《Control [Carlisle Cullen]》0.5

The house was unusually empty. It was weird not having the boys around. It was weird how quiet the house suddenly became, even if there were still five people there. However, Esme had disappeared, Rose and Bella hardly talked, and the only noise there was was classical music playing through a stereo.
"Are you guys hungry?" Alice asked, "Esme said she'd be happy to make something for you."
"I'm good," Eleanor smiled, glancing over at Bella, "thanks though."
It was late - nearly eleven. Eleanor knew she'd probably be up all night with at least one of the vampires. Nothing important was happening at school, so what was the point of sleeping?
Bella had disappeared up to Edward's room. She claimed she wanted to change, but she hadn't come back down, and it had been nearly an hour. Eleanor had a suspicion that Bella found out why Alice decided to have them over.
"Hey Rose?" El looked up at the blonde, who was staring back at her, "can I ask you something?"
"Sure."
"When Bella asked if you were okay with her becoming a vampire, you said no. Why?" She was genuinely curious.
Rose's face fell for a mere second before she closed her eyes and sighed, "my human life was perfect. Absolutely perfect. But there were things I still wanted. To be married with a nice house and husband to kiss me when I came home. A family of my own," a small smile tugged at her lips while she reminisced.
"Royce King was the most eligible bachelor in town. I barely knew him, but I was young. I was in love with the idea of love. On the last night of my life, I was leaving a friend's house late. He was drinking with a group of men in the street when he called me over," Rosalie paused for a moment, composing herself, "they left me to die in the streets. I wanted to be. That's when Carlisle found me. He smelt all the blood. He thought he was helping me."
Eleanor frowned, looking down at her hands, "I'm so sorry, Rose."
"I got my revenge on them - one at a time. I saved Royce for last, so he'd know I was coming. I was a little theatrical back then," she said with a chuckle and a shrug, "things got better when I found Emmett. But we'll always be like this, frozen. That's what I miss the most, the possibilities. Sitting on a porch swing somewhere, Emmett grey haired by my side. Our grandchildren running around, laughing."
She suddenly turned to look at Carlisle's mate, "do you want to be a vampire?"

Eleanor pursed her lips as she thought of her answer, "yes and no. There's no doubt in my mind that I want to be with Carlisle forever, you know? But at the same time, I can't stop thinking about my mum and Jess. I couldn't just disappear without them knowing what happened to me. That would be the only thing holding me back. I never really wanted children."
Rosalie nodded, "I'm glad you're Carlisle's mate. At least you're thinking of the consequences."
"Is that why you hate Bella?"
"I don't hate her," she scoffed, "I envy both of you, you know? You both are getting the choice I never had."
"Do you want to come to Jake's with me?"
Eleanor and Bella walked out of the school side by side. Eleanor shrugged.
"Yeah, I've got nothing better to do."
Carlisle wasn't back yet, Jess was busy with her speech, and she missed the pack. She followed Bella to her truck and threw her stuff in the back seat, before getting in the passenger seat. Bella turned the radio up, and took off to the reservation.
The car ride was quiet. Eleanor zoned out pretty quickly. Her eyes stared out the window, focusing on nothing in particular. Bella didn't mind her silence.
The sound of Bella's door closing snapped Eleanor out of her trance, and she quickly scrambled out of the truck. She saw the pack standing in a small circle in front of Emily's and smiled.
"Eleanor!" Emily broke away from Sam's side and rushed to give the girl a hug.
"Hi," she grinned and hugged Emily, tightly.
The boys soon followed after Sam's imprint, pulling Eleanor into a large group hug, "you smell better."
"If you're going to tell me how I smell each time I come over, I'm going to kill you," El glared over at Paul.
"Yeah right," he laughed loudly, and Embry punched his shoulder. Eleanor raised an eyebrow and a hand.
Paul's eyes widened when he saw Eleanor's magic, "okay fine, I'll stop."
Twigs snapped behind the group, and Eleanor turned to see a girl around her age. She must've been Leah Clearwater. Eleanor never got to meet her the last time she was over.
"Bella, Eleanor, this is Leah Clearwater," Jacob introduced, "Harry's daughter."
Eleanor shot her a small smile, and waved. Bella nodded, "Hey. I'm really sorry about your father."
"If you're here to torture Jacob some more, feel free to leave," she sneered at Bella. Leah looked at Eleanor once more, before turning to shift into her wolf.
"Well, she's friendly," Eleanor grimaced.
"Yeah," Paul snorted, "she's a delight."

"El, we're going to the garage if you want to come," Bella told her. Eleanor looked at Jacob, who rolled his eyes.
"I'm coming," she smiled. She felt like she needed to keep an eye on Jacob in case he couldn't keep his hands to himself.
The trio walked towards Jake's garage in silence. Eleanor could basically feel Jacob's annoyance rolling off of him, but she didn't care. The teen had to realize Bella wasn't his - nor would she ever be.
"So when did Leah join the pack?" Bella asked, taking a seat on Jacob's bench.
"Her and Seth shifted right after their father's funeral," Jacob explained, and Eleanor felt of pang of sadness in her heart. She couldn't understand how Seth and Leah felt. Her dad had left, he hadn't died. She used to wish he was dead because then it'd be easier to stop thinking about him.
"He's only fifteen, the youngest we've had. Sam keeps him home studying, but he's chomping at the bit. Wish it was Leah who'd stay home," he sneered.
"Jacob, don't be such a guy," Bella rolled her eyes. Eleanor knew about the whole problem between Sam, Leah and Emily. She was sure that it only made Leah feel worse about being a part of the pack.
"It's not a chick thing, it's a triangle thing. We all have to live the same Sam-Leah-Emily pain fest. Wolf telepathy remember?" El had forgot they could read each other's minds.
"So Sam dumped Leah for Emily?" Bella asked, growing confused.
"It's not like that," Eleanor spoke, "Sam hates himself for hurting Leah."
Jacob shot the girl a look, angry at her for interrupting his story. Eleanor just grinned at him before continuing, "but Emily was the One."
"Yeah," Bella smiled, "I guess it just chooses you sometimes."
"No, it's not a crush, Bella. Sam imprinted on Emily."
"Do I want to know what that is?" Bella asked, and Eleanor chuckled at the girl.
"Imprinting on someone is like... like when you see her, everything changes. All of a sudden it's not gravity holding you to the planet anymore, it's her. Nothing else matters. You would do anything, be anything for her," he had a dazed look on his face as he stared down at his bike.
"Sounds like you know the feeling," Bella commented, "have you...?"
"Imprinted on someone?" He scoffed, "you would know if I had. I just have a direct line to Sam's thoughts."
"So you're still you," Bella nodded.
"And you're still you," Eleanor saw a smirk stretch over Jacob's face and rolled her eyes at the boy.
"Yeah. Until graduation."
Eleanor's head snapped up at the unexpected news. "What?"
"Graduation?" Jacob asked.
"You knew this was gonna happen, Jake," she mumbled.
"Not in a month! I mean not before you've... you've even lived! Or before I could," he trailed off, looking Bella straight in the eye, "just for a second I thought, but he has his hooks so deep in you-"
"This wasn't his choice, it was mine," she pleaded with him. Eleanor stood up by Bella, and glanced warily at Jacob.
"Bella they're not even alive! It makes me sick," he now glared at the girls, "I'd rather you'd really be dead than one of them."
Eleanor gasped loudly, "Jacob that's enough."
"No, you're no better Eleanor! You're going to change too, and then you'll be just as good as your bloodsuckers," he spat.
Eleanor shot a hand forward, and watched as her scarlet magic threw Jacob back. Bella shook her head at him, "we shouldn't have came. Edward was right."
Jacob stood back up as Bella stormed out of the garage. Eleanor looked back towards the werewolf. She opened her mouth to say something, before closing it and shaking her head. She followed behind Bella, feeling more disappointed with every step she took.
Eleanor found herself back at the Cullen's house that night. Carlisle was finally home, and she wanted to see him before going home. The coven sat in the living room- Alice and Jasper were playing a card game and Emmett and Rose were cuddled up on the couch next to Esme who was reading a book.
Carlisle stood beside Eleanor, who was sat at the computer desk. She had her head in her left hand, while the other use the mouse to scroll down the computer scene. She was studying for her exams, but she was already tired and annoyed that she had to.
"Can I stop studying now?" Eleanor groaned, throwing her head back to stare at Carlisle. She had been memorizing her History notes for the last hour.
He only nodded with a chuckle before moving backwards so Eleanor could get out of the chair. She hadn't told him about the encounter with Jacob earlier. Truthfully, she didn't want to talk about it. It hurt her that one of her best friends could think of her like that.
The front door snapped Eleanor out of her thoughts, and she looked up to see Edward and Bella rush in. Carlisle pushed himself off the computer desk, and stepped in front of Eleanor.
"What's wrong?" Carlisle asked, anxiously.
Eleanor quickly rolled the chair to Carlisle's side. She took in the nervous looks on both of their faces, and frowned.
"Someone's been in Bella's house."

In this chaos, as the world begins to unravel in foul ways, something else stirs. Something else found its way through. Author's Note: I will update this story as often as I can. I am quite busy and write this during breaks at work. This is one of those goon-squad stories with a million characters, so "dizzying" might be a good way to describe the energy. Much of what builds up to the first arc happens in the first ten chapters, which are quite long. For that reason, if you have difficulty getting through the story, I understand, though things don't really start happening until Chapter 8-10.

In Another World with Doraemon's 4D Pocket
Cary found himself awoken in a foreign land with what he thought was a nondescript white pouch. Reaching into the white pouch, he was able to pull out an assortment of gadgets that he recognized to be from his favorite childhood show, Doraemon. With the thousands of mischievous, powerful gadgets inside the 4D pocket, Cary will take on this new world by storm! Something ridiculous I will write purely for fun alongside my main story Giantslayer As a disclaimer, I may nerf some of the most broken gadgets or even not use them at all. Doraemon was insane for a children manga (e.g. Doraemon canonically has a nuclear bomb inside his 4D pocket), some of the gadgets have the potential to end this story in one chapter. The most important factor is fun so anything that completely breaks the story might not be mentioned at all (or we will pretend they do not exist in the 4D pocket). We may find uses for those broken gadgets in the future, though. I am not particularly good at writing comedy. There will of course be funny moments (at least I hope they are funny) but everyone in this story will actually behave in a realistic(?) and serious manner. I want the serious world to contrast with some of the wacky gadgets that are available.
