miner and she's amazing.
