Sophie POV
"Mom a new school of course I'm freak out!" I said as summer had came to a end and tomorrow is the beginning of 5th grade. I am so scared I mean what if this year I don't know anyone in my classes. "It's going to be okay hun I mean you just moved to another hallway. I'll still be in my same class." Mom said laughing. "Okay maybe you're right." I said hugging my mom. "Glad we agree now bedtime, you have a big day tomorrow."she said walking me upstairs, tucking me in, and kissing me goodnight. I feel asleep rewinding everything that has happen this summer. Alicia and Emma got adopted. Emma now have a baby brother who is two! We even meet up and saw Kassidy and Marianna!! They were super excited to see us we even went out for ice cream and their parents let us stay over. It was amazing! Chelsea is back with her father. Don't worry everything is good now he's better. He stop drinking and got a lot of help, turns out he was just depressed about the death of Chelsea's mother, his wife and now he's back with his daughter and that's all Chelsea wanted, her father back. My little nephew is now speaking and guess what his first words were......Sophie!!! He said my name. Aunt Casey and uncle Phil was so jealous. I laughed thinking about that day. This summer has been the best. My whole life has changed every since I walked through the school doors until the moment I meet my new mom, Mrs. Morgan.

I woke up at 6:00 in the morning taking a shower, eating breakfast, brushing my teeth, and etc. Before I walked down the stairs I look at the picture of me and my real mom and dad. Their picture was now in a polka dot frame mom bought me, sitting on my desk. "Wish me look." I smiled kissing the photo holding onto my locket taking a deep breath and walk downstairs. After I grabbed my lunch and backpack I got into the car and mom drive off, grabbing ahold of my hand we walked into the building into her class. I waited on her to put her things up and we walked to my first period class standing by the door. "Looks like I'm the first one here." I smiled looking at the empty room. Mom bent down my height,"Soph I might not be here to watch you, but I want you to be good okay?" "I will mom I promised." I said giving her a hug and kiss. "That's my girl." She said kissing my forehead standing back up. I let go of her hand and walked into the classroom.

Morgan POV
Well this is it. I watch my daughter enter the room promising myself not to cry. She's growing up so fast. I backed away from the door slowly made my way to my classroom taking a sit at my desk. I didn't change Sophie's life, she changed mines. The bell rung and in came my new students taking their sits. I stood up,"Hello class. I'm Mrs. Morgan, your English teacher."

Sure, some folks might raise a brow at a 30ish year old man that should probably be in an action movie rather than the Hoenn Rookie League, but Kurt's ready for adventure. He might also wish he played more than the first two games... or remembered anything about himself.

Some people are lucky, some aren't, some - have terrible luck. Our "hero" is of the latter kind. During young age he got into an accident, which allowed him to learn the fact that he belongs to a rare group of people.. People diagnosed with lung cancer, which he, however survived. Can't say he's lucky, as his life went downhill from that point... Our story happens years later, when his fate decides to make a loop and throw him in the same kind of accident. He gets hit by a truck. Surviving the crash, suffering just a few scratches, he is ultimately "lucky" to find himself out of the hospital in no time.. however every bit of good luck always brings him terrible luck afterwards. This time pushing him maybe a bit too far.. How far? Making him vanish without a trace and find himself in the middle of an unknown forrest. Doesn't sound bad? He can consider himself lucky? Just wait and see...It can always get worse.. always.. .... Congratulations, you've made it through the intro and into the author note! If you by any chance missed the tags and didn't read the warning, please do that now. I really recommend you to. Before you jump to reading, and unintentionally scar yourself, do mind that the story is about a dark, unforgiving world, a world in which you have more opportunities to die a horrible death, than take a piss. Hero doesn't have great luck, he has dumb persistance, he doesn't go through any trial with a breeze, he pays the price of blood, flesh and tears to live..and will be paying for every mistake.. No one outright explains anything to him, just as us for the most part - he is not sure what the hell is going on.. Some real survival tactics are used as a base of the descriptions, they are as important to the world and character as any other element.. Mind that the story starts really slow, but as the stone starts rolling downhill - the pace gets faster.. Every tag for this novel has a reason to be there, so if you don't see the particular element there, don't panic.. it's either well camoufalged, subtle or simply not encountered as of yet.
