As soon as Luke read the note, he rushed to Zane's apartment.

"What are you doing here? Kai isn't home." Matteo said, glaring at Luka, until he show Luka's state, "what happened?" He asked, shooting up from his seat and walking over.

Zane appeared by his side, in a split second.

"Kai is gone. H - His father called vampire slayers and tried to take him and I went to attack them - and when I was done. Kai was gone." Luke said, crumbling down to his knees.

"Do you know who took him?" Matteo asked, walking over and squatting down beside him.

"Y - Yes." He cried, making Matteo pull him into a hug, Luka instantly melted into the touch.

"Then we will get him back, whatever it takes." Matteo reassured, holding a now sobbing Luka in his arms.

"It's my fault." Luka said, "I was too busy killing the slayers, I didn't even pay attention to Kai."

"Who took him?" Zane asked, his eyes flashing orange.

"Who do you think? Xavier." Luka said, "he's probably pissed off that we have a human."

Matteo pulled away, his eyes glowing yellow, "well let's go pay him a visit then."

Both males agree, Luka's crying calming down as he eyes flashed to a deep red, a red neither male's have seen before.

"Yeah let's go pay him a beating." Luka said and left within a second.

Matteo looked at Zane and shrugged before leaving as well. Zane sighed, before following the two males, making sure to lock his door.

The ended up at their office, Luka was in the business meeting room, screaming.

Matteo and Zane ran in and to see Xavier holding Kai, who was crying heavily.

"Finally glad to see you two could join us. Have a seat." Xavier spat, forcing Kai with him in the seat beside him, "and if you dare to make a move, he dies."

All three males sat down, their eyes only on Kai. "What do you want with him?" Zane asked.

"You mean this useless human? Nothing. I want to know what you want with him." Xavier said.

"Why does it matter?" Luka growled.

"He's a human! He is nothing but a thing that is going to get old and die. Yet you all seem to be so in love with him." The male spat, holding Kai like a paper weight, shaking him around.

Kai sobbed, in the male's grasp. "P - Please stop." He cried out, Zane stood up, "sit down, now."

Zane eyes flashed to orange, before he reluctantly sat back down.

"Now, why is he such an important human to you?" Xavier asked.

Matteo looked down, "because we love him."

Xavier laughed, "a human? You guys love a human? Even Luka? After what happened the last time? Foolish."

Luka looked down as well, making Kai speak up, "leave him alone. He remembers that day all the time without you rubbing his mistakes in his face. Have you never killed without meaning to, because the other side of you took control? Have you no mercy for him?" Kai spoke.

Xavier looked at him and laughed even more, "you are such a stupid human at that. To think people could change, no one truly changes. I have shown mercy for every one of my sons, but instead they repay me with forcing me to leave my business in their unsteady hands. This is the last time I ever show mercy." He spat, grabbing Kai and biting his neck.

Kai screamed out in pain, trying to push the male away, feeling the male grip tighten, making it impossible.

Zane and Matteo shot up from their seats, Luka frozen and unable to move.

Xavier pulled away, "ever human you find after this, I will kill. Consider this your last warning." The male said, pulling away and dashing away.

"Fuck," Matteo cried, rushing over and instantly attaching his lips to Kai's neck, sucking out the vemon.

Kai let out sobs of pain, clinging into Matteo. He could hear Zane and Luka soft cries as the watch Matteo try to save him.

Matteo pulled away, watching Kai's eyes flutter close. Matteo looked at Zane and Luka who were holding into each other for support.

"Well?" Zane choked out.

Matteo sighed, "we won't know until he wakes up." Matteo said.

Luka nodded, "let's just get him home, yeah?" Luka said, walking over and picking up Kai's limp body.

Matteo held his hands close to his chest, watching Luka speed off, Zane following after him.

"Please don't be a vampire." Matteo prayed to himself, following after the two.

He came up to see Luka brushing Kai's hair out of face. "He's gonna be open." Zane said, rubbing Luka's back, "he has to be."

"He's a fighter, always been one." Matteo said, walking over to the two and leaning into Zane.

"He'll win this or die fighting."
