《Make You Beautiful - [Jeff the Killer x reader]》Chapter 14: keep

I didn't want to leave (y/n) alone in this place, but that's what Slender ordered me to do. I hesitated. Leaving her like that is the same as leaving a piece of candy in a sea of cockroaches. They wouldn't think twice before doing something horrible.
'Don't worry, I'll make sure no one hurts her' Slender's voice assured me in my mind. 'You better...' I thought.
I turned to (y/n). "Wait for me right behind this door. Don't go anywhere. I won't take long. I hope." With that being said I walked through the door.
Inside that room was a pretty traditional, but dark looking office. It contained a desk, a couple of armchairs, some bookshelves. The wall right in front of the door was made up almost fully of windows. Standing towards them and looking through was an extremely tall and lean figure. He wore a neat black suit that didn't even have a single loose hair on it. Mostly because the man himself didn't have any hair. As well as no face.
"Welcome back, my child. I'm glad you decided to show up." He spoke calmly, not turning away from the window.
"What do you want, Slender?" I cut right to the chase. This had to be done as quickly as possible.
"You know exactly why you're here." The tall man turned to me. "The show you put up on live television was not acceptable. You're not LJ, Jeff. Causing a circus is not something you should be doing. Do you realize the consequences?" He spoke firmly.
"Well, can't you just easily fix everything with your mighty power?" I teased.
"Its not that easy. Even for me it takes a lot of effort to fix something that the whole nation is effected by. And what for? So you could have that mortal to yourself? So you can play around for a bit and then throw her away once you get bored?" Slenderman's tone was becoming more infuriated.
His last sentence sparked a flame of anger in me. I clenched my fists. "That's not how it fucking is! I... I'm not throwing her away..."
"Oh? So are you saying a cold blooded killer has feelings now? You mean to tell me that you care for her? Because if that's the case we might have an even bigger problem here." The faceless man's voice was strict. "You wouldn't want her to end up like your brother, would you now?"
"Don't bring Liu into this. It's a whole other story, Slender. I killed him not because you made me. I killed him because I wanted to." I tried to convince both him and myself. He only responded with a deep chuckle.
"Really now? Well, what if I told you that he's still alive?" His words caused my whole body to tense.
"That's impossible. I saw him die in front of me. There's no way he survived." Still trying to convince myself i looked down. There's no way... right? This made me question everything. It made me feel weak.

"Are you sure about that, Jeff?" He leaned a little closer to me. "Or are you secretly hoping that I'm right and your brother really did survive?"
"No." I said firmly, avoiding his empty face. "I'm not. He was only getting in my way and it's better if he's dead. I didn't care for him anyway."
"Good. Then, why is that girl any different? She's just 'getting in your way', right?" Slender said, leaning back.
"She's... she's not like Liu. She's different. If you'd only give me some time I'd prove to you that she won't be a problem. Unlike My brother, I have full control of her." I looked up at him. "I promise, she'll obey me."
The tall man hesitated for a moment, then took a deep sigh. "Very well. I'll give you some time. But you two will have to live here in the mansion from now on."
I didn't like that idea. Living in the mansion meant that I'd have to see my so called
'co-workers' every day. And I hated that. They'd always get on my nerves. Plus, there's no doubt that they'd try to do something to (y/n). But what choice did I have. That was the only way for me to keep her.
"Fine. We'll stay here." I agreed forcefully.
"Good. Now, you can go." He said. And as soon as he did I rushed out of the room. To my horror she wasn't alone. I clenched my teeth.
BEN.
Fucking bastard.
"The fuck are you doing, BEN? Get away from her, you little cunt. She's mine!" I warned him.
"C'mon, Jeffrey. Haven't you ever learned that sharing is caring?" BEN laughed. He, just like everyone else in this goddamn house loved to get on my nerves. I was about to lash out at him, but there was no time to fight him now.
"(Y/n), let's go." I had to get her to safety.
As we were walking to my old room that was kept untouched in case I came back, I explained to her that we were staying here from now on. I didn't get much of an answer. She only kept on nodding.
We passed through dark hallways that all pretty much looked the same: old and ripped in places Victorian style wallpaper, very little light, lots of dust everywhere. This place was just like I remembered it. Now the only thing I could hope for was to not encounter anyone. Some of them could be an even bigger bother than BEN and this situation needed as little attention as possible.
We finally reached my old bedroom door. I unlocked it and entered with (y/n) following close behind. A meeting with BEN probably startled her a little. At least that's what I assumed. That fucked up computer game looking dude surely knows how to mess with people. And even though I hated him, pretty much like almost everybody else in this goddamn mansion, he can really come in handy.

Surprisingly, my room was just like I left it. Even the unmade bed in the far left corner next to the big dirty window. The rest of it contained a wardrobe, a desk with a chair and a door to the bathroom. Not much, but that was all I needed. I bet even some of my clothes were still in here.
I closed the door and turned to (y/n).
"Now listen to me. Remember the first rule? Obey me, aways?" She just looked at me, clearly not very happy that I brought that up. I continued. "Well, now you have to go by that rule no matter what. If you dare to do even the slightest little thing against my will, it will not end well. And I don't just mean that I will punish you. If will be much worse. Go it?
"What is 'worse'?" She asked.
"You don't want to know. And neither do I..." I whispered the last part to myself. "Also, do not leave this room. Not without me. If you do you will get killed.
"What is going on here, Jeff? You didn't even explain everything clearly. Just that this Slenderman wants us to stay here. But why?" (Y/n) finally broke down with questions.
I sighed. Explaining everything really wasn't something I wanted to do or felt like it was necessary. But I knew she wouldn't quit taunting me if I didn't.
"Slender wants to make sure you're not in my way. Is that good enough of an answer?" I explained quickly.
"Um... not really." She said an unhappy tone.
"Well, you'll have to deal with it. I don't have time or energy to get into details. It's been a long day." The light coming from windows was getting dimmer. After all that driving and all those conflicts, especially not being able to have even an hour to myself to go 'relax', I really felt exhausted.
"I don't care! I want answers! Jeff, you've been dragging me around like I'm some toy. Well, I'm not. You need to explain to me everything right now!" She just didn't shut up. It was starting to seriously get on my nerves. Every little complain coming from her lips could be a trigger for an explosion. I clenched my teeth in order to speak as calmly as I could:
"What the fuck did I just tell you about obeying me? What are you doing right now? That's right. The exact opposite. Now, be a good girl and do as I say. And I say shut up or you'll get both of us in trouble." I gave her a sarcastic smile.
"What kind of trouble? I'm not backing down until you explain." She was getting all up
In my face. I felt the small glass of my patience I had left overflowing. She really needed to fucking know her place in here. She needed a lesson.
I pushed her towards the wall and towered over, pinning her down. She was clearly startled by my action. Her (e/c) eyes went wide and stared at me, not knowing what to expect. I leaned closer to her side, my lips nearly touching her ear and whispered:
"Listen up. I know I've been all nice and soft to you, but just so you know my patience isn't exactly golden. If you continue on using it and acting this way I promise, I will not be as tolerant. And trust me, you do not want that." With that said I leaned back a little to look the girl in the eyes. I could see a pinch of anger in them, but mostly just fear. I loved it when she was all weak and under my control. I grinned before backing away from her.
She just stared at me, analyzing what was I gonna do next. I plopped myself into the bed and covered my face with my hands to cover my eyes from the light. It was still a pretty early evening, but I felt like I could just pass out instantly.
I glance at (y/n). She still stood there.
"Well don't just stand there. Go lay down or something." I said in annoyance. That slowly made her walk up to the bed. I looked up at her.
"I haven't eaten anything all day, J-Jeff." She murmured.
I let out a sigh. "Fine." Annoyance from the slightest things she did was getting to me, but I didn't want to lash out at her like the last time and feel bad about it afterwards.
"Stay here." After that warning I headed out of the room and towards the kitchen. It wasn't just food you could find there. There were several jars of kidneys standing around, some other organs as well, dried blood splattered in places. The kitchen, just like the rest of this mansion was dirty and dark. Nobody takes care of this place, really.
I looked around and found a decent looking apple. That'll do. I grabbed it and headed back to my room.
"Here." I said, tossing the apple to (y/n), who was now sitting on the edge of the bed. She caught it and looked at me like i was some idiot.
"Just appreciate what you got and eat it." I said as I took off my hoodie and my t-shirt, then threw myself onto the bed and got under the covers, quickly drifting off.

Erind x Deen Alternate Reality Spin-Off of REND
Main Story: REND Due to popular demand of readers of REND, I'm writing a non-canon spin-off to pair Erind Hartwell, the main character, and Amber Deen Leska, (probably) the most popular side character of the story. I separated this from the main story because a romantic type of relationship between these two is not possible there. It'll be mostly light-hearted, slow progression of Erind and Deen's relationship, will mostly be fluffy interaction with maybe some adult scenes here and there.
