《Sleeping with my brothers best friend》Chapter 25

Finally Friday had arrived so that only meant one thing. It was the day I was going on my date with Tyler. He'd called the night before to say he was going to pick me up at 2 in the afternoon so I was starting to get ready.
Seen as it was summer I decided to wear a nice summery outfit because it was really warm outside. I'd already done my hair which I'd curled so soft curls were traveling down my back. I'd also done my make up really simply of powder and mascara as I didn't like having it too heavy when it was warm.
So the outfit I'd decided on was some short denim shorts which had rips in them and the bottoms were frayed. To go with it I'd chosen a loose fitting white off the shoulder top with long sleeves which were also loose fitting and had a lace like pattern at the end around the wrists. Once I'd got dressed I went to my closest and started to look for some shoes to wear. I finally decided on some brown sandals that have a bit of a wedged heel on them. I also picked out a cream sun hat.
Grabbing my phone I quickly took a selfie in the mirror before heading downstairs to wait in the living room. When I got there Dan and Piper were cuddled up together on the sofa watching a film.
"What you watching?" I ask them, sitting in the arm chair and starting to watch.
"Captain America: Civil War." Piper answers, smiling at me knowingly.
"And who chose this film?" I ask, already knowing the answer.
"I did," My brother replies, engrossed in the action.
"And Piper didn't disagree because of the eye candy that is Chris Evens." I say with a laugh.
"Guilty." Piper says, putting her hands up in mock surrender.
"You two are bad, now shut up I'm trying to watch." Dan says, getting annoyed at us talking through one of his favorite movies.
It may of only just come out recently but because it's marvel it automatically becomes one of his favorites. He's obsessed. Me and Piper shut up and carry on watching the film till the doorbell goes.
"That'll be for me, see ya guys." I say over my shoulder to the couple.
"Be careful." Dan warns me.
"You look hot, have fun." Piper says. waving to me.
I open the door and I automatically smile.
"Ready to go?" Tyler asks me. holding his hand out for me.
I just nod my head and take his hand, closing the door behind me.

As I look around I see his car is no where to be seen and he's carrying what distinctively looks like a picnic basket in his other hand.
"I hope you don't mind but we're walking. But now with the look of your shoes I should of brought the car." He says, worrying.
"No it's fine, I can walk in these, they may not look like a sensible choice of shoes, but they are." I reassure him, smiling.
"Ok good. I hope what you like what I've planned." He tells me.
"Anything with you will be perfect." I say and kiss him, looking forward to the day ahead.
...
Half an hour later we're sat under a tree on a picnic blanket that Tyler had pulled out from the basket he brought with him. I wasn't sure what else was in there but for now, Tyler's arms being wrapped around me as we look at the world surrounding us as we talk is enough.
"So your brother told me something the other day. Maybe you didn't want me to know but before I say anything promise you won't get angry at him. He's just looking out for you, for us." Tyler says to me, turning me so I'm facing him.
"And what exactly did my brother say to you that could make me mad?" I ask, "Because I can think of many things." I quickly add with a slight laugh.
"Well he said you had some concerns about me going to college. That you think that as soon as you're out of sight that means out of mind to me and you think I'm gonna go back to my old habits of hooking up with random girls with no strings attached," He says, a look of heartbreak all over his face.
"Oh that." I say, looking down at the blanket instead of being able to look at him.
"Yeah that. Please look at me S." He says, lifting my chin. "I love you and I know you've known me since I was what 14,15? And yes I may of hooked up with a few girls over the past 3, 4 years but believe me when I say this I love you and only you. You're the only girl I want and I wouldn't mess up what we have for a meaningless shag with some slag. So that leads me onto my next question." He pauses for a few seconds as he takes a deep breath. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asks.
I didn't think he'd ask me so soon and not after saying all that when he looked so disappointed that I thought he'd mess me about. Instead of being able to answer I just nod my head and wrap my arms round his neck, crawling into his lap to get him closer to me.

"I'm so sorry. I should of know you wouldn't do that to me. It's just I've known you for so long and I was just self conscious. Why would you want some high school chic when you can have whoever you want from college. But of course I'll be your girlfriend because I love you Tyler." I say, hoping he forgives me.
"I love you and don't worry you're better than any college chic I'm gonna meet. You're the most beautiful girl and I never want to let you go. So I forgive you." He tells me, squeezing me one more time before letting me go. "I'm hungry, can we eat now?" He asks, but doesn't wait for my answer, instead just opens the picnic basket and starts pulling out it's contents.
He first pulls out sandwiches, followed by sausage rolls, scotch eggs, bread sticks, chicken drumsticks and a bottle of lemonade. I stare at all the food and smile at the effort Tyler has put in to prepare all this. I would of just been happy with a sandwich.
"Now I brought ham sandwiches. I know tuna mayonaise is your favourite but I didn't think tuna on a date was a good idea so I went for your second favourite." Tyler tells me with a laugh.
"And you even cut the crust off." I look at him with a smile as I unwrap a sandwich.
He grabs the second and we begin to eat as we talk about what we're going to do over the summer as a couple and with the group. Once we finish eatig Tyler stuffs all the rubbish back into the basket and pulls me to him for a cuddle.
"I can't believe you prepared all that food." I say, rubbing my hands over my now bloated stomach.
"Well with the help of my Mom. You ready for the second part of the date?" He asks me, standing up and reaching for my hand.
I take his hand and he pulls me to my feet before folding the blanket up and putting it in the basket and picking the basket up. He then re takes my hand and starts to walk through the park.
"Time for ice cream." Tyler says, swinging our arms back and forth like a child and I can't stop the laugh that escapes my lips.
...
"How's your sundae?" Tyler asks me before taking another lick of his chocolate ice cream.
We were sat outside the local ice cream palour eating our chosen dessert. I'd picked my all time favourite, toffee sundae. When this place first opened I was obsessed with ice cream sundae's so I made it my personal mission to try all the sundae's on the list before I picked a favourite. And that just so happened to be Toffee.
"It's great. I would offer you some but no one's that lucky to get a bite of my food." I tell him with a smirk.
"That's just cos you're a pig." He says with a shake of his head.
"You're just jealous because I have a high metabolism so I don't put weight on where as you have to work to not gain weight." I tease him.
"Just eat your ice cream." He says, smiling at me.
We carry on eating till we're finished. Once we're done we start the walk back to my place.
"we should get everyone round yours so we can tell them the news." Tyler suggests as we walk.
I agree with him and pull my phone out of my pocket, unlocking it and going onto Whatsapp. I select our group chat that has every member of our small group in.
Sammy: Everyone get round mine and Dan's. Big news to tell you all.
"Done." I tell him as I heard Tyler's phone sound in his pocket.
"Let's get moving then." He says as he starts to walk a bit faster.
...
No more than ten minutes later me and Tyler reach my house and I see everyone's cars in our drive. I automatically get a big grin on my face, excited to tell them all. They probably all already guessed seen as they knew me and Tyler had gone on our date today but it was great to have them all here to tell them.
We walk inside and Tyler drops the basket by the door before we round the corner into the living room, still with our hands joined. As soon as we enter all four pairs of eyes turn to face us and I feel Tyler squeeze my hand. I turn to face him and he nods at me. Looks like I have the honors of letting them know the news.
"Guys, we're officially together!" I exclaim and as soon as the words leave my lips the room fills with cheers.

Why become a standard mage, average at everything, when you can use your affinity for fire to become a fire mage and cause destruction with ease? The only problem for Zelaria is that no one seems to know how to get a mage class aligned with the arcane. Approaching 17 years of age she’s still at level 0 while her peers have long left her behind, their classes selected at the age of 15 when they became available. Luck is on her side though as she manages to snag employment as a hauler with a party heading on an expedition to a dungeon abandoned centuries ago. They’re looking for riches and danger while she’s still looking for an answer, one she finds at their destination even if not in the way she expected.
