《Slave (Magi FanFiction)》Chapter 2

Grazing my elbow against the door, I pushed it open with my hip and placed down the trays. After placing them down I bowed to show my respect. "Good evening masters."
Master Nagasaki stood up and walked over to me, grabbing my chin and forcing me to look him in the eyes.
"Who gave you permission to speak? I guess I'll let it slide, since you're so pretty."
He grabbed a strand of my hair, cutting it off with his dagger. Then he slapped me right across my face.
"Go back to your cell, monster."
I bowed again and ran out of the room. I hate him. Why was I chosen for this fate? Why were any of us born here? We could be in a loving family, having fun, laughing, and enjoying ourselves but instead we are chained up like blood thirsty monsters! Why was it us?
"Why?!"

I headed towards King Sinbad's palace. Alibaba and Aladdin hurried, trying to catch up with me. "Morg, what's wrong? Who was that girl?" Aladdin looked worried when I turned around to meet his blue eyes. "There are slaves around. I must bring this to King Sinbad's attention. They are in danger."
As I was running back, I bunped into another slave. "I'm sorry. Huh?" I looked up and saw a pair of green-yellow eyes. "Shina? Shina!" I hugged her tight and began to sob into her clothes. "There there, it's alright. What happened this time?" I sniffed. "He slapped me " Shina looked away in anger. "Damn them. Come on, lets go back to our room."
Even though me and Shina were twins, she always acted like the older sibling. She was more like a mother than a sister.

"Damn them." I can't believe that bastard would hit Mira again. She doesn't deserve this, and neither do the other slaves. I may be only a minute or two younger than Mira, but as twins I think it would be better if I was the "motherly figure" in our little family, if you could even call it one.
I took Mira's hand and lead her to our room, or prison.
"Mira, do you want to hear a story?" She nodded as I remembered a story mother used to tell us.
"There was an empire called the Marilan empire. This empire had a king, a queen, and two young princesses. One of them was named Mira, and one of them Shina."
Mira was in awe as I continued on with the story.
"They both were twins, but they were very different from eachother. Just like their Dijins. Their dijins were Lila and Elizabeth-"
I was suddenly cut off when the door slammed open.
"Master Nagasaki is requesting all of the slaves at once. Hurry up, monsters."
I looked at him, trying to hide the disgust and anger in. I grabbed Mira's hand and walked out of the room, following the other slaves.
We were all called into a cage, where we usually stood when Master Nagasaki had to talk to the slaves.
"Alright, slaves, we are moving into another base. It is in Sindria."
Sindria?
"I am only moving with some slaves, the rest will be killed, and you get to watch before you leave for Sindria. You should all hope that you get the opportunity to stay in my command."
Killed?!
He started pointing to random slaves, as they were forced out of the cell. They were put in more shackles, these ones around their hands.
I suddenly looked around me. Slaves were disappearing from the cage rather fast when I noticed Shina being picked out. No! Please don't pick her!
